I don't claim to understand exactly what he went through but I can believe that you can get aggravated quite easily when you body suffers, and his physical condition was certainly real (he complained about having a hard time playing the guitar at some point, seemingly because of back pain). Then add ontop of that the social isolation, increased due to covid, and you got a recipe for mental health problems to form. I too sometimes wonder why my body does things the way it does, and I 100% believe a mentally instable mind can blow that out of proportion to convince yourself you have cancer. Sometimes all you need is some certainty by doctors and support, both of which he seems to have gotten now. So please, don't jump to conclusions when you are in the privileged position of not having to deal with mental heatlh issues. A valid concern for sure, but don't present it as fact.

Since this is OkameP with Miku and Luka, I can't help but love the album. But... You mentioned Dreaming Colors, and I am rather a fan of this OkameP's style. You may call it "the old one", but I still keep listening to Acedia and Edelweiss. Hope he will do another album in this style
I think my favorite songs of his are still "Hysteria" and "Sex With Minors" (that's an Utsu level of messed-up-song-title right there xP) because they're so hardcore. But this is pretty good too. I like "Happy Tears of Blood" and "Placing Feelings"! A step in the right direction, as far as I'm concerned!
I wish okame-P experimented more with his chorus. I swear all his songs are the same because they all have these slow vocals with drums and atmospheric feel. #1 vs #8 for example...

(It's on a different key, but the melody is basically the same) Besides this, Okame surprised me with another mind blowing album!! I am in love with all the tracks!

It's what it's called taking inspiration/referencing. Okame has a lot of songs that have similar parts and/or structure of songs from other artists. Since both songs are vastly different int the end it's all good.
