Nice! Looking forward to this. Edit: Good review, would have like to see a bit newer of a card, but still good. I'd like to point out though that these cards were never intended for 1080p when new, so even getting a 6% increase on average for 1080p is impressive.
I definitely agree with you, it was never meant to go anywhere near an above-1080p res. Also Im working on getting some new cards in, but their still gonna be quite old. New ones are expensive man
@@Jaindike I understand, hopefully you can get a deal on one. As a matter of fact, I have an old Nvidia GPU I pulled out of a Phenom II a while back. I think it's a 9800gs... Gts? If I'm not mistaken... Anyway if you want to cover shipping it's yours. I can't encode a thing on that relic. I'll double check the model before sending it of course.
The 512MB variant was usable in 2016, ran games at 1080p, minimal settings, cinematic framerate (15-24fps) or 720p, minimal settings, smoother framerate (30-50fps)
"Hyper Memory" is just marketing speak for something all PCIe (and even AGP for that matter) gpus are able to do: wrangle system memory for use as their own memory through DMA (direct memory access.) This is why running out of vram on your gpu doesn't crash games but just makes them perform very poorly. But you didn't run into that in any of these tests anyway.
oh I think I sold one of these for $10 back in 2018... or maybe it was the 4670. the guy wanted to play old CoD games and the iGPU on his i3 2120 isn't cutting it. it was suprising how it could play even BO2 at 768p low. these GPUs are really fun to mess around with😂
When a GPU from the last decade pulls a nice FPS, it's cliché, it's predictable. Oh wow big deal, you have newer architecture, more VRAM, and more game assets naturally get stored in that area. Big whoop. A GPU from TWO DECADES ago pulls 90 FPS in modern CSGO, now THAT'S something special. That really gets my wheels turning.
(this is a reworked fake john madden quote about men with nice asses) Edit: I was genuinely surprised with the performance of CSGO so I expected way more with Insurgency and especially Dishonored compared to what was delivered. I really wonder why that is, Dishonored should have been a piece of cake
@@Jaindike if I can play that game really good ill but that card but I'll recommended some settings I would just put high textures on and simple reflection cus the other settings don't really do snything
you need to add a -allow_third_party_software launch option for afterburner overlay to work
Thank you very much. Had no clue about that

Good video. I'm thinkin' that based on your Left 4 Dead numbers that Half Life 2 had vsync on.
Yeah your probably right. Thought I turned it off though

Hi @Jaindike and everyone else!
Hello!
Took quite long. Still great vid 😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Jaindike I'll try my best to come to each and every vid of yours... So don't you dare forget me
@@UZmanz ayy bet. I'll remember you

Didn't know that, but it makes sense. Thanks
@@Jaindike NVIDIA branded their "version" of this "TurboCache" its the same thing.
4:10 afterburner won't work cause of the anti cheat of vavle
Apparently this works
-allow_third_party_software

They really are. Especially while overclocking
HD 4850 (500mb) runs CoD BO 2 in Full HD in 35 FPS on very-very high settings.
In first mission. Don't know what will be later
Looking good
Ay thanks

Right? An old GPU running csgo at 90 fps is more impressive to me than a 4090 pulling 700
Can you test no room in hell on this card
Will include it in my next hardware testing video

great one hp using regular ddr2for this gpu a 1gb version in 2010 on a core i3 system
Where did you get nimez terascale 1 DX10 dirver? There are no any on their website, only for terascale 2-3 DX11
same, i couldnt find it too. did you find it?
Can u give me link of nimez driver for hd 7470 ddr3 ?
Just updated the description with the driver link!
It works with the mobile version of the amd 4650?
It might. Worth a shot
@@Jaindike couse i have one i wil give them a spin. Then i report back.
nice nice
will send you a 5570 if youd like
Ooh tempting. I don't have a PO box yet though, so I'm gonna have to pass
Dahm i thought the card is would be useless guess not
Right? Not quite as bad as I expected either
dx 11 support is pretty decent tbh
I thought the 4650 didn't support dx 11 though?
@@Jaindike My bad I read the description as if you were saying that it kinda of worked but at least you got dx 11 working
@Jumper gamer Ooh thanks for letting me know. Think I copied it from the wrong video
