As a student host for his recital at Bangor University recital in 1964, I met this affable figure descend from his train at Bangor N Wales UK .Putting me immediately at ease with a big smile , he asked "Do " they speak Welsh here"?
He is someone not comparable with any other violinist or musician, someone who leaves his real individuality shine...without adapting to others opinions etc. Straight mind and pure heart!!! I' ll love and adore him for all time and forever. I would have to cry from missing him, seeing him again in this video, but I dont, cause I know he is living eternal, just not discernable for us here now.

As a music undergraduate ,I had the life- changing good fortune to host him for 48 hours during his recital visit to North Wales Bangor University Arts Festival in 1964. All I can say ini summary , is that it was the most exquisite experience , both of before and since.
@VargaViolin Amazing. She is obviously a gifted student (I wish I played half as well!) and yet on just two measures, what she played as just all right, he made sing! And he taught her to do it too in the space of just a few minutes!

I wish i could hear what the Maestro is talking. Such a great Artist musician🙏
the best player violin ever!
This is the opening of the Vieuxtemps concerto no. 5
Played by who?
Nobody can teach without playing to show to student!!Even a musicien like Tibor Varga!
Conductors are often singing ...
too bad that i can not hear what he is saying, because I would understand his francais.
Dommage, on ne comprend rien, trop d'écho...
he was a fantastic musician. but an evil, toxic man.
