It's very common for these types of models to be modded. The reason the warranty sticker might've been popped was they flashed it. See if it will read a burnt disk, or dump the drive's firmware.
Good thing you said that you put in a return request cause I kept thinking “the seller gets the satisfaction of thinking they scammed someone out of 200$” 😂

2008-05-19, that would be a late Falcon Motherboard, which I’d venture to say it’s close to as good as Jasper in terms of reliability. Great video! Keep up the great work!
based on the innards that is definitely a Falcon motherboard and that time frame was around the time TSMC addressed and fixed the underfill on the GPU's that caused premature failure. That should be a pretty reliable console but it will run a bit hotter than the Jaspers beacuse Falcon V2's used a 95nm GPU instead of a 65nm like the jaspers did.
I had just bought a subwoofer on eBay, and he sent it out in a flimsy box, and the packaging was paper. One layer of paper on the bottom.. I took it apart, and the voicebox was almost completely off the cone. You wonder how some of these sellers have good reviews..

My thoughts exactly! Plus without those screws and an HDMI cable, cheaper plastic (from a third party) it weighs less too! Therefore reducing the carbon footprint further! (LOL).
