He helped score their biggest pop hits like - 'Need you tonight'... 'New sensation' ... 'What you need' ... 'Beautiful girl' ... 🔥🔥 In the 90's, INXS was trending down in the alternative rock era and record sales dropped by the mid-90's... still, INXS persisted and had some success w/ their 1997 album 'Elegantly wasted'... Sadly, it was their last record w/ Michael Hutchence on vocals. As the frontman and rock star of INXS, Michael Hutchence was irreplaceable... he had a voice, presence and charisma that appealed to women and could not be duplicated on record or in concert... I saw INXS in 1988. When they played this song, during the break you loved so much they actually left the stage for a few minutes, changed clothes, then picked up with the guitar when they got back. Really incredible live moment.
