Hey man, thank you for posting this stuff along with your ACL journey. Overshot a landing this early season and tore mine. Was literally crying today because I had to tell my 8 year old son I might not ever be able to hit jumps or rails with him again. All the ACL recoveries I see on YT are people who ski in a way that doesn't come with a lot of impact. Seeing you eat flat landings and awkward transition and suck up bumps with the knees is the first thing that's made me hopeful in the last month.
Ah bummer man. It a tough road and at times it seems a long ways away but stay positive and put in the work with rehab and it’ll come along. Mine sucked I had a few complications after surgery and it took way longer then I expected to get back to 100 percent but two years later it feel stronger then my other knee! Good luck and hope you crush the rehab!
Yeah these trails have been officially cut from the resort about 2 years ago I think, even before that they still had boundary signs there all the time which I guess kinda sucks. But also it's kinda nice cause they have the boundary signs up which will drive alot people away from this trail even on a powder day.
I can't wait until you get to Blackcomb #28 "Krakatoa". I've been eyeing that one up for years, thinking to myself "You gotta either be crazy or Stan Rey to ski this line!"
Gee dude, you made what would have ended my ski season and destroyed any ego look absolutely flawless and easy about 10 times per minute there, bud.

Hey Stan, love the series! I have a quick question - how come you like to have your bindings on the QSTs 2cm forward of recommended?
Woow saw your video makes me wnana try too
:40. “Sidehilly, off camber, logs, creeks”. That sounds like fun to me! Smooth, wide open runs are boring!
You're not wrong!
