this is literally the only show that discusses the album instead of having the guest speak about gossip and unrelated topics to the ALBUM. lovely and refreshing.
Pusha T seems like such a laid back genuine dude. It amazes me how different his demeanour is in the music it's almost like it's a release for him which is why he's able to stay so grounded day to day.
I feel people have confused Pusha T as more of a business man than a rapper (mostly due to being president of G.O.O.D music) and he has been slept on for a while. He is one of the best lyrically and I feel his album will be remembered for a long time, can’t wait for tomorrow 🙌
kehma johnson i feel like a lot of artists dont take this as serious as they should. Some times the cover art doesn’t translate to what the actual music is, or worse for me the music doesnt hold up to the cover art. Me personally i didnt feel like coles music and direction held up to what that cover art portrayed on KOD.
tru but if they could track down iconic cover art from back in the day like they sometimes do with deconstructed and 90's boom bap beats and explain it. it could work (SN: if genius uses this idea all i need is a s/o unless they want to cut a check)
Stop saying this man is underrated 😂 everyone knows him but sucks at making music💯 but a pure lyricist. Not everyone can’t relate to selling drugs when that’s all he talks about like sheeeesh
@14:55 "Now that the tears dry and the paint takes over, let's talk this payola. You killed Gods baby when it wasn't his will and blood spill, we can't talk this shyt over!" I felt that🔥
Drake’s an underrated lyricist. Is he better than Push? probably not, but he has an extremely broad vocabulary & utilizes literary devices with no remorse. I’m not talking about Hotline Bling. I’m taking about Diplomatic Immunity, Draft Day, 5am In Toronto & 4pm In Calabasas. Two Birds One Stone is also the epitome of his lyricism.
Cormel Feliciano listen, Pusha has been doing this shit since the late 90s & ‘drake’s’ peak lyricism is light work for pusha. The only way drake wins is through ignorant fans just automatically taking his side.
Yo more people should be like Pusha and Ye. Even though we all have our political stances it shouldn't get in the way of our love for eachother. The only way we can accomplish peace and love is to drop our political bius and look at what we all are: human.
Amen to that! Despite not seeing eye to eye with anyone on this Earth I will ALWAYS understand, respect and appreciate that we are all, like you said, *human*.
Took me a while to accept Rob onto my hip-hop board of directors but he has scrapped his way on in there. Shout out to you Rob! You still corny af but from a writer's perspective, you conduct a hell of an interview. Even placing artists in more of a hip-hop element relaxes them into spilling their guts! I haven't heard hardly any repeat information. Normally the BC and Hot 97 interviews are EXACTLY THE SAME. Way to offer a unique experience! Good job
4youreyezonly na silly his shit is catchy 😂😂 shit like numbers on the board . body work... And plz everyone who listen to his music dont sell shit let alone bricks
Keep up the hood work.I enjoyed the laid back,& non-pressure interview.Pusha T is so calm & confident. He is a talented, thoughtful & conscious artist.I hope that him & Drake could squashed their differences & come together & create a record.
I liked his take on Hilary and Trump too. Hilary was so hard to stomach but at the end of the day she was the lesser of two evils. Sad really. Prison reform is probs the most overlooked issue in America today.
I don't know, I kind of agree with Racist Frog lol. The prison issue is a nanny-state, a big government issue. The government shouldn't be dictating what free people can and cannot do. Laws are to protect innocent people. Not to punish people who make choices that you don't like. President Trump seems to agree with this. Democrats as a whole disagree with it. Stop voting for supporters of big government if you dislike nanny-state policies.
Push is way to advanced for the mainstream. Just like how there are good wines for 30 Dollars but people rather drink 10 bottles of cheap wine. 7 Tracks but insane quality. Quality over quantity any time.
this is literally the only show that discusses the album instead of having the guest speak about gossip and unrelated topics to the ALBUM. lovely and refreshing.
check mine out too!
Rob markman imo is the best hip hop interviewer

*read in pusha t rap cadence*
The lonely blue Whale Bruh he deserves it tbh haha
The lonely blue Whale : very well said. People don't get it, it's literally an art to be genuinely humble & cocky at the same time.
The lonely blue Whale yea I was thinking the same thing. Let’s say cocky in a humble way! lol 🤔😉
Perfection

AHHHHH, LMAO, I am dieing, that's funny!!! 😭 😭 😭
Pusha T seems like such a laid back genuine dude. It amazes me how different his demeanour is in the music it's almost like it's a release for him which is why he's able to stay so grounded day to day.
i feel like Push is a real one for riding with Kanye, through all the bull he's getting. now THAT'S loyalty, take notes people.
I really rate this interviewer. Always asks such genuine questions and looks interested throughout but without fanboying too much either.

Fr trynna look like Jimmy hendrix and shit, but failed epically
hahaha

Drake is the biggest Clipse Pusha T fan EVER! Check the clip from the MTV show 'When I was 17'. Drake bought a Pusha T signed mic for $200 from ebay.
studioAMAZING
Drake is 31 years old now...things change.
Exactly. Drake was also fucking with Pharrell and the whole Neptunes vibe which includes The Clipse. Deep down Drake is a Clipse fan lol.
Therefore a student could never defeat the master.
Dude 41 and looks like he's still in his 20s
1942 merlow!
Push keeps 90’s hip hop vibes alive with how real he is
I feel people have confused Pusha T as more of a business man than a rapper (mostly due to being president of G.O.O.D music) and he has been slept on for a while. He is one of the best lyrically and I feel his album will be remembered for a long time, can’t wait for tomorrow 🙌
Newinflux it’s fire
the great are always misunderstood!
lowkey waiting for genius to come up with a segment where they focus on the designing process and idea behind album cover artwork
kehma johnson i feel like a lot of artists dont take this as serious as they should. Stop saying this man is underrated 😂 everyone knows him but sucks at making music💯 but a pure lyricist. Not everyone can’t relate to selling drugs when that’s all he talks about like sheeeesh
And CyHI
yes! this album is classic!
I love that he said that he doesn't have stuff to rap about all the time. Artists and Bands should take their time to make their art.
2:40
if the whole industry only rapped when they had something to rap about then every weekend would be as lit as this one has been, goddamn
wow.. preach!
@14:55 "Now that the tears dry and the paint takes over, let's talk this payola. You killed Gods baby when it wasn't his will and blood spill, we can't talk this shyt over!" I felt that🔥
OoWee BJizzle Can you explain this to me?
Can you explain it to me too?🙏🏽Respectfully
It is the first four or so bars of a song on his new album called Santeria, Pusha just analyzes its significance.
That beat is so hard
Ivan it’s a song about his road manager who was stabbed and killed.
Still waiting on that Clipse reunion album..
Not happening...We have to be happy with their classics lol
No Malice will never ever do it
Malice turned it down.
Brandon Haymon And Till The Casket Drops
He needs to collaborate with 👑 kendrick again

Great video/interview. But the shaky camera and the zoom ins are a little weird and distracting
Aubrey needs to get his fucking shinebox / Push making Clipse bangers when Aubrey was on set at Degrassi High
He laid back like Jay Z
