My favorite uncle was drinking, slipped off of a curb that he was stepping up on, hit his head, walked home and passed away while sleeping....he was only 36. The simplest movements can be tragic. My condolences to her family and friends.

This happen to my son's friend in Florida. He fell off the balcony while parting with some friends. He broke a lot of bones and to this day he still seems a little off in the head but thank God he's still alive.
Rip to her never was familiar with her work, but this is really tragic. I’m recovering for an injury almost similar to her and I’m very fortunate that I came out alive with my ordeal. My prayers and condolences goes out to her family

This happened to a friend of mine. He went to Florida @ spring break & was drunk & fell off a balcony to his death. Very very tragic & sad, but it happens😵! My deepest sympathies to her family! Sending love, light, prayers, & positive energy from KY

Balconies railings are pretty high. You can’t just fall over. There are federal guidelines because of children. Must’ve been climbing the rail, or standing on furniture. But still, its pretty hard to fall over.

Alcohol + Balcony or some rooftop is never a good combination. People should always stay far away from any dangerous places when drinking/being drunk (also no cars). Its sad that so many people think that they are invincible

Her girlfriend said that so it’s sketchy. It should be noted that Lesbians are the most dangerous in relationships, there are twice as many reports of Domestic violets within the lesbian community and that includes gay couples where two men are involved with each other. Just wholesale believing a woman that was at the scenes is not a good quality. I never understood why people don't party in underground clubs or regulated levels rather than all these stories up in the air. I guess for the thrill of heights maybe? Still not worth your life.

Or they did it at a hotel, which we've done many times in our younger day and that's all that was available- above floors, floor level is always first to go
Darian went to my Elementary school. She was a couple grades below me and was in my brothers class. The entire Parker elementary family is devastated by her loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family so that they will have the strength they need during this very difficult time!
I know of at least two other people who fell from hotel balconies while intoxicated. I think if we knew how many people per year this happens to, we would all be astounded. Prayers to her family. May God send them his strength and peace.

facts. It's ironic because I just watched a youtube video titled "This Is How Dangerous Balconies Can Be During Spring Break". Look it up in the search. You should never play on balconies especially when drinking. I know some people like to sit on the ledges in such. All in takes is one false move.

This happened to a girl from my HS she was at a college party & fell from the third floor to her death.. but as her way down since the homes were close together(this was in Philly), she was hitting the side of the building is what I was told 😮

Been up on a high rise like that at a party before and you can't even get me out on the patio without heavy convincing and even then I stay glued to the wall. Palms are sweaty knees weak arms are heavy. Unfortunate and terrifying.

I'm reluctant to drink inside at a high rise, no way I'm going out on the balcony. Standing on the patio furniture drunk thirteen floors up is absolutely crazy if that's truly what happened.

in my hometown there was a parking garage like 4 stories high with pure concrete on the bottom. you could see the whole town on top. all the college kids would always jump right on the edge on the very top and sit with their feet dangling down. I remember all the risks i took when i was her age thinking I was invincible. now im in my early 30s and a glaucoma suspect with failing eyes and a chronic illness😂😂 let's just say i had a little too much fun in my 20s. So all you wild and crazy kids BE CAREFUL

@@FaithandNova lol i do and it really helps. I'm not in any pain thankfully but I do get dizzy spells and and some days i just have to stay inside and cancel plans. im gonna start exercising just so i can better manage the dizzy spells😋

Don’t worry, you won’t just fall over one. So you can remove that from your list of worries. You would have to willingly take yourself to the edge of one of those and start doing stupid sh!t like standing on top of the balcony railing, getting sh!t faced while hanging out on a balcony or trying to stand on top of furniture while you’re close to the edge of a balcony (you would not really have any good reason to be trying to stand on top of furniture if you’re hanging out on the balcony of a high rise building especially on the higher floors, just basic common sense).
Now, if you choose not to use simple basic common sense whenever you find yourself in such situations, then you shouldn’t regret anything on your way down because it will be 100% your fault…
She was so beautiful and had so much more to accomplish. This incident is so sad. May she rest in heaven.

My 77 year old father fell from tge 14th floor balcony of his apartment. He was suffering from tge flu and was delusional. My step mom went to parking garage to get car to take him to hospital and in tge 6 minutes she was gone, he went out on the balcony and fell. It was terrible. I feel for this family

I knew of a girl in Manassas VA who was pushed from a balcony at a house party. She survived but was paralyzed for life and its horrific to know who ever did it got away with it.....that weird little city in VA is horrible and I would never go back around those parts
