As far as store prices, yep, I find it hard to believe that it's not a tactic these stores use because they know the majority of people will not check to make sure they are paying the advertised prices. Here in the states, health insurance companies do it as well. They will deny a claim that should be covered because they know that statically, most people will not contest it. It may be just a few dollars or even less but, multiply that by hundreds of thousands of customers and you're talking a lot of money. ....... Ok, I'll step down off my soap box now. Sorry for the rant on an otherwise cheery, uplifting NarrowboatWill vlog. 😁
It seems all big companies have lost honour and integrity over profit. They do it on purpose in my view.

We aren't employee's anymore, we are assets that are bought at the lowest price possible, demand the maximum amount of output out of while putting in the bare minimum of money and resources possible to keep us running. ... well $hit, sorry but you got me on my soap box again...lol...

Hi William. I have a question . My boat has a bmc 1800 engine with a prm gear box. Last time I took the bolt of gear box to check oil level the dip stick had fallen into the gear box. Has not caused any problem but do you know the distance from bolt to correct oil level? Bit random I know
I don't mate. I'm not at my boat at present. Otherwise, I could measure it. Best thing to do is drain it and put the correct amount back in. 👌
Great vlog Will hope you enjoy the link did it many years ago on a friends Norman 23 ,I'm now back on the Lanky and I thought I'd let you know as far as I know the only canal side diesel apart from petrol stations is Moons Bridge there's a newish marina near Bilsborow but I'm unsure about that , Filty thumbs up take care.😊

Clouds part, sky is littered, clouds back lol. It's like an oops moment behind the theatre curtain. As for Morrisons I actually complained to head office a few years ago. After noticing every time we went the prices were wrong. I genuinely think it's an on purpose policy. We started to go a lot less but whenever we do purely for convenience as it's the nearest store. I'd say 99% of the time something costs more at the till than the shelf price says. Tbh it's an automatic thing to take photos of the shelf price so the cashier says no that's the cost. So I can just say, really?! Mind I literally only go now if its nearly 10pm and I need a shop quick. Never had that experience happen at anywhere but Morrisons 🤷

know what you mean about driving , my hubby hates it as well , too many potholes & cameras & police camera vans as well , that was a hell of alot of weed that leon pulled out ,& on top of that pouring down with rain , Lovely NOT .

Everyone said the locks were hard down there but found them no worse than other wide locks to be honest. Swing bridges were a pain in the bum solo though! Nice to see it again 👍

That pricing fiasco is always happening at the Co Op too. Really angry about being charged totally different price from the label on the shelf. I'm sure they do it on purpose.
I feel that honour has gone from big business. You have to catch them at it, or they'll rip you off. What a shame it's come to this.
First off...
A big filfy Fums Up.
Now about pricing. The biggest culprit is Morrisons with all the others prone to it and you have to watch them like a hawk. Aldi are equipped with clever centrally programmed electronic price tags on their shelves which makes a positive difference. I never rush my buying as I walk around with a notepad and pen and I log everything I put into the trolley and the price. I add up as I go along. Long winded I know, but I'm ready for when I'm checking out. So far I've yet to find the pricing problem in Aldi, but Morrisons.... Oh my goodness! I'm 73 and they even age challenged me once when I bought some drinks. To be fair, it was a very young girl, obviously working strictly on orders

I was just typing 'Sky lark' as your brain activated 🤣😂 they always remind me of walks with my Dad when I was a little Pirate and him explaining what different birds were and things around me. I am sure you can claim from the Council if your vehicle gets damaged by a pot hole, would need photos etc though, maybe more hassle than its worth.
The pot hole was full of water. To stop and get a photo, then prove it was that it was just too much hassle Tim. Skylarks are a good sign of warm weather for me..👍👍

At the very least you show exactly what life is like living on the canals.. You have always shown the upside and downside of life on the canals.
Will you mentioned pot hole damage to vehicles.?? Perhaps people are unaware that the council in the area it occurred are responsible for the repair bill.for your vehicle.
They carry insurance for pot hole damage.to vehicles..a ruler to show the depth of the hole and a few photos..and put in a claim for damages.???
People are not doing this that is why councils are not fixing the pot holes in Thier areas..
Anyway will keep smiling mate I noticed that Leon is with you on your journeys.. which is always nice to see.
Families have a tendency to drift apart these days.. however this is only my option based on what I have seen over the years.
The place I am now living are mostly . retired older people..who only get family visiting them on their birthday or at Christmas..
Its sad to watch ..if only they knew how lonely they are perhaps they would make the effort to visit them more..
