    The time delay figures look a little wonky. You can see the delay amounts are not based on distance from the microphone. How does the staging sound?
    The only possible explanation I have is that the computer is also adjusting the phase so that the sound from all the drivers actually hits the microphone/your ear simultaneously.

      yea it uses phase in the mix, its quite crazy really. staging it good, not perfect, a bit of movement. id rate it 6-7 out of 10. i can and will improve it my self of course.

    Verry nice . Whats your front stage? Looks like you changed it up from the deaf bonce.

    I see you've crossed your rear subs at 100hz. Are you able to hear any of their output above 50 hz? If not, then why not cross them lower so that you're not wasting amplifier power?

    • @CarAudioEnthusiasts
      @CarAudioEnthusiasts  5 месяцев назад

      not a bad call, i normally cross them at around 60.

      @@CarAudioEnthusiastsI've got a similar sized vehicle, a Navigator. With a small sub box in the rear and measuring from the front seat, it plays up to 45 hz and then there's a massive drop. I've heard people say that a larger enclosure in the rear can shrink the interior volume and allow the rear subs to play a little bit higher.
      Can you measure/hear your rear sub up to 60hz?
      I'm going to be installing an 8 ft enclosure in the rear so I'm crossing my fingers that it will be able to play higher, maybe up to 55 or 60 hz. Maybe then I can get rid of my front mounted sub in the passenger footwell.

      @@JasonWW2000 yea itll play 60, i run a sub in the console as well. lil sealed 10 in a very tight box, its amazing. itll play about 30 to 100 with ease. very smooth little sub. i have a play list on it, there were trials...but in the end its awesome. totally MAKES the front stage.

    Your doors are 100-6000 that doesn’t cause problems with frequency’s from a pillars?

      @@CarAudioEnthusiasts Do the lower mounted door mids bring the stage height down or does it still stay nice and high?

    • @CarAudioEnthusiasts
      @CarAudioEnthusiasts  5 месяцев назад

      @@JasonWW2000 not at all, i can play them alone, and the stage is still above the dash, the loacation of the pods are kinda magic that way. doesnt matter what drivers are there, the stage will really be high.

    I have this DSP. How often do you use the microphone?

    I’ve been looking for a dsp more toward sq. Does this dsp allow for control to make rear a fill?

    • @CarAudioEnthusiasts
      @CarAudioEnthusiasts  5 месяцев назад

      yes, creating rear fill takes some tuning tricks, all of which can be done on this dsp

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 5 месяцев назад +1

      If you're looking for differential rear fill, I think that's going to be exclusive to Helix brand dsps since it's a special software program.

      @@JasonWW2000 i’ve been looking toward helix or the mini dsp w direct live. going to run a 3 way front stage.
