    As an experienced athlete, footballer and fitness enthusiast who has spent his whole child hood in obesity, my experience says that -
    1.Stay in calorie deficit
    2.Eath healthy,avoid junk food,fast foods,sweet foods and oily foods and sodas and coke of course
    3.To tone your belly region, a simple exercise as plank is easily one of the most effective exercises, It's easier to do, requires no equipment and you will feel the difference in 4-5 days only.
    4.There's no shortcut to a fit body.If there would have been a shortcut,then everyone in this world would have a flat stomach.
    5.Dont think of fitness as a hobby/or think of it as a something to achieve a short term goal.
    6.Dont waste your time in finding shortcuts like slim sauna belts,or tummy wraps or something,do as I say and Live the life you wanted.
    Fitness is not a hobby but make it as a PART OF YOUR LIFESTYLE.

    • @gorlgoyle
      @gorlgoyle 7 лет назад

      Sunkis Ramos You want to let your muscles recover; muscle recovery is important so they have time to rebuild/repair themselves! I recommend working one (maybe two) muscle group a day. So try picking legs, chest/back (people often do these together), shoulders, arms, core and choose one day for each.
      Example: Chest and back on Monday, legs on Tuesday, etc. You wouldn't want to do the same muscle groups two days in a row (such as legs on Monday AND Tuesday) because you're not letting those muscles rest. This will actually prevent you from seeing the results you want.
      I hope this helps!! I've been doing a lot of fitness research and I recommend you research for yourself and figure out what works for you! I know there's a ton of information out there and it's really overwhelming, so I hope I could offer a little basic insight into exercise that took me awhile to figure out!

  • @Tannermanzello

    How to be skinny 101:
    1. Caloric Deficit.
    -Find out how much it takes to maintain your weight, and eat less than that. Also, eat a lot of protein.
    2. Lift Weights and some cardio if you want.
    -if you lift weights while in a caloric deficit, you will be more toned as you thin out and burn more calories.
    Lost 70 pounds in 7 months with this. Do it.

      You measure your weight in kgs (78 in my case) with the centimeters (cm) of your height. My height is 1,85 as i mentioned earlier. If my weight was 95 kgs i would say that i weight 10 kgs above my height.
      In order to make a clearer picture, that method is used to tell if your weight (in fat) is fine for you. Lower body weight than your height is good and you dont look fat. Body weight above your height makes you look fat...

    Recently went on a cut for about 2 months (ill still be going for another month or so), starting from 205lbs, now at 180lbs, hoping to get to 170ish. The process is simple, not easy. 2 key things, Nutrition and exercise. That's it. I ate 1800-2000 calories a day (im 6'3", and my maintenance is around 2600), 120 grams of which was protein. Cut out all fast food, all added sugar, most white bread. Lots of vegetables, chicken, fish, eggs, and rice. Then, I lifted 5-6 days a week and did 30 mins of cardio 7 days a week. Also made sure i got at least 7 hours of sleep.
    That's all there is to it. No shortcuts, that's what you have to do (maybe not as extreme as my cut). I've never been stronger, I've never felt better, I've never been happier with myself. It's worth every ounce of work.

      PictureFit In the Calisthenics Vs. Free Weight you talked about recovering from an injury.
      I'd like to add 1 little detail there:
      There is 2 parts to recovering, depending on the severity ofc.
      First is the normal one, where you need to avoid stress and the next one being getting your strength back to even.
      I injured my knee big time, and my right hand was jacked up too both in short intervals. While i did light free weight training, the moment i got done with my Fysio, i started to do controlled calisthenics.
      Meaning, i had help close up. :)
      It really helped me, tho it was painful. But now i walk straight and can jump. But things like squats were absolute hell whether i was falling over or just the burn. ^^
      Weight training was difficult because my body wanted to shift the weight pretty much automatically to reduce the stress on the weakened muscle group but with calisthenics, even if i screwed up a little, it still wasn't AS bad.
      Why i wrote this here is because i'd like to know your stand on this? This comes from my personal experience. :)

    • @PictureFit
      @PictureFit  8 лет назад +7

      Yea, listen to your PT or doctor. I can't comment on it because I don't know the specifics of your injury nor am I a qualified professional to treat such injury. I deal more with preventative care.

    I gave up all apparent sugar and ate only sour dough bread because my MD said that I was diabetic thru my A1C last Oct.' 18. Three months later I had reversed my A1C , and I lost 34 lbs., from 234 to 200 lbs. . Wow and I feel better but tempted by sugar everywhere, I have given in a few times but never binged. Just had my blood draw today so I'll find out next week
    Yikes ! 😎

    I used to be very low body fat in high school (I was playing football and running 3 hours a day), but in college I had a hard time maintaining low body fat and my six pack baybeeee ;)
    I have tried so many things to keep the fat off, including increased cardio workouts and diet plan changes.
    I can say with utter certainty that this video is so perfectly accurate for how to lose weight.
    I am a mesomorph, more towards the heavier side.
    I am 5'8" and started out this new regiment weighing 167 pounds. I definitely wasn't fat, abs were slightly present but you could see fat on stomach and obliques mostly, a bit in my face too.
    I started an intermittent fasting diet, I removed bread from my diet along with lactose (I have a skin allergy to it) and most high carb foods (occasionally I eat brown rice).
    I do not eat until somewhere between 12pm-2pm every day for lunch.
    I eat around 7pm-9pm for dinner every day.
    Both meals are high protein foods (chicken, beef, tuna, cold cuts without bread, sometimes even chicken nuggets, sushi, fish, turkey, etc.).
    To supplement this, I eat vegetables with some weird tasting ranch bc it doesn't have dairy, a little ranch won't hurt you.
    I will sometimes drink coffee in the morning or between meals to stave off the hunger, but sometimes I will have a small snack like nuts or avocado between lunch and dinner if I'm really starving.
    I do not drink many beverages other than water, but some nights I go out and stick to whiskey or straight shots (lowest calories).
    I fasted like that for about two weeks, lifting 5 times a week, and got down to 157 pounds.
    I now maintain this diet (which has become easier as my body adapted) and have been doing this for close to two months now, maintaining that 157 pounds. I probably lost about 7 pounds my first week alone (prob a lot of water weight).
    I feel great, my poops are solid and fantastic, (plus they hardly smell bad), don't fart much either, and my body is a very low percentage of body fat. I am also lifting as much as I did in high school, if not more.
    The hardest thing is staying disciplined, but if you can form a habit out of two weeks, you will see RESULTS!
    Everyone's body is different, I would not recommend this to an ectomorph and you may take longer to hit that target weight if you're an endomorph (though people with more fat tend to lose it faster).
    Best of luck to you. Have confidence and remember that you can DO it and it's worth it in the end, it gets easier not harder.

      U can do both, hiit is okay on calories per time. On a cut usually u need to continue the weightraining for the proteic synthesis, cortisol its something normal.

    • @ReasonableRadio

      Is it true that high intensity isn't good for fat loss? I have heard the opposite

    • @TheAlkarin
      @TheAlkarin 6 лет назад +5

      Is the opposite. Cortisol its something that ur body create after intense workouts. There are too many advantage from hiit than disadvantages, mostly on time consumed so. Yep
      But also resistance training is something necessary, cause u force ur body too consume more the fat of ur body, and u can do it even just walking or something.

      Shortcuts are stupid tbh, if you really want it, you work for it. Short cuts only last for a short period of time, so one month your stomach is flat, the next month you're back to where you started. Carbs give you energy. Carbs are your friends. Carbs are what your body burn on for energy when you're working out. You need carbs.

      When you go on a Keto diet your body produces ketones. Ketones have a muscle sparing effect. Hence you'll burn stored fat and keep your lean muscle mass.

    • @MeadeSkeltonMusic

    • @mr.meeseeks5216
      @mr.meeseeks5216 8 лет назад +1

      Not at all Meade. People who have diabetes will often die if they go into ketosis. Ketosis is very natural, diabetes isn't.

    • @Jack_X075
      @Jack_X075 7 лет назад +15

      Muscles do not get "burnt" for energy. Muscles are not an energy source for burning.
      Muscles by their nature require certain amount of energy to "maintain' or function. The more pounds of muscles you have, the more energy they will consume to stay there.
      A low carb diet causes muscles loss because the amount of sustaining energy required by your biceps and triceps is just not there.
      If you don't do resistance training while fasting or low carb dieting, that signals to the body that your muscles are dead weight right now. They are not needed, and hence will be the first or rather quite early to go in case of a caloric deficit.

      i was merely suggesting it as an additional thing you can do while at work or something. Try holding ur belly in for 5 minutes and see how you feel. imo it will burn more calories helping you towards the 500 calorie deficit you suggest.
      to add: obviously doing the belly thing by itself isnt going to help much it adds much hey.

    Part of that's false. Let's say your body needs 2000 calories a day to stay the same. He made it sound like you need to burn over 2000, to get any weight loss. If you did this, you would just cancel out all he food you ate and you would literally have no energy. You just need to eat let's say 1500 calories a day, which is a pound of weight loss a week, if you need 2000 a day. Now you can cut out those 500 calories by not eating them, or by working them off. You tell me which is easier... Eating a different food, or sweating for hours a week?

      "Eating 2500 calories a day, but you only end up burning 2000"
      That's saying over the whole day, you ended up getting only 500 calories when you need well over 1000 depending on your size

    • @servantofthelamb7880
      @servantofthelamb7880 8 лет назад

      You're just using the energy you consume, and it all evens out to 500 calories of energy in that day. To maintain you need much more. If you burned MORE than you consumed, wouldnt you be only burning whatever you ate, plus more?

    • @PictureFit
      @PictureFit  8 лет назад

      +jerry spinelli The burning is taking account everything, including your daily needs from just sitting around, aka TDEE. It does not apply to just your exercises. No way people are going to burn 2500 calories from an exercise alone, unless they're hanging out in the gym for 3 hours a day.

      Dylan Hale eating healthy refers to WHAT, HOW and WHEN we eat. To live healthy observe WHAT YOU DO (activities) between those meals.

    1.) Lose weight, burn fat
    2.) The most correlated item to weight change and fat loss is total daily calorie expenditure
    3.) First at least, eat less, and move more but don’t just keep doing this! Sooner or later you may need to change diet as you gain muscle
    4.) Include resistance training!! 5.) There is no way to specifically spot reduce!
    6.) Low-intensity and normal cardio may result in losing lean muscle mass; make sure you have a stimulus for keeping muscles; e.g. resistance training
    7.) Try keto diet or intermittent fasting if you’re willing (not too necessary to see results) but you must make sure energy balance is in check - eat the right calorie amounts

      Train until you faint, and then and only then you wil experience Heaven, after being in Hell. That works for me. Nothing makes me feel more happy than training until my body can't make any other movement at all.

    I know only one way to get a flat belly instantly.
    Cut off that belly with a sharp tool. Repeat until flat in case of intestine spillage etc.
    Also, the fact you'll be dead soon enough pretty much guarantees that your belly will stay flat for the foreseeable future! Although, dunno if skeletons can be said to have flat bellies. They tend to be seriously underweight. Oh well, at least you'll have a flat belly until you decompose. It has to count for something!

    This is my experience with losing weight. My dream is to lose my fat around my lower back, stomach and chest. I stopped eating the humongous amounts I used to and I go to the gym 5 times a week anyways. I do cardio every day. Reduced my calorie intake to around 1800 & cut my carb intake replacing a lot of it with protein. Result: I've gone from 87Kg to 75.2Kg in 2 months. It was really easy honestly and I only had a few cheat days with near to no cravings.
    Keep trying people, it'll happen eventually with effort and the amount of time will be cut the more you try.
    (16 year old male, 173cm.)
    Edit: "I bet you lost a lot of muscle." Believe me or not, I didnt. My strength remained untouched and my physique is just slimmer.

  • @KungFuChopstick

    I need to fart so bad

  • @kyleb2044
    @kyleb2044 6 лет назад

    Pretty well explained. Another reason carbs are generally bad is many of them spike blood sugar, which spikes insulin, which stores excess sugar as fat. I won't go into too much detail but in general you will eat more when your diet is high in high glycemic index foods. So cut out the grains and sugars, eat more veggies, meats, good fats etc. You'll find weight loss much much easier.

    Exercise should be something you enjoy! Don’t just do weights and running if you don’t enjoy it. I do swimming, weights, and climbing for exercise and I enjoy it. If you don’t like it you won’t stick with it, and fitness is all about sticking with it.

      not at all. metabolism is only affected after either a massive chemical change (chemotherapy, drugs, certain infections) or a very long period without food (3 days solid , for example).

    • @alavroff01
      @alavroff01 8 лет назад +5

      +vinipl87 Fasting isn't really a good idea to persist in health... It works for weeks or months but you can't fast forever. When you fast you're glycemy goes down, and normally you eat a big meal after, which will get your glycemy up. The best way is to eat 4 or 5 times a day and to have your glycemy the most stable as possible.

    the advanced part is that heat can indirectly help burn stubborn fat. (myofascial) adhesion as a result of it being there for years, you have to massage and heat some parts. im not talking about a newbie who needs/wants an overall improvement,im talking about bodybuilding. or, take a sauna workout (carefull not to pass out) : hot summer day, winterclothes, plastic bag or foil. did it once, got a lot more health into my skin and thus my gains were wasily achieved after that one session.
