    Thank you so much for the great and detailed explanation. I have just purchased an Arcelik washer and Dryer 8050 YMK today in Istanbul and the delivery guys do not speak English. I do not speak Turkish either, so you can imagine how difficult it was for me to use the machine :))
    I searched for a video to help me, and I found yours. This BEKO is similar to the Arcelik model I purchased and your explanation helped me understand the programs and the options. What a relief.

    Thanks so much - having had my old washer for at least 15 years, digital ones are slightly daunting. The instructions aren’t great or very clear for this model so your video is just what’s needed -why don’t manufacturers just do this.

    • @lords-electrical

      I agree that if the manufacturers made a video for customers to watch it would be so much easier than reading the instructions.

    The new mic sounds great!!! Most people won’t notice a difference unless they do a back to back comparison but I can immediately tell that there is much less reverb/reflections and when you turn your head away from the camera, the voice is picked up no problem.

      In theory you should be able to, but if you can avoid opening the door then it will be better. With the sensor, it could reset if you open the door and will take longer to dry the clothes. If the program is half done, then you wouldn't want to add anything to the load anyway.

I washed some sheets on the wash and dry mode.. when I took the sheets out I found grit/sand at the front of the washer (the rubber part) it wasn’t there before the wash so what could it be? Any suggestions? Thanks

    Thank you

    • @lords-electrical

      You don't need to use a separate pipe on washer dryers, they will use the water outlet to get rid of any of the moisture generated during the drying process.

    • @lords-electrical

      If it is what I'm thinking it is then it is the section that you keep in place when you are using liquid in the drawer rather than powder so the liquid doesn't run away before it is required in the program

    hi andy i dont usually use the dryer function on my combi washer/dryer as i just hang them out but its come to that time where clothes wont dry outside so i have to use it my machine is sensor dry i was wondering is sensor dry economical to use as i do know they stop when clothes are dry or will it cost me to use it money wise like the old timer dryers

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  2 года назад +1

      Sensor dry is a great feature, as it enable the dryer to detect how much moisture is in the clothes and will turn off the dryer when it is actually dry rather than setting the manual timer and guessing. Most of time you won't need to go to an extra dry program as it is a waste of energy, but normal dry or cupboard dry is normally ok. If you are going to dry shirts, then normally an Iron dry program is good as it leaves the clothes slightly damp which is great for ironing straight after to avoid the creases.

  • @jadeheadphones
    @jadeheadphones 2 года назад +1

    If I did a full wash and dry and had to take portion of clothes out, could I put that half in to dry after the first half came out?
    Or is it better to just do 4kg wash + dry each time?
    I'm a bit worried about damp drying things inside as the weather changes drastically over summer and I'm thinking long-term over the winter period too.
    I'm trying to chose between a beko and Samsung.
    I'm happy to go for the longer programs.
    I'm wondering what is best to do such as more washes throughout the week instead of letting it pile up and doing washing one after the other on one day.
    I'm a bit of a night owl so I'm up almost all night and I'd probably do laundry then of late afternoon.

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  2 года назад

      There isn't a lint filter, i wonder if it is a build up of lint in the waste pipe that is causing it to back up and leak? It could also be a loose pipe somewhere that is causing it to leak, but without someone having a look, it is difficult to know.

      Washer dryers will normally use the waste hose rather than a separate tank to store the water

    How do you just use the dryer on its own?

    • @lords-electrical
      @lords-electrical  Год назад +2

      On the left hand side of the dial there are 2 options of Cotton dry and Synthetic dry, use either of these and press the Drying button for the different levels of drying.

    Hi does this model have 4 bolts or 5 ? I paid a company to deliver and install. There was 1 small white cap left out spare. Thing is Im terrified too put it back on because i thought it was going to break the units above. Im suspecting a bolts been left in. Thanks in advance 👍

      It has 4 transit bolts and you are right that one of the holes has a plastic cap in it already.

      The cover you should be ok to wash, but an actual duvet you won't be able to get it in.

      I just got the 8/5 one and it's something like 59x82 and 52cm deep - door closed, didn't count the tubes behind it
