Boney elbows and in n out burger are a lot easier than treasure trail. The rock slabs look very hard but the granite has so much grip you can slow right down on them very easy.
Robert Coates Squamish is really awesome. There is also Britannia next to it which has so many epic views. Get your climbing legs ready though. If you want to do a proper ride in Squam’ your looking at pedal up at least 800m and if you want a really good day over 1200m.
Props to Neil for sending it down 19th in the wet on a trail bike. That trail is no joke. Speaking of jokes, seems someone made you the butt of one when they sent you down Powersmart. That trail is is so blown out that pretty much nobody rides it anymore!
I leave for Vancouver in the morning, but the only bike I'll be riding is a Mobi bike sharing bike. This looked phenomenal and cheers for SORCA for the care of those trails...spectacular!
This brings so many great memories of Squamish, especially Squamish's Alice Lakes, my favorite of the Squamish trails. Great video and great riding skills. These video's make me yearning to get back. Maybe next summer...
Love BC you can find trails like this almost everywhere you go. Would love to move back some day living in Alberta isn't all that fun if you love the outdoors, mountains and the sea.
Such a sick place to ride, also, with Niel doing it,he makes it look easy, also, awesome editing and filming!! Please do the next Epic ride in Cork Ireland!!
You should drive east next time and check out the Fraser Valley or go even farther east to Silver star near Vernon. I’ve never been mountain biking at silver star however when I was like 19, we went on vacation there and did a wildflower walk in which we had to take chairlift up. We were surrounded by mountain bikers headed up the mountain to ride the trails. I plan to go someday to try mountain biking.
Neil does say "Squamish" a little funny, almost posh sounding. Here's a little video on how it's pronounced by some of the locals ruclips.net/video/yknmoz9PZRU/видео.html
A drop of water could do that. But I've also had weird glitches like that happen in post production editing that I can't explain. Software glitch I guess.
Lower center of gravity...but most importantly for me anyway is they are more comfortable as you don't sweat as much. Highly recommend if you don't bring too much gear on rides
@@Rqoiz cool, if you are looking for one I would highly recommend evoc's hip pack pro 2019 model.. it's elasticated and has these tabs you pull which make it a very secure fit(no bouncing around on decents). I personally wouldn't go back to a backpack unless I was bringing loads of gear for a very long ride.
What pack do you wear? I'm considering a hip-pack w/ bladder to replace a backpack w/ bladder. I like how little your setup seems to move around. And you are def getting more air time and likely send it harder than I do.
I wanna go ride trails like that and ride Xc, just load up a backpack of water, food and extra tubes and a tool pack, and just ride to where ever the road or country takes me. Just go from city to city, country side to country side. Camp in the middle of nowhere and just do it all over again. Just ride with the wind.
I've hiked that area (before I had a bike), really great region. I saw some guys on bikes going down some pretty huge slabs, more balls than I still have lol
Yep he lives in the area as all his videos are from various parts of BC from what I've seen. Mainly a mix of Whistler, Squamish, Vedder Mountain (Chilliwack)
We have a saying around here: Squamish Sucks, Don't go! Or at least, don't come t'ill noon lol. I love not to have to get up at 4am in order to find a parking spot when I go rock climbing or mountain biking on the weekend.
TheFlashRX just keep looking on second hand sites such as gumtree, BikeExchange, Facebook marketplace and eBay. Good second hand bikes often pop up there, gotta be fast though.
you should have contacted me, I can give you a proper tour, I also just fixed the In N Out sign, it was just hanging off the tree, but glad you enjoyed my home trails!
Watch Neil Donoghue having fun on Tinder and Your Mom! Now on GMBN!
That sounded so wrong!
Hahahahahahah that sounds so wrong
Thank you for mentioning SORCA!
Neil’s friends: what did u ride today
Neil: your mom

A lot of young single guys in mountain biking... is it really much of a surprise?
Yo, 2013 called, it wanted the shaky POV footage back! ;-)
Neil, you have the best job in the world.
"Something more mellow"
Rides a giant rockroll on the edge of a mountain.
it's a little steep but nowhere near as technically challenging as some sections of treasure
Boney elbows and in n out burger are a lot easier than treasure trail. The rock slabs look very hard but the granite has so much grip you can slow right down on them very easy.
Started riding and watching again after a couple years of having kids... instinctually cracked a beer to watch Neil ride
I can't believe how high has the video quality has gotten over the years. Amazing job!
Geez Neil, how many of those beers did you have?
Squamish. Literally the number one place I want to go to ride.

I'll hang it on my wall. My wife would hate it but it must happen.
Ronald Tartaglia made me look
The "awesomeness" of these trails are just awesome!!!
I was ripping down half Nelson with my dad and saw you guys waiting on the bridge.
Seeing Neil shred those technical trails was amazing!!! They seems so cool
I hope you had fun on the island... I heard you are here, Cheers to you guys
Neil and the gnarl couldn't of looked more epic!! Neil's always so monotoned like it was just a walk in the park!great vid 🤘
YES! Neil went to Backcountry Brewing... best beer in BC (along with Twin Sails in Port Moody just outside Vancouver).
Amazingly beautiful piece of the world!!
saw a video not so long ago on this some seriously crazy sections! love it!
I think it's time GMBN to splurge and upgrade from a 🥔 to hero 7 for the chase cam.
Hero 4+gimbal.
I like how this vid was presented. I'd like to watch more of these..,
Absolutely brilliant and as usually Neil was shredding it.🤘
Epic ride Neil, loving your hustle through the North Shore gnarl 🤙

Welcome to the beautiful north. Cool to see a couple of trails I haven't ridden before.
Welcome to my backyard! BC has LOADS of amazing riding anywhere you go!
You looked like you really enjoyed that place, it's got to be every mtb'ers dream
So smooth.
Treasure trail is one of the most fun slab trails in Squamish
sooo good , have ridden a few of those trails , back next year to get some more , uk could learn loads from the inventive building in BC
Another amazing video ❤️
Awesome video Neil and #GMBN
I will be visiting Squamish when i next get over to see my Dad in Maple Ridge near Vancouver.
Love the PNW and love when you guys do some riding here, even though you're with our brothers up North and not in Washington.
Wow that looked so so good
Looks wicked loving the vids guys!!
I really like Don's riding style. Great video.
I wish I was there. These trials look good. I will make them one day.
Wow those trails are literally works of art. Also love the random voices saying trail names.

The Real Deal Neil! Haha! Puckered cheeks and all. Good stuff bloke, about time you rode some squirrelly Squamish. I’m next...
