I really appreciate that. I honestly don't know what shield that was - I have a whole box of Cap figures and I just pulled one. It was the one I was using when recreating all the Secret Wars covers. Look for a Spidey Villains shelf video coming soon!
All I need to finish up my own Avengers display is to get is The Iron Man retro carded She Hulk, the Void BAF wave classic Vision, Target exclusive Astonishing Ant Man, and of course Sky cycle Hawkeye with that very cool Clint Barton Hawkeye masked head sculpt.
Avengers is always a fun team to see people come up with displays for. There's so many members with so many looks across so many eras that thers's a lot of flexibility with which characters/figures people choose to add. I think this is a solid team here!
Awesome display as always Carbon! A few more Avengers you could add are War Machine, Spider-Man, and Dr. Strange. Those are essentials for my Avengers, but I also have too many essential members. 🤣🤣🤣
I love this display! I love that it's the truly classic team. For me, being the old school fan, I don't count anyone after issue 500, the destruction of the team.
I've got a pretty mini display for my Avengers. I've got a Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Spider-Man fighting Ultron. I'm trying to get the Thor vs Destroyer 2 pack but I'm waiting for a sale on that because $60 is a bit too much. I also really want to get the Hawkeye and sky cycle set eventually. Great video, it was awesome seeing your Avengers through the eras.

love the vid at the end you ask who would you have included and a little fix there isn’t much variety as most of the figures are just Hank I’d personally remove some of them and replace em with more members so a more diverse collection is created representing other members
I hear that for sure - he takes up a bunch of slots, but he also is a founding Avenger, his story is directly tied into Avengers history and those Giant Man/Goliath figures really provide some height to the display and balance it out I think
if you ask me, you should've used the marvel select panther if you wanted that 70s blue panther look, although I'm not sure if they scale well as I dont have one on me btw hasbro really need to make a classic mantis and swordsman
Hmm this is tough.. though my favorite Avengers lean more heavy on the New Avengers with some of the classic Avengers as favorites. I didn’t get into comics until High School where I started picking up on some stories and even enjoyed the likes of the civil war event.

I'm not Pym's biggest fan either, but I've been a fan of Scott Lang and Cassie since the A-next days and have been looking for an excuse to use the two-pack Hasbro gave us, plus I've been really enjoying the Al Ewing run of books. I also just like the idea of big Hank surrounded by Wasp, Ant Man, etc. That said, not sure if I'll get a response, but I'll ask just to see: If you were going to do such a display, who would you include? I'm trying to keep to one Identity per character (though not one of each identity, since I'd love to have Janet and Nadia as both Wasps) so just the one Hank Pym.
If you can get that Toy Biz Ant-Man, I think that is the best Pym Ant-Man, the new one is much more Lang. I think if I was doing this display, I’d include Jocasta and Ultron as well! Thanks for watching and good luck!!!

amazing. would had took out Mockirbird and Black Knight because they are from before or after this era, and put in my Avengers that are from Avengers 141 (first Perez) to Avengers 202 (last Perez in classic run) the missing members from this era on your display are: Beast, Jarvis (yep I count him), Mantis, Moondragon, Starfox and Swordsman

Well, I have, as many know, a 76 member Avengers Team. That's 5 Hank Pym, 2 Scott Lang, 2 Carol Danvers, 7 Customs, soon to be down to 6, and 3 Fudges.
I suppose my personal Avengers display is going to be a bit of a hybrid of classic costumed core Avengers from the two seasons of Earths Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers that appeared in the old arcade game Captain America and the Avengers, and any stragglers that have a strong enough connection to Ultron and the Ultron Unlimited storyline. Currently the only ones I can think of that I'm missing is a decent Thor (I'm torn between the 80th version and Ragnarok), Carroll Danvers (I'm thinking of getting the new Warbird that should be coming out, but I really want the costume used in the show), a giant sized classic Giant-Man (don't know if I should get the Toybiz or wait for the Haslab as both are going to be a bit pricey from what I've seen), and I'm still waiting for my 80th hulk and family matters 3pack to arrive.
Is the iron patriot a custom? I know the Norman head is from the mezco Ditko styled goblin, but where was that base body come from, it look really well done by the way!

Agree on Mantis and Swordsman - the Marvel Selects at 7 inches don’t always work (except for oversized guys like Hulk)
I would suggest adding Jocasta, while not formally an avenger, she was a mansion mainstay in the 70s.

Sounds like a great set up - and that is the beauty of the Avengers (and this hobby in general) - you can make it exactly how you want!

I believe it's a figure from the old Iron-Man 1 movie line that had Captain America's colors. "Technically" not a Marvel Legends.

Most of the time, I just hot glue the feet to the stands - I have never had it damage the figure and it provides much more dynamic posing options
