Thanks for watching this long one. Hopefully it gives you a good idea of how to plan a 10 day Egypt itinerary and why the Nile cruise on a Dahabiya is the best :). If you haven’t yet, sub to the channel at goaw.pl/AwesomeTube
thank you so much for showing us this beautiful country. why does every traveler that I watched on youtube touch the historical monuments???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude this video is sick. I Ended up here through your peak design reviews and as soon as this corona nonsense is done with I'm booking a trip to Egypt. Top content man, nice one. 👏
Wow! I've been watching travel videos from different places and this destination was by far the most exciting one. Goes without saying the video and storytelling were inspiring - awesome job! Have a lot of ideas for a trip to Egypt
I've been mildly obsessed with Egypt since childhood and I gotta say @12:11 looks like heaven and creates an oddly strong emotional response in me Shout out from BC and thanks for all the informative links in the description
thanks for the great full video and letting me relive my own trip there earlier this year. We did everything you did, including Sofra Restaurant. I would return in a heartbeat.
AMAZING video! Thanks so much for putting this together and for sharing it. We're doing almost the same exact itinerary next month so I've been watching videos to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Your video was amazing! So I watched this to give me an idea of the best itinerary. I realize that Alexandria is not what it used to be but it’s my favorite city of all time. Should I skip it?
Glad it was helpful and that you enjoyed it! Alexandria was something I looked into but with 10 days to work with, the dahabiya cruise and what we wanted to see in Cairo and Luxor were just more impressive. I think if we had 2 weeks or more we would've included it.
Very helpful! Thank you! I really need to go on one of those dahabiya cruises now! BUT isn't there an incredible health risk to swimming in the Nile?!? Hoping you stayed well!
I actually didn’t know of the warnings until I got back and someone on here mentioned it. We were totally fine and I think for locals, it’s not something they worry about either. That said, if you want to be super safe, probably best to stay out of the water.
Thanks for sharing this nice video in Egypt We would like to go there in April. Do you think could we go with the tour or without it If with the tour , could you think and Recommende your Thanks in advance
i think i changed my mind about a river cruise.. seems so much more unique than big boats. comfort level.. ac?? or no? DJED looks awesome also.. ive reached out to them
Hi, thank you for this incredible video! I am visiting Egypt in February 2021. I plan to follow your itinerary, except I’m adding a stop in Hurghada. How did you travel from Aswan back to the Cairo International Airport? This would help me out a lot! 😊
This is a great question. From Aswan we caught a flight back to Cairo and from there flew back home. Check out the full itinerary on the blog here: goingawesomeplaces.com/10-day-egypt-itinerary/
That’s certainly possible! If you want more details of cost, head over to goingawesomeplaces.com/things-to-know-before-going-to-egypt-the-travel-guide/ where I share how much this was.
Any specific prices you’re looking for? We have a cost breakdown on our site here: goingawesomeplaces.com/things-to-know-before-going-to-egypt-the-travel-guide/ however it doesn’t break everything down by location or business
Constant background music is a bit annoying. Good visuals and video otherwise... sometimes the visuals are good enough on their own... you dont need the monotonous music
In Luxor we stayed at Villa Nile House and Djed booked that for us. For the full itinerary check out this blog post which has links to Djed as well! goingawesomeplaces.com/10-day-egypt-itinerary/
Egypt is the most dangerous place for tourists in the world. Read up on the recent case of Giulio Regeni, the poor Italian university student who was abducted off the street by egypian police and ended up repeatedly tortured and homosexually raped by the local police chief, before being finally murdered and his body dumped by the same police who abducted him. The real horror is that Regeni was just one, while egyptian lawyers and activists state that at least twenty thousand young egyptians suffer a similar fate at the hands of egyptian military and police EVERY YEAR. For God's sake, do not let your young people travel to this mad, cruel, corrupt country, run by thugs and perverts. Do not go there yourself. Once the police decide to abduct you, to rob, rape or whatever, your chances of getting out alive are negligible. Read up on the Regeni case. The police lied repeatedly and refused to co-operate with international investigations. But the truth got out, in piecemeal fashion, in the end. But, the horror is in the real numbers of more than twenty thousand Egyptian Regenis who die awful deaths EVERY YEAR in this sick, and dangerous nest of perverts and thugs.

We worked with Djed and we had found them online initially. The guides featured in my videos all work under Djed Egypt Travel.

GREAT VIDEO BUDDY DO YOU THINK lUXOR IN 2 DAYS AND ABU SimBel IN 1 DAY IS ENOUGHT TIME ?
It’ll be enough to do the main highlights in Luxor. Abu Simbel is typically done in half a day so you’ll have plenty of time there

The music is a bit too loud
Looks expensive, Any idea of the costs involved? I don't think I can afford such accommodation and stylish services on my current salary.

Would you recommend Djed Tours?
I would! We really enjoyed their Dahabiya experience. The only challenge with them is that they’re a bit slow on the communication side of things.
Can you also make a list of prices

To get to Luxor, we flew from Cairo with a low cost carrier - Nile Air
