My old man used Stihl chainsaws exclusively around the farm, so it's what I grew up with and I have kept that tradition alive. To be fair to him he really looks after his saws, with the oldest being an 08s from the 1970's. He is 85 now, and likes nothing better than to be amongst the wood, whether that's chopping kindling, swinging an Axe, or having a blast with one of the lighter saws. Hope you have a Great day friends :)
Great weekent to you and yours Birchwood :). Like your "Be Kind" button/ sign on your channel fanner/ heading .. It is sure nice looking and inspirational. Greetings from Norway.
Okay y'all......according to Stihl, and it's in their catalog, you can buy a 461 with a full wrap bar and it has the letter W after the model #.Stihl says that this saw is a regional model and is apparently sold in certain area markets. Why, I don't know! Now, if you want large falling dogs for your saw you can buy some real good aftermarket dogs from Baileys on line, I believe the brand is Pro Safety. Also, you can order some from the chainsaw guy at Myrtle Creek Saw Shop in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. They are all 5 spike, large, west coast dogs. I know, I've bought some and they are first rate. Hope this is of some help to y'all.
Buckin', seeing you and Doug working by the light of a pickup sure drug up some memories. Gettin' the most out of short December days! The only difference was that I was pouring or finishing concrete and it was not near as much fun. Even though I'm 9 hours away and waiting for my new passport, your uploads make me feel like I'm right there with you guys. Can't thank you enough!
More than welcome my friend. Your content makes me 'content'. Here's why: con·tent1 adjective: in a state of peaceful happiness. - "he seemed more content, less bitter" verb: satisfy (someone). "that seemed to content her" noun: a state of satisfaction. Sorry - I couldn't resist ;-)
Nice job at being a problem solver! Good to see you rockin a Stihl! My Stihl 025 with 18 in bar did a great job on my tree that was 30 inches in diamater. All good for a rookie like me.
Yeah the small dogs don't bite. My 390XP came with two dogs from the factory but they were small. Husky made a big dog kit so I ordered those and put on it, wow what a difference.
Spencer McGinty the wrap version also has a 1.1 output Oiler verses the non wrap that has a 1.8. Also consider the fact that the wrap version is called the northwest version :) built for our big ole trees 🌲 Also good knowledge to know about the (R Model)talking with stihl i learned that it is not just the wrap handle , bigger dogs , chain roller high outputboiler and bigger clutch cover that makes that saw different ;) !!!!!They wouldn’t be specific but he did say ....(it’s only advertised as a having a wrap handle nothing else. but look what else it has that makes you like it. Run a 461 next to a 461r and I would understand. It comes down to the intake and exhaust port shapes , not dramatic in size just a shape thing). I’m still like WTF I’ve been dwelling on what he said for days so i called STIHL Dealers and half think the r stands for the rescue model and others swear it has the same Oiler as the non r and two more calls to stihl one person says then Oiler is the same and another said “the 461r is the saw no one knows abou” in those exact words!!!!! Point being the 461r is the last of the nasty carbed stihl pro chainsaws manufactures and nobody knows that it is the beast that it is !!!
My dad and I used to cut firewood all day long when I was younger we would go find the trees and cut them.down and I remember spending a many of nights standing in the beams of light coming from the old farm truck cutting wood or loading it up or even working on a saw. Love it memory lane for sure.
The "West Coast" 461's come with bigger dogs and you can also buy them as a upgrade kit after the fact. There are also some decent aftermarket ones. Sorta the same way Husky does full wraps, dealer has to order the "upgrade" kit when they order the saw because half wraps are more common in general so that's what Husky sends as"stock". I never thought you'd ever be filmed running a Stihl other than a top handle! Buckin in east coast hardwood with a Stihl, one for the books! Can't wait to see more!!!
Hey Billy. Here in Germany those small teeny dogs are very common. You barely see anyone having large ones on their saw. But for my own I get along very well with the small ones. Keep it up 😁
I have to agree with you Buckin, that saw needs the same dogs as the 661. My 661 is a beast and I love it, cuts smooth as silk. The 461 is a great saw, and I would have thought a company like stihl would have had the same dogs as the 661. Nice to see a video of you using a stihl, keep up the good videos.
Billy billy billy !! This is exactly what in wanted to see !! I bought my 461 about 2 weeks ago. I asked the saw shop if the could get the bigger dogs and the dont make them. Great idea bud
Look at PF65skate on eBay he made me a set get a wraparound handle for it also it makes it way more balanced I got one off eBay fit and finish were good it was 35.00 vs 130.00 from the Stihl dealer you Gould buy 4 for that price..
The set they are talking about are dual dogs, they mount on the case and clutch cover along with a chain catcher. They do fit as I have them on my 461, 460 and 440.
I own stihl and Mcculloch and had snoop probs, personally unfortunately husky I have..I own a 272xp and so far so good .maybe this one will break the mold for me lol..be kind friends, welcome to our new friends ( subscribers) lol..great mood tonight friends. Love you all
I am 73 year old from North Carolina. I upgraded my 041 to a MS461 I did upgrade to larger dogs. I love the saw. But I wish I where as good as you are using it.
Prime example of real logging. Working by light of the truck been there a many of time. And stihl is like husky if you dont live on the coast they sell them with smaller dogs. If you order the west coast versions they come with dual dogs and a full wrap.she sure looks cool with those mac dogs though. Stay safe and keep your saw on the log
Just paid for a MS 461R .Will get it on Tuesday. I should have a pair of larger aggressive dogs similar to the 661. Sawed a couple cords of fire wood yesterday and all three saws performed miserably. Will need some ideas on the Timberbear McCulloch to get it to function. Rudedog of the Oregon Coast Range.
Billy love the content. You are the man. Seeing you rock the mcculloch the first time I really though you were crazy. Lol then I seen you climb with it, then I know. Lol but finally see you run a Stihl. Thanks for making my day. Enjoy the states
wow so glad your happy with the stihl , Ive been using stihl for over 20 years , its what they sell in my area plus its what the company i worked for was using plus all the other companies i work for .. i work for friends on volunteer work days n they have stihl LOL ..
Hi. Hope your special axe prodject is moving in right direction :) Have found two of my grandpa Homelite XL 12 Soper in the shed. A little attension and carb kits have got them started, so looking forward to work a little more on the prodjects in winter time. Ah, the sound, childhood memories ;). Take care Brian.
Thank you Jarnith. XL 12, I think Buckn' has one fo those. Great saw. Really looking forward to putting my 770 direct drvie -with 404- through the paces when I get home.
Hard to cut in big wood without proper dogs...bought a Stihl MS 180 for cleaning up brush and small trees on the property...no dogs at all..well, tiny plastic ones, but they didn't do any good...so the oldest boy got the Stihl, and I went back to the old 262...with dogs :) Got it hopped up 3 days ago, and it's almost scary for a saw that size!
TheNorthener as for as I know only the 170 and t192 don’t have dogs. My 180 has them. They work good. That’s why I got the 180 over the 170, dogs and a tiny bit more power.
Fishfind3000...where I live the MS170, MS180 and the MS181 C-BE doesn't have dogs, just the tiny plastic ones already on the front plate under the exhaust...metal dogs are an option we'll have to buy as an accessory. It's also comes out of the box with a 0.043", 14" bar as the only option...I bought a 16" 0.050" Oregon bar and replaced the 14"...I mounted that on the top handle saw :)
Those are small dogs!!. I put a set of full wrap dogs on my 390xp, the stock ones were tiny. The stock 395xp dogs seem about right. The 461 is a nice saw, now open up that muffler she sounds like a vacuum cleaner lol.
When I bought my 460 years ago I told the sales guy to add the large double dogs to the saw, he gave me a weird look and I instantly knew this guy knew nothing about cutting. He did however add the dogs at no extra charge.
BillyRay .fabricating. Ahaha It just work's friend's. Alway's feel like were right there watching you do what you do,Thank's so much my friend for the meet and greet yesterday,to see the new merch. and the styles Doug and his crew (along with you) have created, such a stand-up guy all around, Keep the message going my friend..Take Care friend's,love to you all..
Best thing that ever happened to that 461. Go Mackey!!! My old 700 is one bear. If McCulloch had taken the vibration out of it it would be a dream to run .Razor sharp teeth and shaved rakers, the old girl would throw dime size chips. Old farm Boy
What's this Buckin guy do anyway apart from cutting trees, playing & repairing drums, making good axes, designing tattoos, inventing comical characters, singing songs, knowing his saws, working hard for his lovely family, playing harmonica, living clean, making cool vids, cheering me up, gathering good people, doing his own thing! Man he's not got a lot going for himself eh? I'm not Buckin suckin but I sincerely hope you never have to blow yer own whistle buddy being kind was on ma mind & these are the best words ah could find. Check it out now, the yoyos all brother lol. ❤️💪👍
Sure, Buckin' the McCulloch is a beast, yeah after puttering around with the carb and wasting time, I'm not use to this stuff... This McCulloch stuff! Sthil and Husqvarna are far superior. Its a little harsh, the man likes his Sthil's . Different strokes for different folks, be Merry around the holidays, haha! Not everyone who watches your videos likes McCulloch's, I love nostalgic things as much as you do, we like you for you, Buckin' and not necessarily your saws, haha! Be kind!
The only aftermarket I added to my 461 was 3inch carbide dog spikes. Stihl is lacking on those to try tempt the customer into buying the 661 with bigger spikes.
Now I gotcha... I just took my little dog out and put my big dog in the 390 Ford. She runs Eh... You can feel the improvement in traction for sure🙋☮🙋 Merry Christmas to all...🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄
You should try some of the Dolmar products their dogs are amazing and combined with their saws they can cut some trees in a hurry! I have impressed enough that I am debating the 7900 verses a 576 for my next purchase! Love huskies but dolmarr / makita has some great stuff too.
AJS CHAINSAWS Thanks, I run a fire wood business and have a Dolmar 5105 and a husky 562 so far I love both saws! Husky is used for felling and Dolmar for bucking. The balance on the Dolmar is unbelievable I don’t even feel the weight any more great saw!
yeah while it is under warranty i will keep original equip on it. I run 3/8, 050 on as long as I keep it sharp it eats the wood like mad! Even though it is 50 cc their is not a huge drop off between the Dolmar and the husky.
A Stihl MS 461 is my "big saw" and I love it. The dogs really are too small for falling and bucking but they work great with my Granberg chainsaw mill. This as they let me get a bit more cutting width with my 36" bar/mill than would the bigger dogs.
I use a 25 for falling/bucking and a 36 for milling. Biggest log milled to date was a just shy of 30" ash. I use a rip chain for milling and it has worked well. I also have a winch mounted on the mil... that makes a huge difference while milling. Much easier and results in smoother cuts.
See, now I gotta look at my 461 and see how big the dang dogs are! Be right back........ It's my worst nightmare -- they're tiny. Better get a man-sized dog off one of my Macs. This was a life-changing video.
For some strange reason, Stihl only puts the big double dogs on the 461 when you buy the model with the wrap handle bars. They call it the 461R Sweet fab job to get er done
It is dangerous to cut in the dark - it is just to easy to make a mistake. The same goes for when it is raining. I have done both but limit my cutting, these days, to good light and dry weather. I do not know how big the dogs are on a 461 but they have to be bigger than the ones on my 391. I very seldom use the dogs on my saws because the chains are usually sharp enough not to need them. If you have to use the dogs - sharpen the chain.
Buckin’ I didn’t know they sold 1/2 wraps on your side!! 🤣 Looks Good, the 461. I think Mr. Walker will make it better. I like the Madsen’s 4 points on mine.
If you bye a west coast saw with the full wrap handle you get the bigger dawgs. That all I bye. Except with the 362. I needed to bye the larger dawgs but that's ok
Yeh, whats up with that. I just got a 362R and was expecting the big dogs when I went in to pick her up. I thought the dealer was pulling a quick one. It had two, just small.
so.. the uh 461r comes with a full wrap and big dogs... just sayin, though now I'm starting to understand why folks complain about stihl dogs, cause well... west coast saws are just different
northman logging yea, I want to get a 462r but have no need for it. Still a sexy saw. Wrap handle high output Oiler, larger chip defector. And it’s only a $100 more. Every time I ask about them my dealer says there’s 0 need for them in the east coast/mid. It’s always tree crews not fallers.
customer is never right, but they are paying for their stupidity... as for the ms462, I suggest waiting until they are field proven, I for one am a skeptic as to their performance, though I have been wrong before, I didn't wan't a ms461, now I have 2 and would gladly stockpile em just incase Stihl does the unthinkable and replaces it with a less then skookum 462
Hey buckin I was thinking about buying a 461. I have a brand new 372xp full wrap I do like the weight on the husky and the 461 is a little heavier. For power wise what do u prefer? Thanks
GDAY TO ALL NEW SUBSCRIBERS GREAT TO SEE NEW NAMES..LOVE TO THE TRUE BLUES HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT👍🏼😎 BUCKIN BILLY RAY I TOTALLY AGREE.. NEVER FIGURED OUT WHATS THE USE OF DOGS ON ANY SAW THAT ARE TO SMALL AND DON'T DO THEIR INTENDED USE!🤔
Good to see ya big wazza, stihl legal department is probably got a hand in that so people don't get hurt horsing the saw threw a big round and getting a kickback I took mine off my 461 and put a custom set on a guy made me on ebay
🌳landfill rat🌳 Hi budd hope your doing great👍🏼😎 Fair enough but i always thought the dogs dug in and prevented kick back,Well that's what I've experienced anyways!good choice with the aftermarket dogs
Yep, nice saw thar Buc. Sounds nice. The old 460's did vibrate alot, but they would throw the chips. On the 461, is Stihl still using head bolts to hold on the mufflers? Thats how much the old 460's would vibrate. Those Dawgs are too small. Get and aftermarket set. A set of Dawgs off a 660 should work.
folks down here were not set up for the logger type ,,no flat files and a whole bunch of other things ,, justb not big on loggin here .. beautiful here
Buckin' Billy Ray Smith Billy it's not always possible to find what you need down here, pretty much everything to do with logging I have to order off the net. We do have saw mills and saw shops outside of town that have some things, but still nothing like guys on the west coast. I've yet to find a local shop that carries skip tooth chain, why I have no idea.
I just fabricated some custom dogs for my 201-T.... from the hardened steel recycled from a very worn pruning saw...same gauge as original dogs, but way harder...and 3×BIGGER!!!😂
My rule is - if you have to lay the dogs into the wood you're chain is to dull. All of my saws have dogs but I seldom really use them to any great degree. My chains are sharp.
Those dinky little dogs that Stihl insist on putting on many of their saws and the fact that most of the saws dont come with a full wrap handle is a mystery to me. In Europe they generally dont use the full wrap bars and tend to use different cuts when felling compared to Canada and the States. That 461 was going to be my next saw after my trusty MS 381 (not available in the USA). Now both Stihl (MS 462) and Husky (XP 372) have bought out new models for 2018 - still think the older models of both brands in the 72 cc range might be a better option ? Let me know what you think all you informed members of the Buckin army.
That would.drive me nuts, if i had a tool I had to constantly mess it, to get it working right. When I go to work i want to work, not spend all kinds of time fixing stuff! Buckin has patients like a mad man !! Lol
Just subscribed to the channel... a big hello from Texas! I do some occasional felling for firewood... I run a husky and it won't start back up once I've given her hell for a while... when it cools down she starts right up... do I need to adjust the carb?
That McCulloch dog has quite a bit more bite than the Stihl dog. I run a 25" bar on a Stihl 441 and 044 Magnum for bucking firewood logs mostly so I don't have to bend over so much (easier on the back). I'm hardly every using the dogs climbing around on the log pile but I'll get some big beech and maple that I have to dig into, although the bark is fairly smooth so I don't miss the big dogs on the log pile.
I'm seriously considering the 461! What does Husqvarna have in comparison and which would you prefer if only could buy one? Those are the only two choices I have in my area.. Thank you very much!
My life is complete I got to see buckin running a stihl. I'm a happy man
My thoughts exactly!
My old man used Stihl chainsaws exclusively around the farm, so it's what I grew up with and I have kept that tradition alive. God bless your Dad, John!
And you too John Thank you 👍
John, I could use an 08S if he ever decides to sell it :-)
Have a good one....
Cheers 009to090, hope you have an excellent day 👍
Love to see ya on a STIHL, Buckin! And thanks for the tuning advice. Have great weekend to all Buckineers!

adjective: in a state of peaceful happiness. - "he seemed more content, less bitter"
verb: satisfy (someone). "that seemed to content her"
noun: a state of satisfaction.
Sorry - I couldn't resist ;-)

Billy billy billy !! This is exactly what in wanted to see !! I bought my 461 about 2 weeks ago. I asked the saw shop if the could get the bigger dogs and the dont make them. Great idea bud
ask for the dog on the 461R model they should be able to order them
Jean-Raphaël Gagnon hi buddy the saw shop i use said that the rescue saw has a completely different side cover so them dogs wouldn’t fit
Go to eBay. There are aftermarket large dogs for the 461
Look at PF65skate on eBay he made me a set get a wraparound handle for it also it makes it way more balanced I got one off eBay fit and finish were good it was 35.00 vs 130.00 from the Stihl dealer you Gould buy 4 for that price..

I am 73 year old from North Carolina. I upgraded my 041 to a MS461 I did upgrade to larger dogs. I love the saw. But I wish I where as good as you are using it.
Hi Buckin I see you are given it a upgrade works well Buckin
Those old McCulloch's are some of the best sounding saws!
Hi Billy ... Jack Beelar of hotsaws 101 builds a mean 461 ...he’s got an “insane-0” port job that makes that saw BARK !
I am 74 and have the 461. Also still using a 041 and a 241. Love them but I must say I love the sounds of the yellow saws
Prime example of real logging. Working by light of the truck been there a many of time. And stihl is like husky if you dont live on the coast they sell them with smaller dogs. Buckin with a stihl hihi looks good on ya lol have a great weekend friends love yaz all
wierd eh
Hey buckin!
You can get the 461with a full wrap and inner/outer felling dogs
It should be standard, but alas, it is not
I bought one in August - Full Wrap Bar and in Big Dawgs.
I put a double set of the big dogs on my ms460 and I love it! They really stick and provide an excellent pivot, plus they look really awesome :)
I don't know what the difference might have been, but my 461 has HUGE meaty dogs on it!
Hey Buckin if you get the 461R....it has the full wrap and large falling spikes. The 461 with the half wrap comes with small dogs.
Billy love the content. You are the man. Seeing you rock the mcculloch the first time I really though you were crazy. Lol then I seen you climb with it, then I know. Lol but finally see you run a Stihl. Thanks for making my day. Enjoy the states

Hold on to her with both hands north star
landfill rat...it's not a one hand saw, that's for sure...Take care buddy :)
You can put dogs on a 180 its like a 6.00 option. But not needed the intended use of the 180 is small limbs and such.
Stihl does make larger dogs for these saws. First thing that I changed on mine, and it even has the roller chain catcher too.
Yipee! First! ;) Hope the army are keeping well!
Congrats. Hi hi. Have a nice day :)
Nice video, Billy.
That's right, Stihl rests on his name and Saws suffer from that. :-(
Those are small dogs!!. I put a set of full wrap dogs on my 390xp, the stock ones were tiny. The stock 395xp dogs seem about right. The 461 is a nice saw, now open up that muffler she sounds like a vacuum cleaner lol.
.............or a Singer sewing machine. Got a buckshot muffler on my 461. WOW!!!
When I bought my 460 years ago I told the sales guy to add the large double dogs to the saw, he gave me a weird look and I instantly knew this guy knew nothing about cutting. He did however add the dogs at no extra charge.

Snow up to my kneecap's and blowing here ..But I'm toasty staying inside my friend..
A stihl now your taking 😁
Need to get the wrap handle version....bigger clutch cover and way bigger dogs both sides
Be kind!
Gotta change out dogs on all the Stihls.. The factory ones are little puppies 😂 Rock on Bill 💪👍
yip
The only aftermarket I added to my 461 was 3inch carbide dog spikes. Stihl is lacking on those to try tempt the customer into buying the 661 with bigger spikes.
Now I gotcha...
I just took my little dog out and put my big dog in the 390 Ford. She runs Eh... You can feel the improvement in traction for sure🙋☮🙋
Merry Christmas to all...🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄🎅🎄
You should try some of the Dolmar products their dogs are amazing and combined with their saws they can cut some trees in a hurry! I have impressed enough that I am debating the 7900 verses a 576 for my next purchase! Love huskies but dolmarr / makita has some great stuff too.
Yeah Brent you should get the ps-7910 or the ea-7900 👍👍👍🇬🇧
AJS CHAINSAWS Thanks, I run a fire wood business and have a Dolmar 5105 and a husky 562 so far I love both saws! Husky is used for felling and Dolmar for bucking. The balance on the Dolmar is unbelievable I don’t even feel the weight any more great saw!
Yeah t(e 5105 is a good saw ha=e still got the original cat muffler on that o;e do you run .325 , 050 gauge
yeah while it is under warranty i will keep original equip on it. I run 3/8, 050 on as long as I keep it sharp it eats the wood like mad! Even though it is 50 cc their is not a huge drop off between the Dolmar and the husky.
Yes I get what your saying they are hot rods when you do relieve that muffler of the Kat and riches here up it’ll be even hotter 🔥
Lovin’ this one!! The 461r (wrap handle) is THE SAW!!! Brapppbrappp #buckin&brappin
This really graps me up funny
Wow ! Sorry Doug, buckin is high maintenance !!!!! LMBO 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
You have no idea :)
Decal thats what happens when u bring him to the states, and he doesn't have a clue about the trees . Hes set in his ways ! Lol
OOOO buckin haha LOVE THE WAY YA fixed that saw .. silly little bar dogs HAH ! OH dinner Ill be rt in LOL ..
A Stihl MS 461 is my "big saw" and I love it. The dogs really are too small for falling and bucking but they work great with my Granberg chainsaw mill. This as they let me get a bit more cutting width with my 36" bar/mill than would the bigger dogs.
The Colonial Craftsman you bet good for that
That what i use it for whats the biggest bar you have ran on it and how did it handle it stihl say a 25 is the biggest it will take
I use a 25 for falling/bucking and a 36 for milling.
You got the east coast version....no saw shop around here sells them like that! Need the model with the wrap bars and they come with faller dawgs
For some strange reason, Stihl only puts the big double dogs on the 461 when you buy the model with the wrap handle bars. They call it the 461R
Sweet fab job to get er done
It is dangerous to cut in the dark - it is just to easy to make a mistake. The same goes for when it is raining. I have done both but limit my cutting, these days, to good light and dry weather.
I do not know how big the dogs are on a 461 but they have to be bigger than the ones on my 391. I very seldom use the dogs on my saws because the chains are usually sharp enough not to need them. If you have to use the dogs - sharpen the chain.
That 10-10 sounded SOOOOO SWEEEEEEET😌
the dog size depends on where the saw is sold. an eastern saw has small dogs and the western saw has large dogs and wrap handle
Buckin’
I didn’t know they sold 1/2 wraps on your side!! 🤣
Looks Good, the 461.
I think Mr. Walker will make it better.
I like the Madsen’s 4 points on mine.
THIS IS NOT MY SAW ITS ALL THEY HAD IN INDIANA, HALF RAPS ARE PLAIN WEIRD ON BIGGER SAWS HA HA
I put big 660 dogs on both of my 440's. Same bolt spacing, one per side, side cover dogs have different bolt spacing but are available to match.
ive got a 041 av and I custom made my own set of dogs and the difference is night and day
so.. the uh 461r comes with a full wrap and big dogs... just sayin, though now I'm starting to understand why folks complain about stihl dogs, cause well... west coast saws are just different
northman logging yea, I want to get a 462r but have no need for it. Still a sexy saw. Wrap handle high output Oiler, larger chip defector. And it’s only a $100 more. Every time I ask about them my dealer says there’s 0 need for them in the east coast/mid. It’s always tree crews not fallers.
Whatever happened to giving the customer what he wants?
gone brother in some places
customer is never right, but they are paying for their stupidity... as for the ms462, I suggest waiting until they are field proven, I for one am a skeptic as to their performance, though I have been wrong before, I didn't wan't a ms461, now I have 2 and would gladly stockpile em just incase Stihl does the unthinkable and replaces it with a less then skookum 462
I Love my 461 I run a 25 inch bar full comp chain and big DAWGS ! I call my saw JAWS!!!
I put the dogs from a 661 on my 461 Works very well
Justin Wharry that was the plan but they didn't have any at the shop which I found very hard to believe
Does it really ? I like the roller chain catch on that set of dog im going to buy some then
Love all your vids
Great change over Buckin. My 660 ones are a lot bigger than the 461 you showed? That makes no sense at all, its a very powerful saw.
That will have some bight now!! Love it :-)
15,000 yeah baby !!!
Hey buckin I was thinking about buying a 461. I have a brand new 372xp full wrap I do like the weight on the husky and the 461 is a little heavier. For power wise what do u prefer? Thanks
hey u invented the wheel !
Umm Hmm Stihl gets a Mc-A-Doodle-Upgrade Whammy Job Dun ! ATB Ter God Bless
A little “massaging” and that 461 will come around - dogs from the factory from what I’ve heard
Love my 461
Hi Buckin would love to see some spitting some of that hard wood with a double bit axe I would pull up a stump for that!
Yes, sir, that would be interesting!
I love my 461 just a perfect sized get stuff done saw
GDAY TO ALL NEW SUBSCRIBERS GREAT TO SEE NEW NAMES..LOVE TO THE TRUE BLUES HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT👍🏼😎
BUCKIN BILLY RAY I TOTALLY AGREE..
You can order big stihl dogs. A lot of stihl dealers in Ohio keep big dogs and full wrap handles in stock for 461,661,880
Big Wazza hope you are well bud, good to see ya on the channel.
you need BIG dogs the bigger the better some thing that bite into stringy bark
🌳landfill rat🌳
Hi budd hope your doing great👍🏼😎
Fair enough but i always thought the dogs dug in and prevented kick back,Well that's what I've experienced anyways!good choice with the aftermarket dogs
Did you get a hit of the sausage, noodles and cheese?
A stihl, buckin. Your killing me. Just kiddin bro good vid
You can get the 461 with the west coast package big dogs large clutch cover and 3/4 wrap or full wrap.
A set of Dawgs off a 660 should work.
folks down here were not set up for the logger type ,,no flat files and a whole bunch of other things ,, justb not big on loggin here .. beautiful here
yea i got 66 dogs on my 038 mag
Piltz dogs
Buckin' Billy Ray Smith
Billy it's not always possible to find what you need down here, pretty much everything to do with logging I have to order off the net. We do have saw mills and saw shops outside of town that have some things, but still nothing like guys on the west coast. I've yet to find a local shop that carries skip tooth chain, why I have no idea.
Where was down here??
Davis Outdoors WELCOME!
Great to have you along on the Buckin Billy Ray Experience!!!
Oooh fire out the exhaust at :40 that's what I'm talkin about!
They’ve changed the dogs since, the dogs on my 461 are massive! You can lean right on it and it just walks
I'm seriously considering the 461! What does Husqvarna have in comparison and which would you prefer if only could buy one? Those are the only two choices I have in my area.. Thank you very much!
461 is light to work with but has got balls will be happy for shore
Buckins burning the midnight oil > >
Hey Buckin Billy Ray - now that ya got the 461 whooped into shape ... how’s about selling me yer 125 super - pro ! Lol
