Thanks dude, your videos are AWESOME! 10-15 years ago I got deeply into this matter, as I'm Norwegian, and living here would be considered EXTREME for the average westerner LOL

Before TT opened in Tillicum (I think that was where they were based, if not still are), we would use pouches that some other company made, and essentially put on two long side pouches, and one pouch on top of the lid, increasing carring capacity by almost 1000 ci. The side pouches were about the size of the modern sustainment pouches, and the top pouch was a little bigger than one of the 3 large outside pockets on the pack. We used to see how heavy we could get the damned rucks before we either couldnt shoulder them, or they snapped, lol.
And I wonder why my back and knees are shit at 50 years old!!

My brother was in asscrackastian in like 04 or 05. And his buddy bought this thing. Over packed it and was doing something stupid and ripped off the top cover / pouch. He abandoned it. Brand new. He brought it home for me. I had it for years before I repaired it. Rather than stitching, I used wood burner to poke holes then stitched it with threaded grommets, like for a holster tensioning hardware. This thing is a beast. SO much room at 97 liters. I stop when my scale shows +45lbs.

these are damn heavy packs. my favorite surplus, h & b army navy surplus in fort walton beach florida, usually has one or two of these in varying degrees of quality.

    Love it, Brother !!!!
I couldn't find one like that, so I ended up buying a RHINO Ruck from Tactical Tailor.
I also bought their pack frame, but it doesn't have any vertical bars on it.
Some 550 cord fixed that issue.
Keep up the great work !!!

7:03 are those cinching straps the ones for compressing the actual main pack,or just for those removable side pouches?

Nice ruck. I'm definitely a MOLLE guy, but I like this. Limited attachment points and options but then again, it already has so many big pouches and pockets that you pretty much have everything you need in that department sewn on the ruck anyway. That's a good money saver, as you don't really have to buy extra pouches to hold all your stuff. The internal organization with the pockets is something they should have put on the U.S. GI MOLLE 2 large ruck and the ILBE, I'd like those on my rucks. The only real issue I see is where you have 2 side pockets one atop the other sewn on , it seems it might be a pain to get to your bottom pockets because of the ones above them, but I have my large MOLLE 2 set up similarly with 200 round SAW gunner pouches beneath the sustainment pouches and I can get to the extra AK mags on the left and extra gear on the right, so maybe it's not that big a deal. I like rucks that hold more than I can realistically carry, especially as a societal collapse/SHTF bag where your going to be scavenging/looting and more if you have to ( if the world's gone to shit and I need supplies, if I see someone with stuff I need and want, they will probably get a bullet in the back of the head in a desperate situation. Sounds fucked up, but more people would be doing that than would admit it ). All in all I like it. I've seen a couple reviews on it but they didn't go as in depth as you do, showing every feature, thank you and great work
