- here I'm just covering the Sony A90j master series and how it runs battlefield 2042. I recorded this is 10bit HDR with the Xperia 1 III. hopefully you enjoy. yes the audio did cut out at the end

Also, colors look MORE SATURATED in the video vs real life. The HDR conversion from the sdr source causes an increase in saturation. When the game comes out in HDR, I will make a video about it.
Hey man great video. Did you have any issues sticking the lights on the back of the tv?
Nope. I took a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol and wiped the back of the tv 2 or 3 times

I did the forced hdr even ninjician mentioned its not bad and imo it wasn't bad just going into the ps5 ans put always on hdr it looks great tbh and doesn't over saturate like changing the color space can also the colors looked great in your video tbh I thought it looks incredible I like a little extra pop anyways lol love the way it looks in sdr on the a90j for this game for sure
Thanks for watching! I'm just happy my new phone has a sensor that can pick up on the image alot better. My Xperia 1 mark 1 just can compete with the mark III
@@SpencersStuffTV bro it's way better I like this and most people will like it more since it actually captured the color you have to remember thats a perk of the a90j tbh alot of oled tvs didn't have the brighter colors this one can get its not oversaturated its actually perfectly saturated and tbh this game looks so good in sdr I wouldn't even care about hdr haha sounds crazy but it's true but the hdr on the ps5 isn't bad was shocked it didn't add anything crazy just added some depth

@@reviewforthetube6485 it was a bit too saturated for my liking. But all in all I think it did well. I hopefully can start making more videos soon. Filmic pro allows for full 10 bit hdr so I can finally do more. This file was almost 10 gigabytes in size which is wayyy more than anything I ever uploaded before
@@SpencersStuffTV hell yeah man I'm so happy you were able to capture it without it getting blown out that's huge. So many people didn't actually get to see this tv from so many videos as it loves getting blown out over videos. I love you were able to actually show it off. Alot of people will love this video not joking. We need more videos like this I'm working on one myself it should be uploaded soon I finally got a good camera so I'll be doing some videos. Haven't done one with my a90j yet so the one I'm going to upload will be nice.

Hi. What do you suggest? Wait for TVs of 2022, or buy this beauty A90J? I saw live C1, G1, A80J and A90J, and the one of Sony's idk....they have something more, i'd appreciate more their panels... ofc the one from LG's are more ready for gamers, but still the PS5 doesn't support VRR, neither this TV. Do you think it will be available soon, or later this year? Too many question in my head. Thank you for the answer in advance. Ciao
I think Sony will likely release vrr this year. Personally I don't see much of a jump in terms of TV's for 2022 so the a80j or a90j could be a great option for the price. I personally am not an LG tv owner myself, but I've heard good reviews. I just really like sonys image processing over lg's for general content

Hey, I enjoy your videos. So, I’d size and price weren’t a problem, would you choose an 83” A90J over a 77” of nah other model, including the A80J? I’m just concerned that at 83” I’d be losing sharpness and depth.
I have seen the a90j and a80j. I would say you're getting 90% of the picture quality of the a90j with the a80j. It depends how close you're sitting. I don't imagine you lose depth of sharpness at distance. I would recommend checking out whisper status 74. He always says to go bigger
@@SpencersStuffTV Yeah, the 83” at Best Buy just looks so epic and cinematic, plus some deeper coloring I didn’t notice on the A80J. And the biggest difference I hear is that the A90J’s biggest advantage over A80J is in HDR highlights. I also hear opposing opinions that A90J can’t do near-blacks as well, and some saying it does them better. Eh, if I’m not happy with A90J performance I could just downgrade to A80J I suppose.

@@SpencersStuffTV Yep. And I’ll definitely wanna get it pro-calibrated as well, because if you’re spending this much already you might as well get the best out of it.

Everything has been fine! Just haven't made many videos. Unfortunately my internet at home is slow and I'm living with my parents and sister until I can buy a home/finish paying off my loans so money has been tight. and for the size of these videos it takes a LONG time to upload.

How is the ABL while gaming on the A90J?
I heard the screen forces dimming even with gradation preferred selected and is off-putting compared to the C1
It's fine. The only game I had issues with was Madden and sports games, but it's not too distracting. But all in all it's not bad or distracting really.
