ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I love this new Vision, I like it a lot more then the previous versions.
I did like the metallic ones look, BUT felt it was WAY too short and didn’t scale for me good enough with Wanda and the other Classic Avengers. I like the Vulcan build better for Vision as well on how it fills him out.
Now I just want them to remake a classic Yellowjacket.
Think the recent Diamond Select Vision blows this out of the water.
That figure can’t pose to save its life though. Aesthetics aren’t everything IMO

I have to say that this took over my retro card vision on my avengers display because of the new Vulcan body mold and the head sculpt. I love this figure.
EASILY the best Marvel Legends Vision IMO. Even if somebody subjectively prefers the metallic colors of the last release, these flat colors are MUCH more comic accurate and t this large body mold cuts a more heroic silhouette

Yeah, I pretty much agree. I do like the metallic one so much more. I understand it’s a comic inaccurate preference, but I like it more.

Man yeah, the boot and wrist cuffs, that shit needs to be clean if they wont bother to do real cuffs, and the greens being all different just kills me. That headsculpt is so amazing though and I do like the black line work on the new one more and how it isn't all straight up and down the body like the retro. I actually still never opened my retro and havent had my avengers on display for a while so yeah I may wait for a lower price just for the head

Is anyone else having some issues getting the cape peg in the peg hole? Like, I can’t like it up right, and it’s like it won’t fit in all the way? I’m not sure if I’m just misaligning it or what
Any thoughts on painting the white eyes black to make it more comic accurate?
Wasn't able to pick up the retro carded Vision so the only one I have is the Hulkbuster BAF version....which is not my favorite look...so Im kinda hyped for this one despite the lazy reuse of the Vulcan arms and legs....that seem is rough and cheap looking.....would've liked to see sculpted boots and gloves or even a thin glued down overlay to get rid of the seem but at least its the look I like and if I can find a soft goods cape for him with a wash and a little work he'd be alright at least until Mafex makes one
Love the way the whole top half of the select cape looks. None of the legends did it that well.
I'm not really into comic figures. I didn't really read comics growing up. The mcu got back into marvel. It sucks the mcu fell off as bad as it has after endgame. I hope they're able to turn this around for the upcoming series of movies

I need a new vision. My current one has a bum leg 🦵 😢. A small piece broke off, and I'm not sure where it went. Anyway, I was going to skip the baf until my son said he loved the way it looked. So now I'm going to buy the entire wave. Just like I did with the mindless one wave.
“Okay” is pretty much how I would describe it as well. “Definitive” is how I wish I could describe it…and at this point in the life of the line how I SHOULD be able to describe it.
I used to think I preferred the metallic paint on the Retro card Vision, but in truth, that is not really true to the comic art. So excited to get my hands on the new Vision. Shame about the Vulcan body seams on the forearms and calves though...

I got mine reluctantly as well, for the same reasons. I already have the retro carded one. This one falls to me. A little too bulky, the cape really hinders articulation. Good for those that can't afford the retro one though. I swapped out the capes and this one does look better with the retro cape for sure.
It's a good looking figure, best Vision so far probably, but once you notice that the greens don't match, the cheap painting, no accesories,... I don't know.
I was really excited for this figure but the hard shell cape really ruined the fun factor for me. He will probably go up on the shelf never to be picked up again. Maybe I can find a cloth goods cape for him. If I got that and trim his arm pegs, I could have a lot of fun with him.

All the other Visions are too short, except for the Select. which is slightly too tall, but I make the excuse that he is an android. I may have to pick up this Legend Vision anyway.

Is this a new release figure? Because I thought Hasbro wasn't doing window packaging for their Marvel Legends anymore unless they were in the Retro cards

Love this vision. The metallic paint was cool but we get pinless joints, new cape, new beautiful head sculpt and vibrant colors. I dont get the worship of older figures.
The painted on details ruin it for me. They probably have gloves and boots they could have used for the body, amd theres enough of a gap in the chest to glue in a diamond. The head is nice, the rest is just lazy.
What annoyed me about this figure was that his extra hands are HUGE. Literally bigger than the 7” scale MS version’s hands
Those painted boot and glove tips look absolutely terrible. Not only that but it makes the figure look cheap. The head sculpt is nice though. Best one out the bunch.

Me personally, I do need a vision for my avengers display but to be honest I rather wait until hasbro steps up their game.
They couldve done so much more to be honest, an angry head with a laser piece, air brushing even add separate pieces for the gloves and boots like the select version and no double ab crunch sucks. I'll pass.

The reason nobody has said that is because it’s comic accurate. Maybe you think the design itself is inherently ugly, and that’s totally fair, everybody has a right to their opinion. But you can’t blame Hasbro for sticking to the source material

I personally applaud Hasbro though for saying try to the design regardless of whether or not it’s ugly.
