P()----> Area less than z value
R()----> Area greater than z value
Q()----> Area between 0 and z value
If anyone is wondering how to do something like P(-2.8 < Z < 1.4) = 0.9167
the step for that is shift stat/dist, distribution, p, then do P(1.4)
then do the same for P(-2.8)
The final answer is whatever value you get for P(1.4) subtracted by P(-2.8) which should end up being approximately 0.9167
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
Bless You!
thank you so muchhhh!!!!
thx Danny
God bless you
...And when I saw the table in the stats lecture I thought, yeah right there has got to be a better way, all that messy interpolation. My exams are 8 weeks away and I will become a Jedi Master in this...Presentation wise you are absolutely spot on. I don't know why the heck the tables are needed. Am I going to do the Exam on the same island Tom Hanks was stuck on in Castaway, yeah throw in the abacus while you're at it. lol!
No you don't need an abacus, Just come with your table and chair 🤗
Thank you! There are almost no videos on using this calculator. Your awesome!
Thank you man you're work is sick and is helping me a lot
Thanks! I'd like to ask a question, please! How we use the calculator to calculate the z-score if the probability is given?
Still helping till now...
Thanks a lot 👍
Prepping for my Statistics examination tomorrow morning
Very useful. Thank you
awesome!!! understood it quite well!!
It's really amazing how a video which years 6 years old is still helpful. I really appreciate taking the time to make this video. Thanks a lot
Thank you for watching and any support you show for this project.
10 years and it’s still helpful
Awesome explained ...!!!✌️

No problem - thanks for watching.
Thank you so much Sir!
Thank you for sharing the information 😀.
Thank you very useful for my S1 exam on tuesday :)
Good luck
thanks that was a good explanation. Im taking a data class and this helps!
Good video...really helpful
Got a question, Is there a way to do the function Qnorm in the program R, which shows you percentages before a value?
For example Qnorm(0.1) is -1.281 because 10% of the area under the graph is before -1.281.
This is the opposite of p(-1.281) that will give me 0.1.
Thankyou for this amazing video!
That's okay. Thanks for watching.
this helps a lot. thanks, dude!
That's what I like to hear. Thanks and best wishes.
Thank you very much for this.
You are welcome.
Your explanations are far better than my school teacher
OMG THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH
Thanks! This has helped greatly.
Well done. pleased to hear it helped.
This video was very helpful. Thank you! I knew the calculator could do this function. But didn't know how to use it ahah
They can do magic. Glad you get it now.
How do you do this on the fx-991X classwiz. If the video is already up can you please point me to which one it is? Thanks
thnx.. luv u
thank you

thanks bro!! it helped a lot !!!
That's okay - Pleased to hear it helped.
Excellent Video!! Loved It.
Cheers
this is really a great help...thank you and Godbless
Thanks and Godbless to you.
I love having Jarvis teach me how to use a calculator
Is there a way to find the z score with a given probability? I've been trying the fourth option (>t) but it doesn't seem to work right for me
Thank you so much sir ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you.
super ur idea most brilliant
Can you creat playlists of each exam papers since the website is slowing down ?
pls i need a video on using a casio fx 991 plus to calculate chi-square distribuiton
Thank you
how do you use the 4th option t? Thanks
Really needed this for my probability and statistics class, thanks!
Pleased to hear it helped.
Can u please tell how to use t distribution table in calculator
how do I get the z0 (inverse) with this calculator?
HOW DO I USE THE CALCULATOR TO FIND T VALUES, CAN YOU PLEASE SEND ME THE VIDEO WHICH EXPLAINS IT
how to use both plus minus sign at a time
now i understand how to find the probability. but how do i find the n value on x axis if the probability is given. for example: P(Z>n) =0.3015... how do i find n using a calculator? without using a probability distribution table
i dont think u can
How do I calculate the critical value using calculator. P(0
Thanks.
Thank you tonnnnnnns
Thanks bro
Thank you!
That's okay, pleased it helped.
THANKS.
U just saved my head
Thank u sm😭
Your welcome
is there a less than
greater than button?
awesome
Can you do a video about using the t function?
Thank you so much
No problem. Glad it helped.
hi, can you tell me how to calculate slope on different points?
lets say i have eqn " y=25.655+0.575x " i have 10 values of x. how can i do it in my fx991es plus?
Use differentiation in your calculator
Please do as many of these tutorials with this calculator for S1 before the exam on the 10th please.
I agree, this was really useful and I can now see that are loads of useful functions for stats, please make more tutorials! :)
How was the exam and what you're doing in life now? :P
Thanks a lot
🙂
ExamSolutions Can I know how you put the calculator into the video?? I really want to know how! =)
if you think you have the brain power to do maths, then you must know how to find it.
It is an emulator.
Ymx+c how to calculate inverse normal distribution in casia FX-570Es nd Fx-991Es plus
binness knowledge and wisdom are two different things, although related.
Google it. Casio scientific calculator for PC.
But how to get the inverse of this in fx 991 es plus?
Does anyone know any website where we can use this digitally?
Thank u..
Thank you for watching. Glad you got something from it.
hey , can you do poisson distribution for s2 with this ? if so a vid would be brilliant . PS you are my hero
What is the use of fourth one?
can i find value of z(normal variate) if i know the probability!?
This video just saved me
great video, hopefully I pass algebra 2
Hi I like your video
Any idea how to enter this question. “ on investigating The labour efficiency an organisation is found that there is typically a favourable mean of $65000 and a standard deviation of $5000.
What is the probability that the variance is less than $45000?”
is it possible to make a video on finding the "z" value given the probability? Thanks for this video, really helped a lot!!!!!
Only for this calculator where you set the mean to 0 and the standard deviation to 1 www.examsolutions.net/tutorials/inverse-normal-function/?level=A-Level&board=Edexcel&module=Statistics%20A-Level&topic=1840
Thanks so much. Now I don't need to carry normal distribution table
Need help if the given is the area and u will find z how?
thanks sir
Thank you for watching and I am pleased it helped.
Why not just use the Normal C.D function and use the values of the SND? It gives identical answers and I'm assuming I wouldn't lose marks as all the working out is done via calculator anyway.
what apps did you use bro?
This is a Casio Emulator which you purchase from Oxford Calculators
I want to know how to save area formula in this calculator plz can some one help me?
I love u thanks alot
Thanks for watching.
anyone know how to get the 5 number summery from this calculator because mine only shows min & max
How to do it for a non zero mean?
Thankyou
That's okay. Thanks
Thanks a lot. Have you use a ONLINE graphing calculator? Could you be so kind to recommend the application?
This is a Casio emulator available from Casio
Hey GOD BLESS YOU
Are you going to do a series of tutorials on D1 in the future?
I hope to, yes.
thanksss
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
Hi, can you tell how to see t value from fx991ms
U can't bro
We can always calculate these without the calculator, right? Mine doesn't have the functions.
Does the Casio fx-85GT PLUS have the 'Distribution' calculation type?
Hi did you ever find the distributing function? £25 seems a lot to get a new calculator because mine is missing one function
@@AegisMU Did you find it?
@@ChurroCinema nope had to buy a new one. Theyre not too expensive used on ebay though 😌
@@AegisMU Damn my exam only permits the use of the casio 85 model
Does anyone know how to do problems where it’s like: "What Z value has an area of 0.9706 to its right?"
You need tables to answer such :(
How can I find Z when I already have the probability????????
Macron Elmacron you compute it using calculus.
z = (x - μ) / σ
You'd want the invert function of this, which the calculator does not support, so you'd be back to using tables
