I'm currently in this situation. I'll choose the HRV RS Turbo instead since the ground clearance is a big factor. I recognize the lack of wireless charger and the Bose sound system. I'll turn to the aftermarket mods to fullfil that lacking feature.
We test both and bought civic s for its power and comfort. Nakukulangan ako sa power ng HRV. its like having a bigger and heavier city. Cons ng civic s - Tire Noise (but you'll get used to it overtime) - Auto light (makakita lang ng shade, nagbubukas na yung ilaw. Also, there's no way to adjust yung sensitivity nya.) - Honda Sensing (if turned on sa traffic, pinapasingit nya lahat) 😂 Overall, happy!
@@miguelbautista2788 Now that you asked, surprisingly, hindi. Based on our exp, sumasabit kami sa vios ng puno ang sakay with luggage sa civic hindi pa naman (going 9 months). Weird. 😅 Pero alalay sa lubak or uneven roads. Siete sa steep ramps and bumps.
Civic's turbo engine vs High ground clearance from the HRV. Both base variants, for me I'll choose the civic from that price point you'll already get the turbo from the RS compared to the HRV which only have the engine from their CITY model.
Hi. I need the second row seats to be upright kasi since I have my kid’s car seat and another passenger sa likod.
i bought the civic. Turbo is a huge factor. Also, may cool factor talaga kapag civic eh ehehehe. Advantage lang talaga ng HRV is yung higher ground clearance. Contrary to the host of the video, yung compartment ng civic is actually very good for its class.
@@rheigel24 i’m having a lot of fun. If di ka naman mahilig mag out of town and alam mo ang mga roads na dadaanan mo most of the time then go ahead. You won’t regret it. I also have the RS and iba ang coolness factor haha
Almost same pricepoint din sila.
Keep up #Philkotse
Between these two, I choose the Civic. Mas may cool factor sya for me, and pwedeng i-mod later on. For a Honda crossover, I'd rather have the CRV than the HRV.
agree, the abundance of Civic's aftermarket parts/mods must be considered as well. just by the brand itself regardless of the generation - iba ang dating pag Civic
Hrv for higher ground clearance, cargo, and more family oriented car despite not having the turbo engine it is already sufficient enough, di naman ako mag reresing resing hehe chill and cool driving lang... got the white s as well
Currently choosing between these two but the HRV Turbo and Civic RS. For first car, what would you recommend? City driving and weekend out of town lang siya gagamitin.
@@itsmypizzapie Good ba bro? how's the fuel consumption and experience so far? Also, like sa review ilan kayo usually sa car? Single pa kasi ko and not planning to have kids pa soon.
Hey bro! Fuel consumption is good, for our case we got the Civic RS from Honda Cauayan Isabela (since doon yung may stock last week). We had an average of 14.6 km/l going back to Manila with a total distance travelled of 423 KM mixed of mountain twisties, highway, and moderate city traffic(we were 2 passengers and had Econ mode ON and occassional hataw not exceeding 4,000 rpm - 2 bars left on gas guage) The Civic RS is our daily car to and from work (Antipolo->Makati-BGC) avg fuel consumption for 1st week of use is around 8-9km/l since madalas heavy traffic along C5 and Ortigas Ext area Haven't tested it sa highway pero per reviews I've seen, nasa 18-20km/l. It will also depend on your driving. Reason why we got the Civic RS over the HRV V-turbo is more on the features (10.2" digital guage cluster, 12 speaker Bose system, wireless charger, 18-inch rims with Michelin PS4 tires, etc.) And the ride comfort + interior space (iba yung ride quality talaga ng Civic) We test drove both numerous times and found out the more you drive it, the more you have more realizations of each unit) This is my 3rd Honda, previously had a 2010 City and 2017 Civic 1.8E.. last car was a Ford Ranger Raptor but sold it after 1 year... iba pa din Quality ng Honda hehe kaya balik kami Civic kasi mas maganda idaily drive :) Remember to pick with what you Love(yes not like), since you will be using this for a long time. Get the HRV if you need higher ground clearance. We also had no problems with the ground clearance(alalay lang talaga sa mga malubak/mataas na parts) Very satisfied with the Civic RS and for us, it was really worth the wait :) Good luck and hope this helps!
@@itsmypizzapie Thank you bro! super helpful nito. We need to finalize na rin since ayoko na paabutin next year haha
i own one (RS), road noise creeps inside in fast speed. that's why may adaptive noise feature yung infotainment (auto adjust music volume based on how fast you're going)
Unfortunately we reserved for a civic S kaso wala inabutan neto hehe V and HRV base na lang pwede iconsider hahaha

crv is way more expensive than hrv

HRV Turbo has the same engine with Honda Civic RS its the other option because many want a higher ground clearance that HRV has.
Nice content!
Mas ok yung ganitong comparo! Good job. New subs because of this.
Mismo🔥
Heres a kicker, the civic has more trunk space than the HRV, and it has a bigger interior too
Very nice comparo!!!!
Phase out na civic s and wala pa ding stocks ng hrv. So medj useless tong comparison na to haha. Still a good vid tho
Magkano po additional payment for HRV?
pumped up kicks!!!!!
Hrv for higher ground clearance, cargo, and more family oriented car despite not having the turbo engine it is already sufficient enough, di naman ako mag reresing resing hehe chill and cool driving lang... got the white s as well
It is out of stock from where I am. Still waiting 😂

HR-V

How about fuel consumption between this 2?
November 11 is the Philippine premiere of 2023 Changan CS55 Plus.
how's the cabin noise of the civic?

Pls compare BR-v, CR-v and HR-v pls
CRV of course!
Hrv is the best😊

Both have hondasensing and Acc But civic doesn't have low speed follow, hrv s have that good for traffic
We chose HRV because of the flooding in manila
Which is which
I’d have the hrv

Oh
I will get the GR 86

HRV.

Ok sana HRV wala naman stock.
O
