Great review Barry. I always say when people criticize me for taking products to review that only about 25% ever get uploaded to my channel. Most I turn down right off the bat when I get the email. Some I receive, try out, and end up sending them back since there's not much positive to talk about. I appreciate your expertise and I'm sure it's similar for you. You respect your image and wouldn't endorse junk.
Also FYI there's a little box you should check when you upload a product demo like this. Even if the company didn't directly pay you, they did provide the product and RUclips still defines that as a paid sponsorship. You disclosed it verbally in your video, which works too but clicking that box will make an icon show up at the beginning of the video. Every country has different laws regarding paid sponsorships and this is an easy way of following the rules everywhere. I'll always elaborate verbally at the end of the video and also in the description, though that's not required.
Big fan of your channel! Keep it up.

Adam is known for great sound and quality. Thanks for the review because it is definitely interesting they have entered this market price point. My only suggestion would be it would have been awesome if you had played some content or sound samples through them and maybe A/B comparison to your AX7XS just so we could hear the differences in sound.

The T7Vs are killer. I’ve heard them at a couple places, I was actually looking into buying some! Being in a college dorm, they’re perfect for not blasting my neighbors with music while still being clear, I can’t wait to get my hands on some one day!
Also, loved your review. We need more long form music content on YT with this quality. Killer stuff man.

This is the second time I’ve watched this review. I’m currently building a mid-level project studio. I have a pair of Mackie 824s which are over 20 years old. Although it’s hard to evaluate the Adam T7V’s on RUclips, your untethered and honest enthusiasm (“absolute shock”!) for the value, sound, bass response (“stunning”) and overall clarity (“every little thing perfectly crystal clear” and “silky smooth baby!”) makes these mid-priced monitors a no-brainer (“no fault”) choice! Great job! 👌

Yesterday from this dated comment, I had ordered a pair of T7V's online. At the beginning of your review, your tone of voice and facial expression suggested that I may have made a mistake buying the Adam's. But it wasn't long into your presentation that I realize that you had a positive opinion about the T7V monitors from Adam Audio, and I didn't make a mistake. Like you, my ears detected the same wonderful responses of balance sonic ear food. Thank you so much for your exciting review and conformation of my exact conclusion about the Adam's Audio T7V's.

I've been in love with Adam monitors ever since I saw Rupert Neve use the A77X model to test his 5088 consoles for accuracy. Even though these are less expensive that the A77's,they're still Adam monitors. P.S....It's amazing to me that the negative comments as usual, are coming from the people with NO MUSICAL CONTENT posted up.

Last week I bought the KRK G4 8 monitors. Within 24 hours I had returned them to the store. They just did not sound right and I couldn't get over the hiss from just having the power on and no signal running through them. It wasn't anything to do with dirty power as my previous monitors had never had that issue.
I swapped them out at the store for a pair of Adam T7 monitors. I have never used Adam before and only had a limited knowledge of their products given the normally high end line they produce, which is out of reach for me.
I don't think I will ever use any other brand now. These are just superb in every way. I cannot fault them and they take whatever I throw at them and handle it with ease. For my studio right now, they are perfect. Absolutely perfect.
I need to start saving now for a future upgrade because....thats what we do... but I can damn well say it will be Adams again. In the meantime I am just incredibly hpy with the T7.

Thank you for your transparency.

Great video. I couldn’t agree more. The Adam Audio T7V are the best professional studio monitors you can buy today in its price range. Beside the precise, full low end and incredible separation of every instrument in a mixed song, they are also the most flat sounding speaker from the 3 T models. T5V lacks some low end and T8V has too much low end. I own the Adam Audio T7V and yes people, they are really that great! I’ve subscribed btw.

    Really nice review! Compliments!
I am searching for studio monitors and i was today in a shop and tried 4 pairs of Monitors (on the range 400-500 euro) with a lot of different music styles. Finally I could hear myself the different and beleave in my ears to makes me an opinion and i most say, definitly i already decide to by this Adam T7V. I found it more balanced than the other 3, more clarity and definition and what i would define as sound quality. I prefer not to mention the other monitors i tried, or at least which ones I took very soon out from competition, but one of them was actually quite good as well and was de Kali Audio lp6. i also liked it very much for this price range but the Adams where in my opinion enough superior to decide me to go for the Adams T7V. Actually i was also amazed!

Been on headphones for the most part and finally started looking at the Yamaha HS models and the Adam audio speakers. I’ve never heard them in person but from what you describe it makes me very interested. I was leaning towards the Yamahas but now I’ll hold off till I can hear the Adam’s in person one day. Without naming names (they know who they are :), I can't tell you how many "popular" channels in this musical product and review) genre that I used to like until they became shills for product manufactures. Thank you very much for this review. I was shocked the hear you mention how good the low-end and high-end sound on these monitors. Back in 2004, I bought a pair of M-Audio BX8s which actually sound pretty good for just casual listening. However, trying to mix on them and get my mixes to translate well on other systems has been a chore. However, I did get better results after repositioning them. With that said, they still lack in the midrange. As a result, still don't trust them alone.
I recently purchased a pair of Avatone CLA10As and they really reveal the midrange quite well especially the lower mids. When I switch between the BX8s and the CLA10As, the difference is night and day. However, the CLA10As definitely lack in bass and would definitely benefit from a good subwoofer. I also have a small pair of Yamaha MSP3s as well which sound pretty good in the upper mids and highs, but also lack bass (which is to be expected since they are small).
Now, I was surprised you mentioned the lowend sounded great on the Adam T7Vs because they have 7" low frequency drivers (which are the same size drivers as my Avatone CLA10As). Based on your review, it sounds like the Adams monitors could make a nice alternative to a subwoofer for checking the lowend balance of my mixes. I'm thinking the lowend from the T7Vs are very accurate based on your description of the lowend being very "tight." Also, I like the fact the T7Vs are full-range monitors so I would be hearing everything in its entirety as opposed to a subwoofer. The subwoofers I tried and returned just didn't have as deep enough bass as I would like. But more importantly, I was more concerned about balance and accuracy. I bet the Adams T7Vs and the Avatone CLA10As would be a great combo to mix with and switch between. I'm willing to bet my mixes would translate well to ANY sound system after mixing with only these two sets of speakers!!!! Perhaps the Adams T7V's could easily replace my BX8s.
Thanks again Berry, for this wonderful review!!!! ❤

I instinctively knew these were great when they came out. Hearing Barry confirm my thoughts in reality and not just in my head is pretty cool. I have some 5 inch Mackies that I honestly enjoy. The temptation to get these or even looking at the Eris monitors that are designed like the bad boys Barry uses in his studio is tempting as well. I don't think it would be wise to getting bigger monitors in an apartment? as I respect my neighbors.Great review tho.

lol I watched and liked this video before your latest video. I watched it again and still think that for the price, these are a fantastic paid of monitors to have! Like another poster, I also have a older (original) pair of Mackie 824 speakers...and was looking to add these to them. We'll see if dreams can come true thank you you and Adam!

You know, some of your reviews definitely come off some kinda negative way, but after watching this to enter the contest, it's very true that you're doing your best to stay unbiased. These monitors would be great as an "affordable" reference for mixes in conjunction with some higher ends monitors for sure, just to make sure everything is translating well. Nicely done!

I had been using Genelec 1032a's for years, and was sad when I needed to sell them for money reasons. I replaced them with (of all things) Tapco S-8's, and was quite surprised at how much I liked them, and have been using them ever since then with no regrets. Tried a few other things out but nothing could ever beat them in the price range. These T7V's have got me very curious though, especially with your gleaming review!

I would love to have these monitors! I have some really cheap ones, and after spending so much money on a college diploma, I ended up with too little money to invest in a pair of good monitors.
I think the twetter from Adam audio would be a great option for those who work for a long time, as the membrane doesn't cause much fatigue in the ears. And it's a great option to start in a studio, because they have a great sound, with great bass and bright top end and pleasant to listen to.
I would really like to win them at this give away!
Thanks for opening up to do it!

Adam Audio has been near the top of my monitor wish list for a while but they've always been just out of my budget. I'm surprised that these sound this good for that price point but I trust your opinion. From all your previous videos my gut tells me your review can't be bought by a manufacturer.

well darn u barry lol. after much screwballing around i have finally gone with s1. i love pro tools but.......value. about 6 months ago i bought some lp8v2 , they are great. yesterdat i bought the the t7v. thier is definitely a reason the adams products are so popular. it is nice to be able to use my monitor controller to go between the two but i cant argue that the adams products are worth every penny. and just to say the advice you give at times about saving up a bit more to buy higher quality is all true. u buy these and they can stay with u a long time. thanks always for the content.

Honestly, I am pretty impressed with these monitors. I have the Yamaha Hs8s and the woofer is a little flubby to me. After you saying these are not, I would love to get my hands on these. Great review overall, I am a big fan of your channel and watch most videos. I hope to win!

My son has a pair of these T7V monitors. We tested them beside my KRK Rokit 6" monitors and I was very surprised at the sound. I have to agree with you, for the money, they are some of the best speakers on the market.

We’re the Adams a lot more better than the KRK6 ? I’m thinking of replacing them to Adams. Had these for about 11 years now and my left XLR input is dead.

Hi Barry, I have been a subscriber for awhile now. I'm here for the Adam monitors. I could not see how to send a pic of my monitors. KRK Generation 3, 8 inch bass. I love them. They seem to match perfectly with my DT 770 pro cans. I am looking for another source for cross referencing. Hope I'm in time. Keep up the good work.

A good monitor should never sound loud when pushing.... and the way to know? When someone talks next to you , can't hear them...(and not recommended obviously for long periods.... Thats the realisation of NO distortion....
When the speaker just gets louder... And the only thing changing the mix is the room.... Thats a winner!

Impressive back panel for the price. Given the price range and your description of how they sound, it makes me wonder how accurately the monitors mirror a sound source without adding color. Looks like a good offering for the price.

I like that these have the EQ settings on the back, I find that feature useful on my 5 inch JBLs. It'd be cool to hear and compare the two side by side, especially the bass.
