Hi LickNRiff, I know its been many years since you posted this song but I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have made guitar for me fun again. I was getting board with traditional chords and strumming on accoustic and so rather started focusing on my electric and lead playing with a pick. Classical music was always very challenging taking many months and years to learn a song. Your lessons have many great sounding songs in classical arrangement which are not to difficult to learn in a few days or weeks. I am having a blast on the accoustic guitar again improving my classical playing. Thank you once again, I appreciate all your effort and lessons

The pinky resting on the guitar is a really good habit for fingerstyle playing because it allows him to use all of the other fingers while keeping his hand in a fixed position, its a good use for the pinky considering it doesnt pluck any strings itself! It basically does what the thumb of the other hand does!

Well, I prefer to stick with tab because most guitar players don't use notes. You could try and translate the tab into GP and that will show you the notation
it means you pick the string when holding down on the 4th fret, and use another finger on ur left hand and slam that finger onto the 5th fret to make a note,

I have a very important correction A 8:37 in the tab, the bass notes 6 5 and 3 are meant to be in the 6th or low E string, NOT the next one. I hope I sorted out any confusion.
