Man your room is just so awesome, and it is an inspiration for what I hope to achieve in the future. Right now I live in an apartment with my wife, but I hope one day we can get a nice house and we can have a dedicated theater room like this. Keep up the great work!
It’s all about making the most of your space. 99.999% of us don’t have dedicated theater rooms. We use spare bedrooms, attics, basements, etc and make it work! I know even with my limited space I’m in the 1%, and I’m grateful for it
I'm in that 1 percent like you. My tv room is bigger then yours but I do keep it less cluttered. Less is more when it comes to having a nice looking TV room. Your room has always looked a tad cluttered to me. You seemed to go out of your way to have all the best equipment just to say you have it lol. Whatever makes you happy. Even if it means a cluttered mess of a room. You definitely need a bigger house my man.
First time commenting, I’ve been watching your content for about 6 months after upgrading my to to a 4K oled. Jeff you’re the man. I love your passion when it comes to physical media. Thanks for all the work you do!
As a middle aged Dad who collects physical media and is a life long Boston sports fan I want to give you mad props on your journey and your passion. The room like mine, is clearly autobiographical. Thank you very much for sharing in the ways that you do.
You've really done well maximizing your space. It looks fantastic. I love all of the collectables and knick knacks you have. There's definitely an abundance of awesomeness going on in that room. Very cool man.
I like the organized setup of your movie collection. I also put some movies in a box, because it saves a lot of space for certain movies that I would watch multiple times on the shelf, and the ones in the box are mainly for collectors edition.
Love the tours brother. Looks like your wish was answered. Just saw the 6 movie collectors set for Jurrasic Park is available for pre-order. Pretty awesome Raptor diorama comes with it.
Great video! I ended up buying the spinning tower shelfs based off of one of your previous room videos. Bought two of them and was able to fit my entire 4k collection on there with room to spare for another 100 or so movies. Going to buy a third one for my blurays.
The best part about the Freddy is where you have your camera set up aswell as the placement of him he stares into your soul it’s fantastic. Love the content brother!
Ever thought about going projector? I run a 4K projector onto a painted white wall. I love it. Only downside for horror-lovers is the black levels aren't the best. OLED tv would be ideal for that.
I absolutely love the hall way entrance to your room. Like walking through the halls of a Cinema as you approach your theater. Your escape from reality. You should consider putting dimmer lights over each poster. Nice little effect. Looking forward to your 4k review of Top Gun Maverick. Keep it going Jeff. I look forward to your videos every day.
Love how your room set-up is, very amazingly cool. I like how you organize your collection. Those movie busts look really cool especially the Freddy Kruger one.
I just wanted to say that you’re the best at what you do, I depend on your channel to help me decide if I want certain movies so thank you so much I really appreciate you.
The room and setup is amazing jeff, you deserve it, but I agree with you you need more space 😉 . You work so hard and you're videos show that, here's to your continued success cheers 🍻
Great setup! I could never go back to having bookshelf speakers for surrounds. I have been using full-range floor speakers for my surrounds for past 20 yrs. That's why I can get away with not having a subwoofer. The 5 speakers I use put out a ton of bass. LOL
Must be pretty big to get anything below 25hz. I would guess you’re missing out on a lot of bass. What are you running? Not trying to be a dick, just curious.
The real ideal setup would be full-range at least for the 5.0, plus a sub. That way you can play content built for full-range speakers without a dip in quality, and you can also play content with mid-high range plus a dedicated sub perfectly. Otherwise you’d need multiple systems or you’d have to constantly reconfigure your one system to play everything.
@@shanerollins3736 That's why I love Klipsch speakers. They handle the full range very well and are some of the best speakers when it comes to movies AND music. Once you become accustomed to horns, you will never go back! I haven't used a sub in almost 10 yrs, as the speakers I have put out a lot of bass. I have Klipsch KLF-30's for my mains and surrounds. Each has tweeter horn, mid-range horn and two 12 in woofers and weigh about 105 lbs each. They are beasts! I have custom subs made from antique wooden coffins but have no room for them in current house.
I purchased the same theatre seats based on your review. Luv them. But as a fellow moviefile Atmos is not only an encoding but a speaker placement specification. The lack of seperation alone you may as well have a good sound bar. Trust me once you dial in the audio you'll appreciate it so much more, let alone bass placement, OUCH. And all the memorabilia must rattle and the clutter impacts sound quality too, best to move them into a different room totally, your ears will thank you. But I appreciate your enthusiasm!
I'm jealous of how many movies you have. Especially from like shout factory and arrow etc. My collection is slowly growing but I don't have much room left. Hoping to get a bigger shelf space when I move
Nice Tour! - I enjoyed seeing everything you had. I remember pricing a Topps 1952 Mickey Mantle RC card back in 1993. In excellent condition it listed for $25,000. I can still remember the day that he died (August 13, 1995). I was at a friends house and the breaking news came on TV. As you know, there's a world of difference between excellent condition prices and mint condition prices; in this case, we're talking about millions of dollars in today's market. Back in the 1990's I was a big fan of the Denver Broncos. I lived in Colorado during 1991/2 after moving there from Michigan. Everyday to and from work I drove by the old Mile High Stadium (on I-25). In 1997 I picked up a few John Elway collectibles and still have them today: his 1984 Topps RC card, an official NFL Wilson Football and an official NFL Riddell Helmet (both autographed by John Elway). You and I have a couple of home theater components that are definitely in the higher-end category when it comes to performance and value (Re: your TV & 4k UHD Blu-ray Player). I have a Samsung 75" Q800T TV and a Panasonic DP-UB900 Blu-ray Player.
The Reavon plays CDs, although I’m not sure how it would handle an album like The Dark Side Of The Moon or a live album where there’s not clean breaks between the tracks. Most modern players break the album up. :(
As for the turntable, he definitely needs one of them. I’m shocked that the only vinyls I’ve seen in his collection so far are the collectible 45s from Halloween.
Love your room. I have a room simply called "the office". It's both a work area for me and the wife and an entertainment room. Has a 7 foot long desk with my gaming PC and printer are on. And enough shelves for paper and ink cartridges and office supply stuff. Got a glass entertainment center with 2 glass shelves on each side which holds my PS 3, 4, and 5 and my R2D2 360. My Xbox 1 is in living room. There is no real theme to it. Its a mish mash of stuff. One shelf I have Star Wars stuff the other shelf holds my Star Trek and Halo collection. An old hutch with army tanks, cannons, planes, and a submarine. A bookshelf with a wide array of books dealing with history and Star Wars and Trek. And I got a few other odd and end things displayed. It's still a work in progress but I got it to almost where I want it. Thanks for this video.
you dont have to buy shelves to hold your physical media. you can do what i do which is tape your cd/dvd/vhs into bricks. then stack the bricks to make a wall of media. saves alot of space and money. i tape 15 dvd together around first. then tape an x pattern on the pack to increase the bricks stability. looks cool too as decore. you can also leave spaces in the dvd wall and put funko pops.
Excellent room buddy. Along with all the cool movie and theater set up have to highlight the amazing personalized seating and the signed Mchale jersey. Having followed the Celtics throughout the 80s, that is phenomenal.
Cool room! I was curious if you’re room has any short reflections or as we call “flutter” in the audio world. Basically slap back reverb. Since you’ve got Atmos, was wondering if you’ve invested in some sound absorption? I have a music studio in my home and I hand built some. They worked really well to improve sound.
Imprint is quickly becoming a major player and one of my favorite boutique labels. They’re doing movies that have bad American releases, and theirs are better, and they sometimes drop stuff that isn’t even on disc in America. I honestly anticipate their announcements more than Shout or Kino.
Very nice collection room. You gave me some great ideas. It's good to see a fellow baseball card and memorabilia collector. I have all but a couple of the Roberto Clemente cards and every Topps Mets team set since the team entered the league. Thanks for sharing.
I first thought the KIDS poster was the movie post from the 1995 Larry Clark film, LOL! Cool setup. I used to have a large collection of Laserdiscs until their popularity faded off to the graveyard for good. I still enjoy your reviews. 😎
Those are awesome seats. I really want to upgrade my seating but my room is not a dedicated theater it’s a living room in an open floor plan apartment lol. We have cool neighbors! I really want to do overhead atmos speakers but seems like a big job.
I have been told from Geek Squad tech that having speakers so close to the TV could cause issues such as black clouding due to the magnets inside of the speakers.
Is that still a problem with flat screens? I know it was a problem with tubes, so much so that the fancier speakers had insulation to protect the other equipment. Had no clue this was still a problem.
@@shanerollins3736 I believe it is still a issue that can happen, yes. I had a Sony X900H and just recently got it replaced due to the issue. I had my much older stereo setup and speakers within a foot from it and I started getting black clouding all over the edges of my TV. The Geek Squad technician had stated he still sees it happen maybe once every few months.
Great Theater Tour. I can see that your Home Cinema is in the attic. Does it get super hot during the Summer and if so, do you have any tips on how to cool the room down? Or do you just not watch movies in the room during the Summer?
Lately, I’ve been putting my movies on top of each other horizontally instead of vertical rows. I can fit lots more on the shelves and can keep the bottom shelves empty so I don’t have to sit on the floor to look at my collection. Any opinions or advice?
Time to bust out the dust cloths!!! Lol. The only downside to being a collector of many things is that one day every month when everything gets moved to dust the shelves. Great space and great collection! Greetings from a fellow Boston sports fan and film collector.
UPDATE - I MOVED! Here’s the new room your video: ruclips.net/video/7Hs7IQNZ_0A/видео.html
