this album took hours of time and dedication. don’t minimize it to 20min. thats why you can make a 16min, hell you could make an hour video talking about it.
How the hell kanye gonna spend 85000 on pusha t’s album but then on Kanye’s album he takes a photo on a plane of some mountains and writes a caption on it and calls it a day
Push's album was high profile luxury, earning an 85k pricetag for a fitting cover, while ye was introspective, minimalistic, honest and basically an exposition on Kanye's mental health, so i feel like the cover is fairly justified for both and yeah mania b like that lol
You explained the album cover better than anyone else.. Personally I think it was a great representation of the album. Personified this unapologetic, successful drug Lord that pusha is, and also was the perfect mix of high class living and coke that the album seems to be.
Pusha T has been a top 5 rapper for a long time. Good to see he's finally getting the recognition as one of the greats by the majority, rather than just hardcore hip hop/music heads.
A lot of people complain to me that I watch too many video essays. So I definitely watch alot of these and I gotta say yours are a favorite of mine. These are some of my favorite videos ever. Keep it up, man!
What did you guys think of NASIR? I had a convo with Tony Williams fest on BONJOUR. Also Kanye’s long time collaborator ruclips.net/video/gxGPVPFzAn4/видео.html
1) If You Know You Know (tie) 1)) The Games We Play (tie) 3) Infrared 4) Santeria (tie) 4) What Would Meek Do (tie) 6) Come Back Baby 7) Hard Piano Album Of The Motherfucking Year. And You Talking Bout You Upset.
Kanye's Wyoming run will always be legendary and ahead of its time. Four years later at the peak of the streaming era, artists have 30 songs on their album just so people can put it on their playlists. We need short, but powerful albums that tells stories in less than 25 minutes. Daytona, Ye, and Kids See Ghosts are peak examples of what the currently culture might not want, but desperately needs.
i feel like the connection was with shady business and the italian mafia, which was heavily involved in the drug trade. the mafia referred to their business as "our thing"

This is why you have to appreciate Pusha. The amount of thought he puts into his music. Great job with the video btw, you made me appreciate this man's craft a bit more.
I have RESPECT for Pusha. He's a humbled rapper. I am happy for all his success......LET'S SUPPORT PUSHA HE DESERVES IT....Kanye, is A BEAST. This is THE OLD Kanye we used to know when he dropped College drop out.
He's a really well read and educated man. It's spills in his lyrics and ability to communicate with anyone. Wow. I didn't realize he was that well spoken off the tracks. Wow
Damn for a good while in the video I thought this was stripped from some special dvd documentary of the album, this is some solid quality content, you earned a subscribe from me
My man, you deserve so many subs. Just found your RUclips channel today but your videos are such a delight to watch and listen too. Too good of videos for the amount of subs you have. You deserve it all
Excellent video - The production & lyrics have a very luxurious feel which is a juxtaposition to theme of street culture. Great album his best one to date.
I wished you listed the background music in the description cause it's so fuckin good. Put that shit on loop. Every video you make the background music cold, wish there was a playlist of it on Spotify or Apple Music or something. I would listen to that all day.
I cant believe you gave us almost 16 minutes of information and research about an album thats 20 minutes long.Thats dedication. Thank you.
Much love!
@James Schultz * Est.1982 not even close.

it was originally supposed to be a picture of the plastic surgeon that killed his mom, but the guy threatened legal action
Maybe it the continuity of drugs money laundry.
I don't like saying classic

Big Saq
It’s a bonafide classic. Don’t hide from it. I know it and you know it.

99% of people wouldn't have known those originals for the samples if they weren't revealed here, nice one. Great sampling as usual by YE.
To be honest, everyone who want to know can look it up on internet.
Still trying to figure out how Cardi B won against this Master Piece
Bullshit fukn Bullshit Daytona shits on her album not hate just being real.

It’s fixed my dude.
It’s a Grammy.
Macklemore beat Kendrick
Cardi Beat Travis & Pusha.
Travis>Pusha
Pusha Raps better 100%
But as a work of art..
Travis was much louder and impactful.

What music starts at 7:35?
I paused and looked in the comments for this time stamp
Ye has good ears.
Sampling a track from the 70's is like finding Vin Disel xXx movie on utorrent
😭😭😭😭😭 funniest comment I’ve ever seen
You are very good at this video making thing. Keep it up man
This Yeezy season was too hard.
see you on so many beatmaking/hip hop albums, you got good taste.
