@@BenDover-vl8xp Close to the beginning, but not really that far from the beginning because they were Saron Gas in 2000 and this is Seether 2002. They have a raw sound which has be perfected through the years, and you got to admit, they look pretty young here!
I remember this this was made in Oklahoma City at Rock 100.5 the katt fm studio's. that was the first time I ever met him was during their disclaimer two album. Damn such good memories. Thanks for that throw back. That show that night was just awesome 😎.
This is amazing. I've been listening to Seether since the beginning and hearing this is a great example of why I love them so much 20 years later. I live finding little gems like this!
Yeah. As Saron Gas they released an album in november 2000. Fine Again, 69 tea, Driven Under and Gasoline were already on that album. Imagine how long ago those songs must have been written. Then they re-recorded these songs for Disclaimer in 2002. And again those songs were re-released on Disclaimer 2 in 2004.
Really bad that we pratically don't hear Shaun's voice, the guitar is way to loud! But it's interesting to see them at 'almost their begining in the us. :)
This DJ was such a prick, I bet they left feeling indifferent to their idea of wanting to come there...regardless of the better than 10x10 ft garage setup it was compared to...That DJ acted like they could do whatever they wanted as far as music, and then made an insinuation that 'Fine Again' wasn't representative of what they are; and he nominated that song to be played first! WTF lol on top of the idiocy of making an open remark that the first song wasn't indicative of the band, as if it lyrically wasn't about Shaun's personal struggles with addiction. I'd say that song holds more meaning to them than some song about a relationship like Gasoline... 0/10 production
thanks for those nice words kylekeeg.... how nice to lean that i'm a douche, without you i would have go thru life without knowing...i welcome your words with serenity. Have a nice day!
In another interview I know he said he started singing by trying to sound like Kurt, Eddie and Layne until he found his voice. Also said all those bands were what he n the rest of the band were into when they started. Current bands, I don't know.
6:37 Fine Again
12:47 Gasoline

It is so amazing to see how Seether started out,, right from the beginning

Crazy that they would hire a drummer from OK just a few years later lmao
This is amazing. I've been listening to Seether since the beginning and hearing this is a great example of why I love them so much 20 years later. I live finding little gems like this!

Fun fact: 69 tea was the 1st song he remembers ever writing! Genius. 🤘
Gotta love Seether and Shaun Morgan!!!!!!!! "Turn it Up" (love them throwing in that Skynyrd piece)
early Shaun screams sounded like Kurt, that’s probably why he changed it up because i bet it fucked up his throat.
Holy Crap they started playing Cleopatra's Cat by the SPIN DOCTORS before they actually went live -- AWESOME!!!! I love SEETHER!!!
Shaun is a brilliant musician .. I love everything he sings ..so sexy !!

This is freaking awesome! I love to see stuff like this! Thank you so much for uploading this!
I Love Seether. Shaun is beautiful.
You can hear a very clear Nirvana influence here.
If KATT was going to have a live audience, the least they could do is set up a speaker for the mics, rather than just the monitors.
pagers! oh the nostalgia!
Really bad that we pratically don't hear Shaun's voice, the guitar is way to loud!
