Since Nintendo wouldn’t be in that one, it may be cool if you guys even switched sides (unless that could cause confusion haha). Another episode I’d love to see would be comparing Resident Evil for the Saturn against Resident Evil 2 for the N64 to determine which is the better port (since both are originally developed for the PS1, this might be a fun Nintendo vs Sega discussion to see who handled porting better). Keep up the excellent work guys!!
Someone needs to port a collapsing haunted house section from the Genesis port to the SNES version as a ROM hack to make the SNES version a "director's cut" or a "definitive edition".
The last boss final form appearance is also different. On Genesis, the background goes dark to allow the game to draw in Pete the Dragon, while on SNES Pete sort of mosiacs his way in, looking quite neat in doing so. Own both versions, the entire trilogy on SNES/SFC.
I think there was an old Comic where Minnie did leave Mickey and he spent the rest of the Comic trying to end himself. I don't know if Disney Cannon has Mickey and Minnie Married but I think their Voice Actors were Married. Good Episode Guys.
They are darker, and the lesser color palette is too saturated, making the game darker than it should be. The game is ligh fare, not trying to be some dark horrific adventure, though Goofy moonwalking at the beginning on both versions is horrific enough.
Wow… a tie?! That hasn’t happened in a while…. Also THAT TWIST ENDING?! Happy holidays guys! Thanks for continuing to make content that makes everyone’s day better.

Awesome episode to close out 2021. I hope you dudes had a great Christmas and have an equally awesome New Year.
Love your channel guys!! You should do a video with Game Sack that would be epic
I love how you guys always seem more disgusted to have a tie then when losing any given category lol
Nintendo: 46
Sega: 42
Ties don't count in the entire series though.
Can you guys do a PlayStation vs Sega Saturn videos?
Thx, that was good battle, hope Donald Duck in Maui Mallard (Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow) will be next or Jungle Book.
Thanks for waiting until after Christmas to release this. Never had my phone blow up so much...
Thumbs up for including Sam!
5:25 At this time of year, at this time of day, at this part of the country, localized entirely within this stage?!
Sorry, couldn't resist 🤣
We made the same reference multiple times when filming it... Seymour! The house is on fire!
lol, Pat could stop doing the Superintendent Chalmers voice
I think there was an old Comic where Minnie did leave Mickey and he spent the rest of the Comic trying to end himself. I don't know if Disney Cannon has Mickey and Minnie Married but I think their Voice Actors were Married.
Good Episode Guys.
I like how the colors on Sega look better.
They are darker, and the lesser color palette is too saturated, making the game darker than it should be. The game is ligh fare, not trying to be some dark horrific adventure, though Goofy moonwalking at the beginning on both versions is horrific enough.
I was hoping to see this before Christmas but I guess I'll watch it now :)
Yooooo! Yea hell yea. Clicked as soon as I seen it. Thanks for this Christmas present.
Yes!!! New episode!!! Always exiciting!!
Wow… a tie?! That hasn’t happened in a while…. Also THAT TWIST ENDING?! Happy holidays guys! Thanks for continuing to make content that makes everyone’s day better.
I love this channel! Happy Holidays!
Happy friggin holidays!
New episode and always good as usual, a perfect Christmas gift to us. :D thank you guys, merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Best episode yet!
Thank you!
You pissed 😂😂😂
Yes, we all had a thing for Cleo.
Fantastic video as usual...dongled a very good retrogaming youtuber indeed
We were all into Rescue Rangers.
But..how into them?
Great episode!
Sega Lord X and Game Sack collab when!
Retro channels unite!
The fog on the megadrive would look perfect on a crt TV or a good shader on emulation, that's called dithering.
Great work as always! I’d say Worst Game between Sega and Nintendo: Crash Test Dummies
I loved „The Magical Quest“ but i never played this game. I didn‘t even know it‘s the sequel.
The Sega game looks brighter that is how in presentation I knew what was the sega game. but great review here.
Hey guys. "Deutsch" does not mean "dutch" but instead it means "german". Just wanted to point that on the map for avoiding confusion. Stay safe, stay clever and compare further the odds of Sega and Nintendo. 😊👍 I also have a nice suggestion for a video that contains what version is worse. Rise of the Robots. Greetings from Max from Germany. 😉 You guys rock.
Another great episode! Happy Holidays to you all!
This time the friendship is victorious!!^^
But IMHO, SNES version have an edge in sound department, but Genesis version have better, more vibrant colors.
Just found out that the Genesis port of Magical Quest 2 is still playable even with a 3-button controller by pushing the C button to select between costumes, then hit START to change into selected costume and hit START again to pause the game.
That plot twist tho. Awesome episode! Happy Holidays!
"We dont even know how to pump our own gas." That made me laugh my ass off. I was driving through NJ once and had to stop for gas, and was totally caught off guard that they dont let you pump your own gas. Good stuff.
Ahahahaha "I had plans today, i was going to drink then play video games and drink while playing videogames"
The next video is obviously Championship Pool. Released 1993 on NES and the Sega master system
This is probably the second time in which both games ended up in a tie with the first episode being "Battletoads & Double Dragon", which is still one of my favorite episodes that I enjoyed.
Great call, guys. Yes, both versions are very much worth owning.
MY GOD. Literally burst out laughing at least a dozen times.
That's what we like to hear!
The good ole SNES had some creamy looking Disney games, huh?? Pinocchio, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Bonkers, Gargoyles and so on.
I was looking forward this episode, an unexpected game for genny, lets see the comparison.
I was going to drink, then play videogames, then drink and play videogames. That's a good afternoon.
That IS a pretty sweet afternoon.
Damn straight!
Great vid as always and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
