I will always look for vintage ADG. If you get your hands on an intact bottle (top notes always suffer in vintage) it is so worth it. The depth to me is worth it.
I'll keep grabbing these but you're right, the notes always seem to fade. The thing with Japan, the climate is not conducive to conserving things and people here don't crank the AC up, so it's not ideal inside either.
i notice that with alot of vintage, weirdly mostly early 90s, the writing can wear off if you rub it. unfortunately my gold cap guerlain heritage was my first lesson in that lol.
Cheers Steven, always nice to grab a vintage bottle for sure , however your so right some fragrances are probably better off on a new bottle basis especially those that don’t have much reformulation due to the lack of old school expensive or regulated notes ,great little find bud 🙏✌️👍
Thanks as always. Sometimes it's not worth the money or effort just to get a vintage bottle, when it's still available as new and not so much different.
As for longevity, the vintage did last a little longer than the modern one. But, it wasn't by a lot, maybe an extra hour.
I loved all of the fragrances my guy friends wore in the 90s.

@@SeanHH1986 Right! And 80s as well. I'm super careful with all my bottles because of that.

Its interesting how older atomisers nozzles were so much bigger then the current ones. Still patiently awaiting the Leau Dissey Pour Homme video 😁
I'm editing it now ;-). Recorded a while ago.
@@eaudetreasure 🤩 👌
Your honesty worth all the appreciation.
A great fragrance despite the reformulations.
I just want to go to Japan to find vintage like that.
Come on down!
