Glad to see you run the old McCulloch iron. Super Pro 125 was the hot saw of my youth. All my Gippo logger foster dad would run when fellin Oregon old second growth. We ground 16 chains for 40" bars every night so each faller had a fresh chain and three fresh chains every day. 3 boys would rotate fueling the crummies, mixing saw gas and filling the oil jugs, and grinding chain. Worked our asses off but what a way to grow up. You bring back lots of good memories Buckin. Thank You!
Your appreciation of McCulloch chainsaws and passion for tree work is inspiring! Just picked up my first MAC3216 for $20 bucks and all was wrong was some bad fuel line!
i just got a pro 10-10 auto off of ebay after you said you liked yours. its super clean! Put a 20" bar and full house chain on, tuned her in and she rips! love the 10-10s

The only guy I know who takes 5 chainsaws to a job site just cause he loves running them...Haha! Great to see such enthusiasm! Hey Buckin, seeing that you're a vintage chainsaw buff and general lover of all things vintage, I thought this might interest you. The make and model of power saw used in the first "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974) was a Poulan 306a. Looks like it had a 20" blade.
Pretty tight quarters you dropped that tree in! Good work. I wish i could fell like that. Dad tells me my grandpa could place a stake in the ground and fell the tree and drive the stake with that tree.
Oohh...love the rumble from that McMerc...and the 125..it´s insane! One heck of a nice axe you got there Billy...looks alot like those german felling axes or a Norlund...nice axe anyway :)
I've only seen that type of eye on European style axes when I was in Germany. They had a distinct round slim front and a wide squared off back of the eye. Beautiful piece!
These vids are really making me drool for a mac so bad....saw a beautiful 125 for $1299....wow, I dont have that kinda green for a saw. Guess I will be sticking with my $50 Homie SXL....I love the old iron. Be Kind, my friends.
