Another Day Miniatures, Thank you for your videos. I have a problem with depression and your videos inspire me to keep painting and keep trying. I look forward to your videos, I hope you have a nice day and week and year.
❤
Thank you so much mate, greatest compliment to know that my videos can inspire during difficult times. Hope you have brighter days ahead, and your passion for painting continue to bring you joy. Painting always helps me to get my mind off things.
Love the back story!
Cheers! Never know if people like that part, but I always have fun making up stories for all my projects. I usually record about 10-20 minutes of just that and trim it all the way down.
can't wait to see the next marines in this kill team.
loking good mate. i love the idea of Primaris Blackshields i never thought of that.
for some reason they give me space gladiator fibes.
Thanks mate, I know what you mean, I think it's their poses that give me that vibe.
Ayo! Let's go!
Holy! It's Mr Bones here to break the 4th wall 😄
Again, giving a great background lore/story to bring these models to life and make them feel like they belong in the 40k universe. Can't wait to see the rest of the squad.
Cheers!
Looks Great! I honestly adore your content!
Thank you!
Great kitbashing, I could see the second one in my loyalist army actually. There is no good guy in the 41st millennium.
Thanks!
I feel like Mr. bone's skull would have fit well over one of the Phobose shoulder pads, or maybe a standard rimless shoulder pad. As far as idea's for the rest of your kill team goes I saw someone cut a chunk out of a space marine shoulder pad and then fit some granny grating into the hole to make a very awesome damaged armor effect.
Ooo the grating idea is awesome, I'll have to see if I have any meshes small enough and give it a try.
Thank you for the video! I'll be looking forward to other kill team members!
Cheers! I have a solid idea for two of them, and thinking about the remaining two at the moment,.
Quill looks brilliant, mate, they all look like something out of an old piece of artwork :)
Thanks mate :)
This is awesome my friend. Glad you did some scavengers
Cheers!
I really like the idea of renegade Space Marines that have become scavengers out of desperation and survival.
Also do you plan on taking requests for more conversion/kitbash ideas?
Cheers! Yeah, I'm always interested in hearing ideas. I'll be honest though, most of the time, I get too distracted and forget even my own ideas. However, I often think of suggestions during a different kitbash and implement elements of it there.
@@AnotherDayMiniatures That's cool, I may have an idea or two I'd like to see as physical models
Heretic, but very cool idea. Look forward to see the rest of the team. 👍🏻
Inquisition will never catch me! Cheers mate :)
@@AnotherDayMiniatures 😂👍🏻
So I play Iron Warriors on the tabletop and technically that would mean I collect Chaos Space Marines, but I don't, as I tend to go for a less chaosy look (my IW really don't like Chaos and just want to fight the war) So I found the best stuff to use for that is the Horus Heresy marine kits. The beauty of it is since they have several armour marks available in plastic its really simple to mix and match and you can keep a pure Firstborn force if you want. Can even use the old tactical kits if you want some mish-mash MK7s. This also works for any renegades who have to mix and match all their armour over the years.
Yeah, the new Horus Heresy stuff is great. I've used them for several projects in the past, mainly the Mark VI, and the kit itself has some great bits to use in general.
@@AnotherDayMiniatures Yeah they're great. I tend to use the MKVI as a base model to put things on, mostly because I like its backpack the most. And with the recent upgrade to the MKIII it semi feels like another armour mark because of how different it is. Result is a nice eclectic feel to my army whose story is they're relying on whatever Imperial stuff they've been able to loot over the millennia
The Mark III power pack is a bit whacky, but the armor overall is awesome. If I didn't have so many Mark VI bodies from the Horus Heresy box, I probably would have picked up some by now. That's awesome, sounds like that army is lot of work but well worth it!
Maybe so some Tyranid armour like the Phobos lutenent from Leviathan
That's a great idea, I have a similar 3d printed piece left over from the Blackshields video, would be perfect for one of them. I'll have to see if I can find it.
Think a name around vultures could work well for these guys, could fit using more mk6 bits to
Ooo, that's an awesome idea! In hindsight, if I had made that connection, I probably would have gone for a lot more beakies. Could have also painted them in a color scheme similar to one of the vultures. I'll try and remember that for a future project and try to use an animal theme.
Almost forgot to mention, there are several Inquisitorial appearances in this video. 'Where's Wally' 40k Edition 😄
These models are amazing! What blue is that?
Thank you, it's Anthracite by AK
I'm not a fan of edge highlighting either. Your way to add highlights look so much better.
Cheers, I have very shaky so I try to avoid edge highlights when I can.
Are you ok?? Your hands shakes a lot
😄 Yeah I have naturally shaky hands, and too much coffee makes it even more pronounced.
@@AnotherDayMiniatures Lemme guess, essential tremors? I’ve got those too.
'Mr. Bones' is also the name of a Sega Saturn game, with some interesting ideas.
That's awesome! The other Mr. Bones I can think of is the droid from Star Wars.
