Thanks for the vid. A huge draw back of modern casio calculators (even more advanced models like CG50 or Classpad) is that they don't cater for grouped data. This is a nice solution to get the mean of grouped data, but the calculator is not designed for it. Theres no way to get an estimate for the median, quartiles or interquartile range etc. as we cannot input class boundaries. I really think Casio should think about this. A lot of data we collect falls straight into grouped data. Thanks again for the vid.
Thank you very much! I have a Casio fx-9750GII and i didnt set my 2nd list for frequency as it was set for list 1 for frequency stock. This was very helpful with my statistics homework.
What is written above 1 in your calculator and thank you for these helpful videos. My calculator is fx-991Ex classwiz and I am stuck because I don’t know what is written there. TIA
Thank you.. Also I think many people now use the fx-991es Plus calculator, so it might be better using that in tutorials. Nevertheless its doesnt make a big difference
i was a little bit impatient with your videos but its absolutely a saviour. thank yiu
i increase the speed it works
The most helpful video I have ever watched..... In statistics

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Have an exam today and was struggling so much, and this video was my holy grail. Thank you very much!!!!

Thank you very much! I didn't realize that I can't put the whole grouped data on the calculator but instead, calculate the midpoint first.
Absolute lifesaver. Thanks.
thank youuuu!!!! i was doing the order of the midpoint and frequency wrong and didnt know why i was getting the values wrong. but now i know
:)
I’m only a gcse student and learn from this channel.
Thank you so much. I was freaking out because my frequency table wasn't showing
Fantastic, so clearly explained, thanks! 👍
Thank you and thanks for watching
This video is 7 year old and this channel is 15 years old !!!
OMG !!!

Hi! thanks for the explanation. Do you mind to show me how to calculate the Standard Deviation of a Grouped frequency distribution? Thank you so much!
In Stats mode, press Shift 1 for the Statistics Menu, then 4 for Var, then 3 for Standard Deviation
Thanks a lot Sir.Please keep up this tremendous work.
I hope to if I keep getting support.
Calculators keep on Amaizing me
where can I download the graphic calculator that you used?
+Isabel Dawn Salise I purchased it from Oxford Calculators. It is a cassio emulator.
what does it mean the sx in the calculator, it's with X and deviation standard and n ?
Very professional. Thank you.
do i need to know this for the edexcel paper?
seyma melek if you havent been taught this (i haven't) then just go the long way multiplying adding and dividing :)
Could it also calculate the Variance?
Yes. I will be doing a video for this later.
Thank you.. Also I think many people now use the fx-991es Plus calculator, so it might be better using that in tutorials. Nevertheless its doesnt make a big difference
aman singh To calculate variance, you just have to square the standard deviation, which is the #3 in 8:46
ok
what is number 4? i see a lot of videos using 4 instead of 3
that made it longer lol
srsly tho
saved lots of time
Very clear and neat, thanks.
Pleased to hear, thanks.
Could you also calculate the standard deviation solely using this method?
Yes.
To immediately get the standard deviation from the data input, just press "3" in 8:46
This was so helpful, thank you so much!
how can you enter more than 20 values for calculating mean ?
Why would you need that 😭
thAnk uuuu
thanks a lot
Thanks
Life saver
good man!
Thank you
No problem. Thanks for watching.
my calculator is Casio fx-991es plus and I don't find sum, var and minmax
That's because u r not in stat mode. Go to stat mode first.
Do you not lose any marks for not showing your method to get the answer?
You will get the full marks generally if it is correct but the slightest error and you will lose everything as no working can be seen.
i love u so much
I love you
