Hey all! Thanks again for all the support, just wanted to share some links to the artbooks I mentioned in the video as I get LOTS of questions about them.
And they're affiliate links so hoping on and making a purchase shoots a kickback to us here without costing you anything!

These are terrific! Really impressive stuff. It's going to be an amazing army!
Thanks man, I'm genuinely really excited for it! Now that I have the rank and file done, stuff's going to get weirder :P
Brilliant work, these conversions look great painted up!
Thanks! Was tons of fun... Want to make more now :P
Fantastic video mate! Really love these angmar orcs. I recently converted 36 generic orcs but this video makes me want to go back and do an angmar specific project like you have done. Keep up the awesome content!
Yah converting orcs is the best! most of my Mordor Force is conversions too, but mostly just GW pieces so they don't look as different as these!
Thanks!
These guys look amazing!
How is this not more popular. Crazy cool.
I guess im just new :P
Really nice paintjobs! I normally hate painted eyes, but these are great.
Thanks for uploading.
Thanks for watching :P
You just got a new subscriber sir. Those guys look fantastic!
Noice! Thanks man!
just discovered the channel from Wesfalia sharing the review vid, and i'm glad they did, you've got some really great content here! this is a really neat project, love that you've made a series on it, these kinds of things really help me with my own motivation.
one thing to note, the primers you used were a satin finish which could be the cause of it being thicker than you wanted, from my experience matte primers tend to work a lot better than any other type of finish.
That's awesome to hear, glad you like it.
And yah 100% I usually do use matte primers usually but I jsut like the colours on this one so much!
I've used it since then too and it's working better now, just need a lighter trigger finger :P
Just wow. Now i'm a bit jealous.
Lol! Thanks!
Very nice, descriptive video. Informing and practical. Thanks Andurz
Thanks man!
Yay! So glad to see this in my feed :)
Thanks! Need to get more regular with my uploads :P
Absolute stunning work! Great job! :) I love the Angmar/Arnor Lore, currently working on my Arnor forces...
how did you paint the pale ork skin? I’ve seen some are more greyish and some are more bone coloured. Which colours/techniques did you use to achieve these looks?
Cheers and keep up the good work! :)
All the same techniques just varried the base colour! The palest was palid whych flesh (never know how to spell that :P) and i washed it with reikland fleshshade, then agrax earthshade, before highlighting back up.
And thanks!
This is so awesome, I think some white fur coats and some red/light blue cloth would help the models pop but your gritty look that you have is fantastic as well! Very Tolkien looking to me!
Thanks! And yah I definitely have bits like that on the heores and special characters like wraiths and barrow wights and it definitely helps them stand out from the horde!
Your models look fantastic.
Thanks so much!
Great video! I always paint my eyes light to dark and I have a very hard time with it I’m going to try it your way, thanks for the tip
Thanks man! And yah i used to two but switch to the other way as I found it way easier to fix mistakes with, as any excess black in the sockets just looks like shading
These are incredible! What was used for the shamans head. Shade looks awesome too
Thanks! And it's a skull from the gw skull kit on the shaman, amazing kit.
Fantastic work man. I always wanted to do vidoes on my armies/convertions but I keep forgetting to film.
Thanks man! And yah, filming hobby stuff is like a whole hobby in its own right :P
@@AndurzTalksHobbies I can imagine editing taking hours. Can't wait to see more!
@@jmaccsarmiesofmiddleearth oh yah! and making sure I have all the different shots I want. But I really like it, as my other big love is movies and I've always liked editing.
@@AndurzTalksHobbies Well I think you've nailed the formula, keep it up :)
@@jmaccsarmiesofmiddleearth thanks! Will do
Great stuff! What models did you use?
Thanks! And a bunch of different stuff, show the whole process here : ruclips.net/video/PtC9NCJub_s/видео.html
Did you ever get to painting your secret Ringwraith’s? Those were some awesome conversions.
lol not yet :P I was waiting on some bits I needed for the last one to come in and they actually just arrived a couple days ago! So should have some updates in the next bit on those
@@AndurzTalksHobbies oh cool! May you rattle the hearts of men with the terror that is Angmar!
@@JustinBrown-gh9vv That's the plan! maybe a bit winged terror... eventually :P
@@AndurzTalksHobbies I started a similar orc army recently. Only difference I saw was I used kings of war orc bodies in the mix, which really gave them some personality. Top heavy with a hunchback. Threw some erewhon heads on and now we got some serious goblin ranks. I liked the hobbit, but I prefer to make my own designs. Nothing against Jackson and the crew, I just want an Azog’s legion with my own spin. lol
@@JustinBrown-gh9vv love it! Sounds awesome! Im actually on the look out for similar hunchback looking bits, but to make smaller orcs for warg riders... The search for bits never ends :P
Thank You! :D best regards, Trash... ;)
You're welcome I suppose!
Bro these look excellent
Thanks!
