  • Video: An evening spotting trains at Waterbeach station situated on the Fen Line, with the addition of passing LNER diverts off of the East Coast Main Line to/from London King's Cross via the Fen and Cambridge Lines, due to engineering works between Peterborough and Hitchin.
    Alongside the diverts, this also includes passing and stopping Great Northern services to/from King's Lynn and Ely, as well as many passing CrossCountry and Greater Anglia services.
    TRAINS INCLUDED:
    CrossCountry Class 170 Turbostars, Greater Anglia Class 755 FLIRTs, Great Northern Class 387 Electrostars, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class 800 Azumas.

    Just curious why pick waterbeach. Epuflnt Cambridge north be a better pick. Or are you just going as many stations as possible

    When the class 755 was passing there was a light behind it was that another train coming behind it

    How come the Azumas were in Diesel mode?

      To prevent a power overload in the area, as the 800s use a lot of power from the wires off main line.

      CHOO-CHOO!!Plane Makes sense. There used to be the same restrictions on the Aire Valley lines with the class 91 so they used HSTs though they did allow them through eventually as wasn’t as bad as they thought.
