Umm Romantic connections can happen without being in a relationship, I had emotional connections with a crush really deeply, nothing happen just the presence of us noticing each other, I went as far as giving her a small gift , didn't take it further cus she was playing games and I let her be... I blocked her out technically cus of the games, doesn't mean I don't like her and she doesn't like me but it's been quiet for many months
I can be attracted to my ex girlfriend, as I can be attracted to many women, but what truly will make the bond successfull is love for each other and willingness to overcome relationship issues
That is so true, gertwallen . If two people can overcome relationship issues as mature individuals, it would make the relationship grow in a more positive way. :-)

Probably not. What happened was that something was weakening her emotional connection toward you leading up to the breakup. She may have a fear of being single, so she probably primed up her ex to get back together with her so that she could go from you directly to another relationship. But her ex isn't the reason for the breakup, It was probably something that was brewing from a while leading up to it.

Hey Clay, My ex fiancé and I broke up recently and we were together for four years... needless to say I started working full time and pursue my bachelors full time. Because of that my focus has gone straight to school and she ended it because we "grew apart". She still calls me everyday after she said we were done and I took it seriously and have been working on myself and focus, but I feel she is playing games and is not telling me what she truly wants... she is looking for me to chase her but from the past I always have and I want her to chase me but she is stubborn and so am I... this has confused me but neither of us are devastated because I feel it's a bs break up that is not gonna last... any advice?

Does the 3rd sighn count if you've had some serious things happen in your life that has caused depression and anxiety? Because I'm worried I drove my ex away because of me becoming more depressed and anxious. This is something I'm currently getting help for but there were blocks in the way of me getting that help before the break up.

I was talking to my friends about the things bothering me and my friends eventually wanted to meet with him and "talk about me". Basically, he got the impression that he was hurting me and he broke up because he thought it was for the best. I'm planning to reconcile with him, but I'm not sure if I really should wait a while or not. My goal is a minimum of 2 weeks where I plan to start the talk, (not start off strongly, of course). I'm minimizing contact with him, so we don't talk a lot. But I know he really does miss me. Last time I saw him, on Sunday, he looked very sad. He gave me a hug. Do I need to try the no contact thing or can I try to reconcile with him sooner? I thought I'd be okay, but the more time that passes, the more I regret letting him go so easily!
It's really complicated. I was the one trying to initiate most of the communication during the relationship. He seemed unable/unwilling to do that sometimes.
By being honest about your own relationship and and what happened. I'm sure if you actually think about it, you can find things in your relationship that weren't working very well. That is the first place to start.
Hi Jennifer, it depends on the actions that you would take and refuse to do. Sometimes it can work for an echo breakup but you have to assess as well the depth of the reasons why the breakup happened. All the best.
You mean her daughters are messaging you? Not sure how old her kids are or exactly what your relationship is with them, but I would have the kids get mom's permission to message you, depending on the circumstance. Also, whatever you do, do NOT try to use the kids as a backdoor to your ex or in anyway try to put them in the middle of whatever is going on between you and your ex. That kind of thing can really mess up a kid. If you have any other means of communicating with her (phone number, home address, email, etc.) then use that to communicate with her.

She broke up with me case I sent her the wrong picture of my brother by mistake and I cuss at her case I didn't get no communication when it happened. It's been 3 months since she broke up with me an I wish I can talk to her but dont know how I'm about 75% right now and she changed her status in a relationship on Facebook I was hurting I just dont know what to do now I have her number but she hasn't responded since I tried
This guy is telling you what you wanna hear not the truth, obviously if your looks stay the same compared to if you were to lost weight and gained a sixpack abs which do you think would stand a better chance of getting their ex back? Also if she dumped you because your personality sucks guess what she won't take you back if it stays the same

What if you don’t know the negative things in the relationship? How can you fix them?
By being honest about your own relationship and and what happened. I'm sure if you actually think about it, you can find things in your relationship that weren't working very well. That is the first place to start.

Not sure how old her kids are or exactly what your relationship is with them, but I would have the kids get mom's permission to message you, depending on the circumstance. Also, whatever you do, do NOT try to use the kids as a backdoor to your ex or in anyway try to put them in the middle of whatever is going on between you and your ex. That kind of thing can really mess up a kid. If you have any other means of communicating with her (phone number, home address, email, etc.) then use that to communicate with her.
And by "home address" I mean that you would write a letter... not that you would stalk her or anything weird like that.
