Good reaction. This was from January 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena. Su was 17, Yui and Moa only 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control. Even at that age Su just looks at the crowd, spreads her arms and the crowd opens up for a wall of death (actually several walls of death at that concert. A journalist up in the balcony that night said he counted, i think it was, 21 mosh pits). About the song itself. 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow. Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. They played it live together with DragonForce at an awards show in London later in 2015. Herman Li said they wrote the guitar parts to be faster and more technical than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live - and they had to practice hard when they were told about the awards show. This was the Kami Band East (Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums).
Suzuka was 17 and Yui and Moa were both 15 at this show. Mikio was not at this performance but the two Kami Band guitarist were Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus. Thanks for the reaction and as always.... Put your Kitsune UP!!
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。The crowd involvement (circle pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. This anthemic & normally finale song was played in their almost every show (either in their headline or in huge festival) The audience reaction is always similar to it in this video. In your video, Su shouted some words at 13:12 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She has shouted it occasionally since then and when she does, it is with her friendly smile and matured mild voice that I love 😄
Nice reaction! I have listened to "Road of Resistance" over and over again and I never get tired of it! It's a cool song from the intro to the end! 🤘🦊🎸🔥
Great reaction and definitely the last song. Su was 17 and Yui and Moa were both 15. Imagine putting out that energetic a performance at the end of a 90 minute show. "That is the happiest guitar ever!". Love it.

The Kami band did actually perform the song at a Babymetal show in Yokohama in 2015. It has Mikio, but ironically not Takayoshi himself. And there's only fan cam footage of it, as far as I am aware.
Nice job. You did kinda nail the sweep picking part. 😄
been waiting for this one
Just realised you haven’t done Babymetal Monochrome PIA arena 2023! Shame on me for leaving that one out!
Great reaction!!! I have done drum covers of most BabyMetal songs and this is a pretty tough one... check it out if you like! ruclips.net/video/g043B7V5DBU/видео.html
babymetal suggestion: BxMxC live
japanese band suggestion: x-japan or sex machineguns (both thrash/power metal)
non-japanese band suggestion: how about some Blind Guardian?

Last song.. How you close a show!
We would love your reaction to a video that Takayoshi Ohmura of the band Kami released in the past.

Is the time
your mic sounds off... has been for all videos I watched from you
Not sure on that solution. What's off about it?
