Those egg custard tarts looked so delicious and anything with coconut has to be awesome! The prices seemed so reasonable. Thanks for sharing some of the beauty of the city, as well.
Hi Both... You back in Malaysia?... O wow... Welcome back "home"... Ipoh is indeed a food haven.. U made a perfect choice... Wishing u a happy visit n do Take care. Cheers!! Chris❤❤
Thank you so much for your comment and support, Josie :) We love being able to share our food adventures with you, it means a lot that you enjoy them as well 😊
Food that’s close to my heart and home! Malaysia’s local delicacies are truly tasty. That curry mee looked bomb - I do like dry noodles too, and I could almost imagine what it tasted like, with that spicy, slightly gritty mouthfeel from the rempah!
Mmm Feng, dry noodles are legit our fave 🤤 the curry mee was sooooo good, you would have loved it 😋 we love Malaysian food so much, it's always so good
@@HungryTwoTravel stephs right fried noodles are better than wet. I noticed her initial heat fright turned into the glassy eyed chilli freak mark weins the crack addict. Your mouth says no but your brain says keep eating.
Wow, you're in Malaysia again! The egg tarts looked so fresh and filled with the custard, I've never seen such filled egg tarts. The bean sprouts looked tasty, I love chinese chicken and rice. I might have to order some after watching this video. And the nasi ganja, was it as good and addicting as ganja??? 😋
Haha good question, Charles 😉 the nasi ganja coconut sambal was honestly so delicious, we could add that to every meal! As for the egg tarts and beansprout chicken rice, both were soo good. The food in Ipoh never ceases to amaze us! Thanks for the comment!
Yum I loved both nasi kandar + when I was in Malaysia, so many flavours, rich + spicy 👌. I was disappointed with egg tarts tho! I thought they would be more sweet like a dessert🤔
going to Malaysia eating Chinese food is like going to India but eating Japanese food its MALAYsia for a reason, we already have an establish SOUTHEAST ASIA cuisinbe authentically from Malaysia itself, not brought by migrants or British labour workers explore the outskirt of the cities where majorities reside, traditional local night market to find food that are synonym to Southeast Asia Malaysia

There's a little obsession with Coconut included in the meals.
Most definitely 😋😉 We love coconut so much, whenever it's included in food, you can't go wrong 🤤
Welcome back to Malaysia!!
Thanks for watching!
I like your video. Welcome back! Do you try the "cham peng" in any chinese food court? cham = coffee mix tea, peng = ice.

Yes, there are so many flavours and dishes in Malaysia, it's endless!! 😋🤤
You should have added a little of the ginger chilli's to go with the poached chicken. It tastes even better with the chillis!😊
Mmm yes good suggestion! Next time 😉
Welcome bacj

Except Chinese Malaysians make up 1/4 of the local people, and Japanese make up next to none of the local Indian people 😉
certainly you can smell that nasi ganja aroma on your hand later on. it can stay for days. hahah
Haha so true, and it's amazing, isn't it?!
