one of his biggest problems is that he grips the club twisted shut in is hands. if he stands closer he will never be able to keep that clubface square. so in order to somehow keep it square at impact he needs to stand very far from it. otherise eveything will be a snaphook left.
@longdrivebryce It's leading to standing further away. otherwise he will have no room to turn and come from the inside. you can have a strong grip thats fine. but you cannot twist the golf club shut in the set up.

Interesting point! Chicken or the egg, does the strong grip lead to standing further away from it, or vice versa 🤔
