hmm been a while since i've heard both of them. but IIRC they're probably close in terms of imaging and soundstage. tuning wise the FIIL T1XS i think still sounds better and more natural.
Question! I recently got the Haylou W1 Earbuds and was already replaced by Haylou due to factory issue. When I got the replacement buds, it had the same concern: when both buds are used, only one side's microphone is working (or has output during a call) and not the other. But when the buds are used one at a time, both buds' microphones are working. Wanted to ask if it's the same with you? :) Thanks!
i passed these to a friend so can't really confirm, but from what I recall it was one side only too for the mic, same for most TWS earbuds I've tried too. They seem to only use 1 mic for talking, and use the rest for some sort of noise cancellation processing. I'm not sure why, but maybe there's a limitation somewhere. maybe since the output of both sides has to be in sync already, and it's harder to try and keep 2 input from both sides in sync as well at the same time?
@@JamesGamingShow i still think the gt1 plus is pretty nice sounding in the really budget price range, though the chipset is a little old now, and volume isn't the loudest. Haven't tried that the GT3, GT5 etc though, so hard to say. But i do think this W1 sounds pretty nice decent for the price too.
hmm, if your phones supports APTX adaptive, both will perform similarly and can utilise the lower latency mode. they probably have the same microphone array too so mic quality is kinda the same too. Both should work well for gaming. Still some minor latency, but not unusable for me. Though if your phone doesn't have aptx adaptive (this is quite important since regular aptx still has high latency), i wouldn't recommend it for gaming at all.
not sure how the X1 sounds, but it probably depends on what you're looking for? X1 seems to have more features like ANC, wireless. The lack of qualcomm chip isn't a huge deal for me since the tuning of the earbuds will probably affect the sound more than AAC vs aptX. Also not all phones support aptX adaptive, which means from the aspect of low latency mode, the aptx low latency mode might not work for all phones whereas the X1 is more flexible. Though because there are so little reviews and feedback on that model, probably better to just wait and see for now 😂
@@shudiptodas9559 hmm... I imagine the mic hardware is most likely the same, but W1 will have Qualcomm's cVc noise reduction for calls, and while I'm not sure about the connection strength of the chip in X1, but QCC3040 has been pretty reliable based on my experience with a handful of TWS with that particular chip. But it's still kinda hard to say considering there are so little reviews on the X1. 😂
I've not tried the GT5, but I think that the low latency mode should be very close to what aptx LL offers. That said, that's only if your phone supports aptx LL. So if you have an iPhone or older Android phone, you can't get low latency at all on the W1, whereas the low latency mode on the GT5's should work with any device since from what I know, it should be similar to the type that the QCY T5 is using.
i owned it and to be honest my cheaper Borofone BE49's sound quality much better than this even though its only like 9$ and nobody heard this brand. I plan to sell this Haylou W1 back xD
I did consider doing some a while back, but there are quite a few variabilities here such as the type of calls. regular calls would sound different from VOLTE calls, or VOIP calls over apps like whatsapp/telegram. 😂 But definitely look into working that into reviews in the future. just have to figure out which type of sample will work better. Thanks for the feedback! :)
I've been using this for the last 7 days, so far it's working perfectly. The sound quality is good.
Update on ur earbuds pls ?
@ridwanur rahman Is it treble heavy? How was the noise cancellation?
how is the sound level? is it loud enough? cause my haylou gt2 sucks
@@clueless_andy well to me, it's 7th month ongoing and the sound quality is still top notch. Loudness is good enough.
@@RidwanurRahmanextreme thanks bro. is it good for outside too? on 100% level
Decent, simple and honest review that's I've seen so far ! Keep up the good work 👍
thanks! :D

@@axhng That makes sense now. Thank you for your thoughts!!!! Big help! :)

Great review, which one would you recommend between haylou w1 , anker soundcore lifenote and bloody m90.
thanks! unfortunately i've not tried those models though, so can't comment much on those. sorry.

I'm stuck. Go for w1 or moripod for gaming? Both specs looks similar. Pubg or codm need to communicate and need a fast response

all detail here. good work
Do theses get as loud as the edifier tws1 pro
sorry have not tried the edifier tws1 pro, but these are definitely not the loudest TWS around though.
@@axhng ok thank you
which one would be better W1 or X1? X1 is the latest one but it still lacks the qualcom chipset. is it will be a good option to go for X1?

Sound volume is low..is there a way to increase it?
unfortunately not that i know of, unless you use a music player like poweramp and really pump up the preamp in the EQ or something.
These Haylou W1 are better for gaming than the GT5? They have less latency?

haylou w1 vc haylou gt7 ???
unfortunately have not tried the GT7, so can't say for sure.
Which one better Haylou W1 or Soundpeats True Engine 3S?
sorry but i've not tried the True Engine 3S. though based on scarbir.com's description of the tuning, my guess is that this will sound better.
@@axhng thank you for the information 😁

The stock ear tips are crap. Get a good set of eartips and with that a good seal then the sound quality is exceptional
Mic test please
