Here's the brilliant thing: this was from a comedy but these guys wrote melodies like this that are actually beautiful. I am in awe of the talent of Guest and his friends
Love it. Nice to hear the entire song...much of it is obscured in the movie. Wish the synch weren't so bad, but... I can't find any actual recordings of the song, which is a bit of a surprise. So pretty.
Sad that the sinc is SO far off....but hearing Guest singing this "out of Corky" character is just SO WRONG! Props to her for doing the "choreography"!
A beautiful song that no one has yet done justice to: these guys just didn't try are enough or feel deeply enough. Best current version is in the film.

I like how he dropped the character after a point and just started singing and enjoying the song.
Damn, these guys can write nice songs. This one's up there with "Kiss at the End of the Rainbow".
Guest would have made a great Mister Rogers.
Check out "Mr. Robert's Neighborhood" on National Lampoon's That's Not Funny, That's Sick album. Chris Guest and Bill Murray. Brilliant.
I would love to get the piano sheet music!

Oh. Thank you. But I was talking about the concert itself. What 'tour' was this from? I am very very familiar with Christopher Guest work.
Spinal Top.
From Unwigged and Unplugged, or words to that effect :)
Almost as funny as the Blaine actors version........... actually I liked Blaine's better
What is this from? I love this cast and never saw this before. Is there more? Thanks!
