I bought an SXR 1500 and was told all these things I needed to do to it to get it "up to speed"... turns out I liked grippier sponsons and thats about it. Maybe a new tray mat down the line, and a stiffer pole spring, but like... I'm "putzing" around at 35 to 40... I'm not racing, I'm not buoy chasing... I'm just looking for a more connected ride than my 300 (sit down seadoo!)
I hate zero degree bars and prefer 4's also! Everyone, it seems, they all like zero degres, but that is just not natural! I think its because someone recommended them to them and now they allgot used to that atrocious un natural grip position!

There is no right or wrong, it is whatever feels good for you.
