This video is phenomenal. You have to practice the snapping motion by NOT worrying about the club face(at first). The desire to square the face is what keeps players from doing this. If someone told you to hit a golf ball off the tee, using a golf shaft only, with no head on it, you would 100% smack it with speed. Go to the range with this image, and just see where the ball goes. Then, adjust your grip accordingly.
Hey Adam. Been watching you for years. My biggest issue is just before impact I tighten up and my elbows separate. Do you have a drill or two for that? I have a whole different game when I manage to stay relaxed and swing smoothly and fluidly, with my arms together. But that happens so rarely. I'm beginning to think it's just not in me to be able to swing through with soft arms letting gravity and physics do their thing. HELP!
Thanks. Hard to comment without seeing your swing, but maybe do some half shots cultivating the feel that the club shaft pops past the left arm through impact. This energy in the club might make the arms look better
A recent finding is thinking of snapping my lead leg straight to initiate the downswing, improves my accuracy & distance with the club whipping through the hitting area, seems to coincide with what I'm seeing here on the follow through, my contact seems to have improved not steering or casting the club like I used to.

Thanks for the comment Jamie
One of my favorite swings...we would all do well to try and emulate Adam's tempo and his rhythm.
Thanks very much!
