WE NOT TOUCHING GRASS WITH THIS ONE BOYS! Having great audio can make the gaming experience a lot more enjoyable. But when people ask what the best gaming headphones are, a lot of the time they're looking for something to help them play better in a competitive FPS game. But having a good piece of gear won't make you play better. In reality the "best" gaming headphones don't exist. However some are well suited to making gaming a lot more fun. Check the video out to hear my three recommendations for excellent sounding headphones that just so happen to be great for gaming.

The best part about being early to a video is watching the view count rise
love your videos I'm subscribed , I'm looking at Fiio FT5 and Beyer dynamic Tygr 300r for immersive single player gaming . I have an amp Fiio k5 pro
Guys, the purpose of Gaming headphones are to be a multi tool. It provides good sound quality, a microphone built in, do not need an external audio interface, some are WIRELESS which provide more comfort to be able to listen to music or the game while you have to step away for a second. They are not for having the BEST Audio because if they were they would just copy studio headphones. Even then there are some gaming headphones that sound just as good as some studio headphones they just need some EQ of your liking.
The best headphones are good headphones, period. Just buy a good desktop microphone on the side (most people will get USB, but XLR mics through an interface sound THE BEST).
My first moment of enlightenment was playing Black Ops 4 Zombies through a pair of Grado 80X - the soundstage and imaging made it so I could hear the zombies all around me and pinpoint where they where. It was amazing. Currently I am on Grado 325x, which is just an incredible workhorse through both my desktop amp (iFi Zen Can 2) and my portable dac/amp (Dragonfly Cobalt). I would need to spend a ton of money to get anything better than this.
Oh man Grados. I absolutely love the way Grados sound. I own the sr-325-X myself and it's easily one of the best sounding headphones in my collection. But I CANNOT use them for gaming because they're also the least comfortable headphones I have ever tried. I'm impressed you can wear Grados for long gaming sessions 👌
@@TenshinSound The S-Pads of lower end models do the trick for me in comfort and still sound great. Been eyeing some Dekoni pads for the ultimate upgrade, though.
i get what you're saying, i think cans can improve your playing if you're already super competitive, but they won't do much of anything for a casual player. i'm not much of a gamer, i'm more a music listener. i love my senny hd-6xx and my older than dirt akg k340
I'm using a samson Sr850 plugged into the fiio e10k olympus 2 and a fifine k669b with a boom arm..endgame stuff
The SR850 was one of the first audiophile headphones I owned. I think it's a pretty decent headphone for the money. But as I got more into the hobby I realized it's treble was a bit too much for me. Glad you like it though!
@@TenshinSound I'm looking for something else but don't know what to buy.ive been using these things for many years.i want, something with just as good clarity and bigger or same sound stage.I live in south africa.maybe throw me a few suggestions there that i can research.I play apex legends mostly
I liked dis one, too :DD
