This animation is about assembling the Junkers Ju-Ef 126 from "Das Werk" in scale 1/35.
It was an eperimental fighter that was proposed as a response to the "Jägernotprogramm" or "Emergency Fighter Program" request for proposal issued by the Luftwaffe High Comand in 1944. While the initial design was supposed to use a single Argus pulse-jet engine, it was quickly found to be underpowered in that configuration. Various alternative propulsion options were explored, including a dual Argus configuration - a bit like the engine arrangement of the space ship enterprise...
The type was to be built utilizing wood for the flying surface with an aluminium fuselage and key structural elements. 4 Schmidding rocket boosters were arranged circumferentially around the rear fuselage.
I decided to build the little prototype situated in the manufacture around 1946 after world war two ended. The interior and the mechanics were digitally designed, animated and eventually printed on a Junco Evolution D 3D printer.
Thanks to Michael Cremerius, www.germania-figuren.eu for designing the base shape of the engineers I could finally animate in Maxon Cinema 4D.
Wood decals are from www.uschivdr.com
Colors are from www.alclad2-online.co.uk
Music: "The Emperor's Army" from Jeremy Blake
This is a amazing, the model and the filming
Thank you
Oh hi Iron!
How when I saw the thumbnail did I know you would be here.
Iron? Hey!
@@TomGrigat Can I ask you the name of the program you use? I m modeler and shares many of our guiding Greetings from Turkısh sir 😎👍👋🏻
Craftmanship beyond believe. Building, modeling, detailing, weathering, vidoeing, editing . . . it just not end. Compliments and be proud.
Thank you very much 😊
This is the first video I’ve seen on this channel. 20 sec in
@@TomGrigat i really like your videos and i was wondering if you could do the "ME 264" also the so called AMERIKA BOMBER. A bomber that almost changed history (not by changing the course of the war as it was supposed to) but by bringing the horrors of war back to america for the first time since the civil war by bombing new york...
I hope you like the others too 😅
@@TomGrigat Yes... just as much as this one
Well, that was an exceptional video. Well done, Tom. Always making this look easier and more difficult than it actually is, and making an art of it.

I am so blown away at not only your skill level of building these models, but the cinematography and the stop motion and the massive amount of time you put into the quality of of these, what I call "short films". You sir are absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing your stories.
2 people don't know how much work and dedication where put on a 6 minute video
No, they loved it, but they live in Australia.
Insane, how can this be disliked? Animation, overlays, stop motion, the model! Amazing
Thanks a lot 😊
More like ancestor to A-10 Warthog. Beautiful!!
That was the first thing that I thought when I saw the thumbnail for the video.
It might look like A-10, but it have noting in common, "Minaturjägerprogramm" was the last ditch effort to build a dirt cheap fighter out of wood.... "puls jet enginge and wooden wings what can go wrong....
Wish model kits actually unpacked, assembled and painted themselves because mine never end up looking like this. Glue on the inside of the cockpit canopy is more my level.
Yeah, me too.
That's why I do tanks and WW1 planes....
I know the feeling wish the music would come with the kit as well 👍
Interesting idea 🤩
Is today is today!!! I was waiting for this 3 days
I hope it was worth it 😅

Is there a Nobel Prize for videos?
I dont know what I'm more impressed by, the model build or the animation. They're both impressive.
Thanks a lot 😊
It's always such a pleasure to not see you work but also watch your videos, well done sir!!
Sorry for the typo
Thanks a lot 😊
I can't get enough of your videos! This is so much more than professional modelling; it is... beautiful! So much work put into every video, and so many details to notice. Thank you
Thanks for your kind words - you're welcome 😊
One of your best videos and builds so far, really enjoyed the digital animations and the 3D prints.
I'm pleased to hear
That wood and aluminium combination looks so aesthetic 😌💆🏻
I'm pleased to hear
This is by far the best stop motion art I've seen, the mix of reality with digital elements is just flawless, amazing work man
A huge amount of work must have gone into making this video. I wonder what kind of hater leaves a dislike on this.
A new level of 'WOW'- superb Tom. A work of art and brilliantly done!
There just aren't proper words to describe the artistry and skill you employ in every kit and every video. Salute!
I'm glad you like it 😊
Honestly these old Pulse jet prototype jet fighters were super cool, and this diorama is top notch.
Thank you 😊
Wow! This has been my favourite video from you. A true work of art 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I'm pleased to hear 😊
This has love, art and immense skill written all over it. The aircraft itself, the build of this stunning model, the amount of work that has gone into the production of this video; it's a treat to watch. Thanks so much for making and sharing 🤩
I'm glad you like it and thanks for your kind words
So agree, this is beautiful.
Tom, you bring real joy to the world, Thank you.
Thank you very much 😊
Sir, The build in impeccable, the stop motion video is beautifully done and presented. With the antique flair added over all, it completes the video and is overall stunning art on so many levels. Well done sir.
Amazing paint job and I love the animation ! Man, this thing must have been LOUD...!!!
Thanks - I really think so
Amazing work, right across the board.
Not with standing, the patience required.
Masterfully done - with an impressive new level of graphics! 👍
I'm pleased you like it 😊
Another top notch modelling video!
Model making taken to the next level.
Thanks a lot 😊
Outstanding, also could be a distant cousin to the Fairchild Republic A-10. Matters not, just amazing presentation, Sir.
Thanks a lot 😊
Remarkable modelling and video !!
Tom... buddy.... what to say? You are just constantly raising thr bar on your content! Amazing!!
INCREDIBLE. Took me back to the 1940s.
Wow what a great subject. And another beautiful build and video too. It must have taken you countless hours

My mind just blew up like a V1 after impact
Tom you are a brilliant artist and youtuber. I wish you continued success - these builds and videos are true works of art!!!!
Well yet again a video to be very proud of. Topnotch model and topnotch video. 👏
‘ Once again another incredible piece of mind blowing work , beyond anything I will ever witness in this life time !!!!! Tom your a pioneer of modelling, there are two other modellers I’ve seen , but honestly your work is achievable and realistic, compared to other modelling that can be extremely hard to follow and you at least show from sizes of wire gauge for ignition leads for spark plug wiring , tubing , colours , rigging thread
All these are beyond helpful and wood painting imitating, are just beautiful, Thankyou and a pleasure just watching these post , over , over and over again .
In this generation, you are the incredibly gifted and definitely very talented, unbelievable unique mentor I have ever seen !!
Your production and filming , directing are nothing short that would make , the likes of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg would be truly impressed ,
I can’t lament enough, your skill shared and techniques are just enthralling and so incredibly helpful and pioneering,
Thank you for the post you make ,
It’s an extreme pity and very sad that there is not a YTube award or hopefully I’m sure , a modelling award of the Oscar type , that should be awarded to you !!!!! ,
BLESS YOU and your Family Tom in these incredibly hard times , especially in the UK ,from across the other side of the world , Australia
Stay safe and Godspeed :) Please keep posting !
Thank you very much for your kind words 😊. I'm totally overwhelmed of your reaction to my work. I am pleased to hear my experiments generates such impressions. Thanks again and best regards, Tom
Looks like an A-10 Warthog.
WW2 warthog
She was thought for the same purpose *. . .*
After deciding to rekindle my childhood hobby of model making (50 this year),watching your videos has given me so much inspiration to do what I couldn’t as a child.Fantastic.
Thank you - I'm pleased to hear
@@TomGrigat 58 next week and you done it to me ....this particular kit has sold it and the Fokker DR 1. Thank you for the inspiration.
Wow, I'm pleased to hear my little experiments have such an impact. I hope you'll like your kits. Happy modelling.
Amazing job, amazing diorama ! Congrats from France 🇫🇷
just stunning, Tom you've outdone yourself
Thanks
Always loved the pulse jet design and always wondered how a manned pulse jet aircraft would work since one of the engines short comings is the fact that it needs a kick start of air into the intake. But you nailed that too with the disposable rocked boosters. Fantastic!
I somehow missed watching this til now.
This is gorgeous and I'm very disappointed that my local shop doesn't carry Das Werk models. Absolutely stunning and I love the decals!
Thanks - it's a pitty you can't get hand on the beautiful kits from "Das Werk". They are well manufactured and make a lot of fun to work with. Maybe on the internet?
looks like a World War 2 pulse jet powered predecessor to the A-10. And WOW, what an amazing build with an absolutely amazing video!
You, Sir, are an artist in every sense of the word!!! Fantastic!!!
Thank you very much 😊
Absolutely brilliant presentation!
Thank you very much 😊
It seems like a cross between the Enterprise, a Starfighter and an A10. The whole thing is totally stunning. The subject, the model making, and the film making. Thanks for posting. Not sure what the dislikers are expecting.
Thank you very much for your kind words 😊
Beautiful build and video! Thanks for sharing it.
Absolutely amazing work!!!
Thank you very much 😊
To me, this is the canonical ancestor of the A-10. Beautifully done.
Possibly 😎
Wow!, just wow! I'm blown away
Each video takes model building to the next level what amazing skill and patience you have. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next. Best wishes to you from NZ.
Thank you very much and greetings from Germany back to you
Hi Tom, I am amazed by your building skills, but your presentation is out of this world. Amazing!
Thanks a lot 😊
Beautiful. Wonderful presentation, stop motion, and CG compositing with 3D animation overlays. It almost looks like an A-10 Warthog predecessor!
All that's missing is Hanna Reitsch in the cockpit to really make a statement. So sad how Hollywood has ignored the greatest female aviator or all time.
Well, she was a nazi tho. Might have something to do with that.
Die Qualität der Materialdarstellungen, wie Holz und Metal, werden immer besser bei Dir! Der Detailgrad ist ohnehin schon unschlagbar. Danke Dir für das Video!
Dankeschön - freut mich, dass du es so siehst.
Absolute poetry. The very highest modelling coupled with the genius of the storytelling and the plain unbelievable filming. Perfection.
Such talent is breathtaking. I am in awe.
That plywood wing skins must have been a real challenge to simulate. Beautiful panel work, grain and patina.
nice music, cool animations, great model... what a good time to be alive my dudes...
I'm pleased to hear 😊
Beautiful!! That's all that needs to be said!
Thank you 😊
Holy shit.....that is astounding.....a truly sublime modelling video....😮

Twin glorified V1 pulso-reactors. 🥤
Great job as always Tom. Thanks for letting us have a peek.
I admire your work Tom. Thank you
Very good indeed. I like the mechanic and his ersatz coffee
Wonderful diorama, and amazing video presentation... above all, very inspiring!
Wow! What an amazing video! The aircraft build and the diorama was well made. I couldn’t stop watching, so creative. I was so impressed that I subscribed to your channel. I look forward to viewing ore of your videos.
Thanks a lot and I really appreciate your subscription. I hope you like my other videos as well...
Hi buddy amazing build this jet looks really interesting love the diorama I might get me one of these thank you for sharing mate
Thanks - you're welcome 😊
BRAVO!!👏WELL DONE SIR! Beautiful work! 👍👍
A few hundred years ago you would have been a terrific violin maker. You need to do more 1/32 & 1/24 models.
The worlds first stop action Stradivarius
Awesome presentation of this (fantasy) model.
Pity it only exists in the mind of the "Das Werk" model company. It was originally marketed as a "what-if" by them.
There never was a twin-engine Ef-126 or Ef-127
The 126 operated on a single Argus Pulsejet.
The 127 used a liquid-fuelled rocket engine, with almost no visual resemblance to the Ef126.
Well done sir! It must require a huge commitment of time as well as your exceptional artistic skills to produce these videos.
Stunning 🤯👍
Amazing work sir, as allways, its a pleasure to watch your productions!
This has got to be one of the most stunning videos to date if not the best I have seen on you tube for model making. Off to watch for a third time.
Just a class of its own.
Thank you Tom 🙂
Excellent build and fantastic video production! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wow... just discovered my new favourite modelling channel.
10 out of 10 for presentation!!
Beautiful way to show the build.
Thank you very much - I'm really happy to hear 😊
For a late war, "emergency" fighter, that's a nice looking plane
Absolutely stunning work, as always fantastic to watch.
thanks for the inspiration! mine looks really good beside my 262..I call it Lufwaffe 1946
Amazing video Tom, great quality, incredible job! Definitely been worth the wait :D
"Mind Blown" is an overused term, but in this instance it's totally justified. Tom, you are absolutely AMAZING.
Excellent.
This material is HUGE!!! I was watching carefully when suddenly minute 2:41 you made my mind blow! Really great work!
I'm pleased to hear you like my little experiment
Amazing editing...congrats...i can only guess the amount of work spent
Dude! If this is your hobby I can’t imagine what you do for work! Just subscribed and been blown away in both the model and video production! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much - I am a designer and 3D artist...
Exemplary, flawless, amazing work. Words are poor to describe the quality of your work, both in assembling / painting and video editing as well. It's Awesome. :)
Thanks a lot 😊
your videos have really evolved since the first one! Really impressive work, the 3d models with animation, the camera rotation while stopmotion is going and of course perfectly aligning the pieces each time.
Thanks for all the effort and a great build.
Best model assembly video ever made.
Nothing short of mesmerising. Beautifully done . Thank you for sharing.
Hello Tom! I have never seen such wonderful video animations. Every time I watch it with pleasure! And your models are top class too!
I'm pleased to hear you like my little experiments
I see that design and I think A-10 Thunderbolt
Tom, I wrote a whole back that your stop-motion skills were increasing by the video but you've just taken it up by another few notches. Outstanding. This is award-winning work.
That title made me imagine 12k meters fights between allied bombers vs these fighters, nice build!
This is art.
Holy cow - the production values of this vid are amazing - you must be a professional video editor / creator.
There you have me😅
@@TomGrigat This was the first vid I've seen of your work, and the way you brought those figures in by showing the lines of each of the "facets / polygons" of the figures as they got drawn was just incredible... I've never seen anything like it.
I'm happy you like it 😊
