You need to boot your Windows in repair mode. to do so you need to forcefully shutdown your pc 3 or more times.as soon as screen loads.
Remove the power cable if you are on PC or take out the battery if you are on Laptop.

3. Now it will start in repair mode, Windows will try to diagnose startup problem. If it can't repair you need to go to advanced options.
4. Turn your Windows ON in safe mode from advanced options. by pressing F4 key
5. In safe mode open device manager.
6. Find the Display driver and uninstall it.
7. Uninstall monitor driver.
8. Now, restart your Windows.

Good job! so many others on RUclips telling you it's a hardware failure, you have to reset, your bios is the problem... this video saved me so much just a simple switch off 2 times to Windows loading screen with the dots on my lenovo w540 and system restore back to normal no black screen!
please guys make sure you back up your memory every month! even every 2 weeks with a storage device, USB or Windows system restore you never know what can happen i was on the verge of resetting till I found this video and did the system restore choice luckily I had backup a few days ago obviously I deleted something on the computer which caused the black screen 😂
p.s if system restore is taking a long time please let it... mine took 5 hours it may take more it's normal.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. My screen went black after I Regained control of my Dell XPS8700 desktop, with no cursor. Whenever I try to start the machine, first, I get the press F1 boot page, then, the Dell logo with spinning dots, then, just a black screen.

I followed your advice with the uninstallation of the Adapters Folder files (2 of them on Windows 10) and the Monitors Folder (1 file), both inside the Device Manager Folder. I did have my Drivers CD in the floppy drive which I thought may have been a good idea as well. Rebooted my laptop and WOW ..... the screen was/is revitalized! No more BLACK SCREEN! It took some time to acclimate and settle in, but it did! I reloaded my security software and am now happy!

No lenovo, HP, Asus etc (don't know your computer brand) logo pops up first into the windows icon or loading dots below?
also how did you encounter the black screen was you trying to debloat? modify windows files like the reg or deleting a file by accident? or Windows update
