After you put down the sealant, I'd recommend pulling the tape while it's still wet and then running your finger along the edges of each side so that you don't end up with raised edges.
I have only ever rebuilt 3 piece wheels once. My old S15 had Ganador Passion wheels and one of the rears had a slow leak. Was a bit stressful but I know what you mean about getting the silicone perfect.
Brother Mike youve got a flat spot in your outer barrel... After you pull the tape and are rolling it back and foward look at the right hand side lip its very noticeable 11.18 - 11.30 in video
Could you use a torque wrench to take off the bolts and see how many pounds that takes? Then tighten the bolts to whatever it took to take them off or do torque wrenches not work like that.
With a digital torque wrench you could see roughly what they were torqued to, but using that torque is not the greatest idea. You always want to find an actual spec if you can, they might have been torqued to the wrong spec before or could have loosened a bit over time, giving you a bad number.
It’s cracking because ur literally riding on the rim u can see the back lips is thrashed also it’s because you have a heavy car on a camber . You can except to continue to have issues with that janky set up
Anytime running any camber more then -7 with a 35 sidewall tire you will crack barrels 100%. I’ve been running -10 plus camber on my last two builds and once I stopped running 35s and switched to 40s I’ve never had problems. Very confident due to experience. Ig: Saucin_s2k
Wheel rebuilding isn’t hard. People get scared when they buy wheels and they are cracked. I learned by myself and took my own apart. You can flip wheels like that
Those tires are stretched so unsafely you're going to kill someone one of these days or injure yourself due to your lack of knowledge it might look cool but it is super unsafe your not the only person on the road
How the hell did you end up here??? Also. If you see this vehicle out and near you just whip your wheel towards the curb and floor it and go home to be safe.
@@j.a.r.family2576 well when he or someone with unsafely installed tires kills ur kids standing on side of road or takes a car load of people out that's were I Com from reality any one with half a brain can see the tier isn't seated on the bead wat would I know tho I only installed tiers fr allmost 15 yrs everything from small passenger vehicles to transport trucks tires are supposed to be installed by licensed personnel

Proud of you dawg!!! Good job, I wish you could’ve done all the work on a Spinna to make your life easier, but next time though hopefully! 🖤
I actually like the way it sits now with a very slight forward rake
Already know this is gonna be good.
Damn I bet @aidanmt 's "The Spinna" would have helped a ton in this situation lol
Fr 👏🏽
Glad she's back together, I can't wait to see that front end swap get started!!
Keep pushing man , can’t tell you how excited I was since you posted the front end conversion! Looking forward to that video !
Love the look of that LS, hope you fix the wheel issue. I'm really looking forward to the Century front end.
Honestly the little rake you got is nice. You can have passengers in the rear now easier probably!
Bro, those wheels are fkn slick!
That stretch is insane, 245s on an 11in wide tire 🤯
Not that insane of a stretch tbh
Awesome! I've always wondered how 3 peice wheels go together. Thanks for sharing! :)

Fender to lip would look soo clean as well.
Keep up the videos, I got a '98 Black interior black exterior LS that's slowly rising in value with each video.
Good job mike! Cant wait to see you cruising
keep up the hard work my guy, the content you make for all channels is sick.
Tbf I’m rebuilding my splits atm and this was really helpful. Thank you
50psi pump those numbers up man those are rookie numbers
subscriber here since you joined LZMFG
I love these wheels man definitely a great video
Glad to see the car back on these skreetzzzz
Mike: I'm gonna switch to less of a stretch
Also Mike: goes from a 255 to a 245
Everybody: 🤦♂️
i wish the faces were more recessed like most VIP wheels
When you add new stuff / repair stuff like this... you owe us a roller tax. =]
I'm too poor for a 3 piece wheel, but it was fun watching you work on them
Heck yeah
Has your thumb ever been broke? It bends really far back. Anyway. Your content is dope and I love the LS
When’s that hoodie drop? Ya boi needs one once his LS is out of the paint booth.
Shoutout Aidan
The Spinna
You can fix that barrel, just sand the area down flat, weld, sand down flat again, reweld and keep doing it, both on the inside and out
Looks good!
What’s the link to the beat used when yhu was taking the tire off?
Anyways the car is hella clean mike can’t wait for the front end swap!

Lovely video
That is fkng Fine 🤩 it's gonna look nicer with the Century swapped front end 💯
Question. Couldnt they make a steel inner barrel that would be a bit more durable for the setup youre running?
Needs more psi bro like at least 75 psi I run my ls tires at 75-80 psi with -12 camber helps push it up off the sidewall some
Better only a weekend brain, i have it everyday😂
Might be late to my date but gotta watch the video
HI-CHEW for the win!
Yay! Vip builds 🤙🤙
Put the same tire on the front it's still slammed... just a little less scrape
Dude reverse the faces on those bad boys and have 8 inch lips 🤣
Hey where did you get those center caps?
I'm trying so hard to get an LS400 or an LS430
Best way to do it is with ur finger. Wet ur finger and smooth the caulk. Then it looks perfect and don't stick to ur finger.
10/10 video
IDK how many times I've made a bigger mess with some type of gunk than I expected. Prepare and then prepare some more for the unexpected mess!
Convert the soarer to a drift car!
are you going to leave the suspension like that?
Lets goo
Should have put some bead sealer on the rims
Dream car 😍

@@peterf557 hey thanks for the reply! That's cool to know!
wait did you leave the tape on when you put the tires on
No need to throw the wheels on a dial meter to make sure they're true?
I remember seeing an IG post where you told people these were welded 3 piece wheels 🤔
New vlog♥️🔥
Is the IS on washers?
hello friend the wheels of the lexus ls 400 are 18 inches I would like to know congratulations your Lexus is the most beautiful I have ever seen
Hey Mike, can you recommend some deathcore songs? Recently I've been really into Angelmaker
R u gonna bag it at some point?
He's going for static vip i doubt he will end up bagging this he wanted it to be this way
Gotta fix that rake 🥴
Waiting for operation manual swap 😂
Nice
What is this wheel?
What happen with your mini RS6? You left it up north?
Gave it to my brother because his car died
😍
Don’t stop at 50 psi 60 plus is ideal trust me plz
Maybe raise the just little bit

Mike I like you but at what point do you realize that being that low is not worth the hassle of everything that goes rong
Hooo ha mike weekend brain
First 30 seconds I see the rs6 is hurting your back as well. Just an uncomfortable car i guess.
Omg those tires have so much tread left. At least give them to someone for a non camber car
this is not manual swap part II... smh my head
wudda been the width not the sidewall height. 35 is fine lol
rebuild the stocks into 3pc 🥴
