All the thumbs downs are obviously people selling the fakes. They are all over Facebook Marketplace

Thank you, excellent information. I just bought a fake pair of 75t (from amzn) and they were not exactly like your fakes, your description of the LEDs helped me know these were fake. The fake ones worked ok as bluetooth earphones, just didn't have the advanced features (like noise cancelization).

I have a pair of the original elite sports and these failed at the most basic features. So I will be returning these. Your video helped me confirm my thoughts. If anything is new and excessively cheap, there's always a high chance of it being fake.
Thank you, I got my self taken for a ride! I will report the seller to Jabra and see if I can get my money back. I used Paypal, so I will contact them and see what can be done. I learned my lesson and won't repeat that mistake!
Way to know is if it doesn't work with the jabra app,wrong led colour and keeps flashing also faulty buttons 🙄 xx
Whoever owns the big container of knockoff Elite 75t buds has moved from eBay to Amazon and is now trying to flog them for $70 a set. I should have known it was too good to be true. Thanks for this video, which confirmed my suspicions. Back to Shenzhen they go!
It makes consumers skeptical when a legitimate item is sold at a good price. I just bought a pair of 75t for $98. The eBay seller assured me they were new, SEALED box and not refurbished .They are original and look new but the fact that he lied about them being sealed should be a warning.

I bought one and then came here investigating when it didn’t connect the jabra app. Unfortunately mine turned out to be fake. I bought on Facebook so couldn’t return however on the bright side i didn’t pay as much so don’t feel too bad.

Thank you I bought mine on wish in all it cost $31 but the app does not gives the features I needed for the equalizer and it speaks to me I guess in Chinese. Well $31 is not as bad as $150 otherwise I’d return them.
I got the same one from ebay. Just googled and reached this video. The seller is located in Singapore, but the item was sent from China. The same features as you introduced in the video: not connecting the Jabra app and apperance. Appreciate the helpful video, saving lots of guys.

The little hole on the backside I found out is a reset button for each earbud. I had problems with the right earbud even after a full reset, then tried a reset on that specific bud and been good ever since. Hope this can help someone. I nearly bought a new set cause I couldn’t find my receipt.

@@nibbax7772 the very first thing is check where the lights come out of. If they come out of the speaker grill(blue and red only) they are fake. Lights should be on the Jabra side.
Next thing is check if they connect to the app. If they do connect, then they are 💯 real.
Same thing - cdiscount in France. Slight differences in the fake but definite differences with the real!
Not sure if it was mentioned on here didn't read all the comments but another tell tale is the name on the case.The real case the name is engraved
where as the fake is just a sticker...
bought trough facebook got the fake but fortunately paid only 50$. dissapointed with the social network which in my opinion should protect the users from these scammers
How about the box? Is there any differences?
The 1st obvious difference between the real and fake that you should've talked about in the first place is the difference of font on the charging box. The real one has "Jabra" writen in 3D. It was quite shocking to have this obvious difference right there in front of our eyes and to hear you talk about various other things. Interesting video though.
How would a person who hasn't had a pair before know whether the font was supposed to be etched into the case or not? Also I mentioned the this in the video either way, it is just not the first sign that would be evident to someone who had bought a fake on accident.

What a useless comment. As Michael stated, if someone was unfamiliar with Jabra products, would have no idea what the right logo would look like.

Hmmmm I don't think so. That's quite fast. They don't fully block out all the sound when I go for a run with them. If all you want is to make sure you can hear the music then maybe look at some bone conductors, or those Bose Sunglasses with the in built bone conductors would be really good 2 in 1.

Yes they are on sale in Malaysia stating it is shop in Singapore selling off excess stock due to CoVid I will try and contact Facebook but as usual they won’t care as they no doubt get paid.

I also bought some from eBay, then the seller was deregistered by eBay, got full refund, then the fakes arrived in the mail. Same deal, did not connect to app, but hey they were free in the end 😄.
I got sold a fake pair off wish and spoke to support who refunded me the full price and I got to keep the fakes. Worth noting

I have the authentic one but they have an issue with the left earbud. After a few months the sound in the left earbud becoming weak or disappear entirely.

Jabra seems to ignore this issue entirely. This is really annoying after paying for a premium product.
You are correct. I ended up buying a pair from wish and then I was pulling my hair because as you said the sound plus app won’t recognise the fake earbuds. Also I found a tonne of other issues. I will see if I can get a refund or else I well pay it forward to someone on FB for free.

So, I just got mine from Walmart. It looks to me it is original based on your video. Thank you for that. However, I am very disappointed. No matter what I do, reset and re start with my Iphone 12pro max, the right side keeps cutting out. They cannot recognize the Sound+ App at all. I gave up and they are going back to Walmart. Figured Jabra is well known name. Going back to some strange names on Amazon which amazingly work and sound superb for the money.
Will the fake one connect to the Jabra App?
I tried to sell sealed new unopened on ebay and buyer told me fakes inside. I'm gutted because they were from Amazon. So without opening how is someone to know for sure?!?! Or if ebay buyer can do a switcheroo and send back fakes also?

Got them from ebay but they said refurbished so I didn't suspect. But the app can't find them even after they have paired to my phone. I'll be disputing this charge.

The fakes I had were also very usable soundwise...however the physical quality and aesthetic wasn't very good. And there was a superiority in the sound quality also.

Are you Able to setup through the sound plus app? Also are you able to connect both the earbuds at same time to you phone? Do you experience frequent disconnection?
@@antarabhattacharya9454 the fakes could not connect to the app. The fakes also were a master/slave pair so you needed to use the right ear and could not use the left ear on its own.

I just received my fakes from WISH, for $45 dollars they work great except for the app. I new for the price they wouldn't be real Jabra

@@RonnieCashman one thing to check in the listing itself is the images shown. If he images show a light on the circle side of the earphones they are more likely to be real. If the lights are Blue and/or red in the images and seem to be coming from inside the microphone grille you can already tell they are fake.

Great job of a concerned , you tuber, looking out for peoples money, buying fakes on the internet...just watched another video, by a person who bought, jabras from amazon and best buy..The amazon jabras, were total shit ripoffs, and best buy , jabras , were the real ones..ive purchased 7 pair of twsz from amazon..bean real lucky so far, getting great quality, with big savings , on most of em...thank you for looking out, and exposing a fake product...

Was the box original though? I'm buying a Jabra Elite 7 Active through someone who is offering it to me for like half the retail price. Sounds super suspicious but the box and everything looks legit.
It looked convincing, but the box wasnt real. The best way to tell is if they pair with the app.
I got scam from third party amazon seller in canada how can i safely process the return bcs seller can say that he didn't recieve the goods or the goods are original what are the precautions i need to be takes please tell me
Report it to Amazon. It goes against Amazon T&C's to sell counterfeit products. Also if you receive a counterfeit product the seller cannot request you to return it because they could then try to sell it to someone else. The product should technically be destroyed. Make sure you get Amazon/PayPal to reimburse you first though. Don't stress, you'll get your money back :)

When you remove the real ones from the case the LED's turn green.

Logo on the case of the fake one is off as well.
Same for me. The case light on my fakes are on the left side, but the light shines through. But the light on the buds are only behind the mesh. And the case is also that weaker type. I am reporting the seller to Jabra and getting a refund from the seller.

Same experience. Wish was selling these for 20USD so I knew they weren't authentic. But they sound pretty good.
@@HasanAli-yk9yk Some cheap earphones are perfectly fine audio wise(but likely to be worse for reliability, longevity etc on average), but I doubt the fakes are as good as similar price or cheaper known good earphones such as QCY.
The fakes are unlikely to share anything with the originals, other than appearance.
I paid almost $300CAD for the Elite Active 75t when they came out here... and the audio quality was okay but nothing to write home about. It never got 7 hours of battery. Sometimes the left earbud would power off randomly. I lost the right for a year shortly after buying they could not replace just the lost part. I just found it... now it's completely dead. It sounds like you got scammed less than buying the real deal.
Bought mine on Facebook for $50, it's a fake one from China, couldn't connect to the apps and nowhere to return :(

The real ones definitely sound better, you can tell the drivers are of a higher quality and the processor on the real ones provides a good audio resolution. The fake ones sound very similar to Xioami mi dots or sol republic amps air if you have tried those before.

I brought mine for 13 bucks of eBay and knew they were fake but the audio worked decent, it cut out about 50 times per day but I can't afford to buy the real ones yet, these will have to do

The real ones are definitely a lot more comfortable, the rubber piece is a slightly different shape and the plastic feels a bit softer.

Yes they sounded very similar to a pair of Sol Republic Amps Air headphones which cost around $100. So they are quite good, as long as you got them for cheap.

Just from the case I could tell the blue ones were the fake ones.
The JABRA logo isn't carved in, it looks printed and the fonts are different.
In the original logo, the letters look more "flat", more noticeable on the "a".
Is there any difference in the box?
It's hard to describe the differences in the box, the writing on the fakes was a tiny bit blurry but overall I don't think you can tell from the box.
What about fake earphones Battery life.?
I didn't do intense battery tests with the fakes, but on light use they would last up to 3 days without charging (obviously putting them back in the case when not in use)
Fake one does not support multipoint connection ( two device connection simultaneously)

When you buy there products you register them through the app and it scans and finds the model so if it doesn't find it then there fake
