I have loved Annette O'Toole (and Catherine O'Hara) since I was a child and I knew Michael McKean & Annette O'Toole wrote this song for the film A Mighty Wind and it is performed beautifully by O'Hara & Eugene Levy in the film (I played that film soundtrack into the ground!!) - my point - I NEVER had any idea Annette O'Toole could sing MY GOD. Happily stumbled across this video tonight sitting here at home in quarantine bopping around on youtube - not looking for anything in particular. That's always when you find the best stuff. Wow.
@ 3:04 that kiss! It shows how much they love each other even after all their years being married... 😍A lovely couple, and awesome performers. Annette has a great voice! LPM💙☮️🎵
He looks at her with genuine adoration. Never settle, get a relationship like THIS, or it's not a relationship -- it's a shared lease on life and nothing more.
I've had a mad celeb crush on Annette ever since 48 hours, and today, I learned she is wonderfully musical and is married to one of my very favorites and one of the finest musical comedic actors of our day, Michael McKean. Ya know, St. Hubbins; the Patron Saint of quality footwear.
I love these two dearly...and I love that they gave us this song and many others. But I'm afraid that although I very much enjoy Michael and Annette performing their own song, it's Mick & Mickey singing it that still causes me to cry.
Beautiful song. I have not seen the movie and just stumbled across the video of Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara singing. Their performance was stunning. Was really impressed to learn the song was written by these two.
Squiggy never knew Lenny had this in him and who know Chuck could treat Jimmy the way he has. Michael McKeon is a national treasure.
"Thank you, Harry. I'm a big fat loser.". Lol just tickled me.
I can not hear this song and not ball my eyes out. What an amazing song these two have written.
This song is so beautiful. Thank you Michael & Annette for creating it. ❤️❤️

Such a beautiful song, one that deserves even more "play" than it gets.
Ditto! And it should have won the Oscar.

I didn´t have listen this song until the day of today March on three 2013. Tomorrow is my birthday so is a gift for me.
David St. Hubbins has really changed, man.
He has quality footwear though.
This song not winning the Oscar is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in Academy Awards history.
I never knew Annette O'Toole could sing!
Kudos, kudos....great song....
Yea i still think that they deserved the oscar for the song over "into the west" by Annie Lenox.
Beautiful.
Robbed of an Academy Award!
