I love this scene. It shows that you don't have to be a billionaire to afford that ship, it only takes sacrifice, family love and intelligence to be a part of the crew.

What's even stranger is that Tamara's compartment being between Hemsley and the Curtis' compartments was the only one to get entirely flooded. I'm surprised the Curtis compartment didn't get flooded before.

When I saw air force one I was wondering why didn’t they make spaceships or aircraft’s that would either be airborne or in space during the flood and then can reland or come back into the earth atmosphere when the flood is over. These ships were obviously going to be in danger the whole time why not build vessels that would be in no danger at all.
