She delivers. And the music is fantastic. No surprise to suggest LIVES OUTGROWN will be THE album of the year for many people. Why? Because it is that deep, but accessible. Experimental, but down to earth. Bleak, but elevating. Melancholic, but life-affirming. Simple as that - and full of layers.
Understand what you are saying, but, and I know this will be heresy to some, I don't think some of the songs are actually that strong. Listened to the album 4 times now, thinking it would be grower, but for me at least, it isn't.

Just incredible - Beth really puts her soul into these performances and the band is incredible. Hats off to the production team, a great collaboration which must have required unbelievable technical chops to achieve such a clear sound.
seeing her in Berlin was truly the most amazing experience of my life. I even got to hold her hand and give her an artwork I made her... truly the most amazing performance, Beth didn't change at all. the hold she has on people's hearts didn't change
That was one of the most breathtakingly gorgeous performances I've ever seen in my life. She brought the tears, she brought the goosebumps and the accompanying band was out of control brilliant

This is really nice, the guitar riff pulled me in straight away and I'm loving the weirdness in the arrangement and obviously that voice of course. All that and im only on song one 🎉❤
I had the pleasure of seeing...well hearing Beth & her band on 11th June at the Usher Hall, Edinburgh. Absolutely stunning performance. We were in the upper tier so we only saw Beth's silhouette for 98% of the show as the lighting, whilst effective in creating an atmosphere, it meant we only saw Beth when the houselights came on at the end. Still worth every penny though. Thank you Beth & band 🙂

One of the things I admire about Beth Gibbons is that she seems to have done only what she wants in her career. But, that said, please, please do more tour dates and come to the US. I mean, it's Beth Gibbons and it's also this incredible group of musicians.

The low-key goddess returns (with a great band); only Beth Gibbons can stare into the void, find beauty there, and give it a voice.
