I don't know. In 2015 Texas refused to charge a father for catching somebody molesting his daughter and beat him to death. The time gap is going to be an issue for some people as they didn't catch him BUT if I'm on the jury you couldn't convince me to vote guilty for my life. We would be in that jury room for weeks and still not guilty

Many thanks and much respect for these three young men. Protecting an innocent child from rape and assault should never be labeled as a bad thing. Those young men are hero's. They did what needed to be done. They saved others from suffering they same pain as their sister. They did what the law and state didn't or wouldn't do. They ended the terror and disgusting deeds.
They had no evidence, all they had was her story.
It’s very possible he was innocent of the crime (people have been wrongly accused), it’s also why we have due process and cannot have people taking the law into their hands.
Also, just because someone was guilty of a previous crime doesn’t mean they’re guilty for another.
That’s why Weinstein’s conviction in NY was overturned, because they used previous unrelated cases during his prosecution.
Street Justice happens when normal justice system fails to protect its people.
Those teenagers did what they were supposed to do: protect their sibling. Their monster of a stepfather gets absolutely no sympathy from me. And if they wanted to prevent this “tragedy” of the stepfather’s death, the Law should’ve acted when the charges came up the first time.

I can! Well before Hollywood was popularizing the "Me Too" movement, I was literally one of the "Me First" generation.
At 5 years old, I was shackled naked to a basement jackpost, left in pitch black conditions for 3 days, no food, no water, and no visitors. It was then, at 5 years old, I realized my own mortality.
The beatings and abuse were a daily event. The sexual abuse started around 7 years old, with another sibling and a family friend.
I was sexual abused by three girls every day for 16 years and when I was expelled from school, my parents had me shipped off to Vietnam

These kids need to be let go. And given several years of counseling to guide them through this. They felt like they had no choice. Who knows how many other victims are out there. And how many more were saved by this. How he was even allowed to live with minors with an active child molestation warrant is beyond me. Where was the lady of the house in all this??
Sometimes the mother's are complacent to the man's abuse and will allow it to happen and turn a blind eye. There is a reason why the boys took it upon themselves to protect there little sister. As a survivor, that's what happened in my situation and dpss and the cops still failed to permanently removing me from my parent's care.

The laws in the US do not protect children well enough. These kids saw no other way to fix a really bad situation that otherwise would have been allowed to grow even worse than it already was.

I think these boys are heroes. As a woman who has never ever ever been protected by a man in my entire life, I’m so happy that little girl got to see some justice. I hope she won’t be further hurt or traumatized by losing the men in her life who truly love her and did what was necessary to avenge her innocence. I hope she sleeps safe at night now.

I do agree with you but consider the implications of simply letting people kill someone. If they hail them as heroes then every person falsely accused of being a pedophile is I'm great danger of being murdered. Think about it , all you would have to do to get away with murder is kill someone and say he molested you . The real problem is that the authorities dropped the ball . Now why that happened is not necessarily known at this point. It could be as simple as not enough people available to investigate and bring these offenders to justice with the current climate of cop and authority bashing. This is hilarious. The law put out a non-urgent warrant for the father and essentially turned a blind eye, but immediately swooped in and “saved the day” when a band of brothers avenged their sister and the victims before her. They should be hailed as heroes, not villains.

If there is no evidence the law can't protect anything. That is why that piece of s*** mom should have been watching her kids a little bit better. Those kids should have got some evidence. If they were unable to then I believe that what they did was 110% justified there are times and situations where you can't collect evidence but you know something's going on and if you don't stop it it can snowball into a huge effect with more than just that one little girl that he was doing it too. The sad fact is as stated, far too many people produce children who shouldn't, but do anyway and this is one of the results. It's a huge social problem that needs to be seriously addressed and changed.
This is how bad it's become- a friend worked for Social Security, he told me about a case where a couple from thexUS adopted an Asian baby girl who had serious developmental problems, basically had the mind of a child, totally clueless, but as she matured into her teens she was molested by the adopted father and then when caught by the wife, the pos couple just dumped her into Protective Services hands. So what happened? Her FEMALE PS officer drove her down to the local homeless shelter, pulled up to the curve, told her to get out of the car, then told her, " Good luck." and drove off. I'm 100% serious. If the shelter employees hadnt seen her get put out and rushed to help her they said, " She'd have been snatched up, sold for prostitution and be potentially killed within days." They arranged for her to get help, thank God, but thats just one example of how broken the system is currently, something has to be done. Oh, of course the pos parents suffered no punishment or any negative repercussions from their abuse and abandonment of the poor girl. Parents do need to be held accountable for such behavior when so often they're not.

Why are they being charged? They deserve a Medal of Honor. The punishment fit the crime. Why doesn’t the judicial system deal with these sadistic perverts properly so other people don’t have to? If he’s had multiple charges for ongoing sexual abuse of a child then the fault is with the judicial system. If there were stronger penalties for crimes of abuse (sexual and physical) against children then even though it may not be a deterrent if handled properly with Capital punishment then a potential victim can be saved but so many pedophiles are in high places. And I say Capital punishment because abuse kills something inside a person and when you hurt a child, you have destroyed what they could’ve been and the life they could’ve had free of painful memories and the strife that they now have to live through everyday.

As a sexual abuse survivor, I salute these young men and hope their motives were indeed to protect their little sister. I wish I had brothers like she did. So many children are abused sexually, physically and emotionally and the judicial system does nothing about it. Yet, they're quick to arrest some kids for handling the problem themselves.
Give them house arrest they would rather jail children for killing a man that was already harming children. I fucking hate this country's court system and yet they would rather idle for whether or not we should jail actual murders and rapists and get a short sentence (I may add) like its a waste in tax dollars let them go

As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I want these three young men to know they will always have supporters. No matter what sentence they get, they will always be heroes in my eyes, and the eyes of their younger sister.

For the girls, he got 30 years. The police said it was the worst case of child sexual abuse ever recorded in the states history.
The detective who worked the case was so distraught with the gravity and scope of the abuse that she attempted suicide. Thankfully she was unsuccessful.
My ex and her entire family, had their parental rights removed from them for life! Any contact, by phone, letter, even in public, and you're going to jail!

@@Flying-Chicken that was only the beginning. It really didn't get much better for the kids as all of them suffered from the psychological trauma from this. I mean each one handles what they're capable of handling. Anything else puts them into overload.
I know what they went through. Starting at age 5, until I was 16, I was tortured daily by a evil stepfather, and sexually abused by 3 family members and 1 family friend. You just don't heal overnight I'm afraid.
